I've had Mountain Electric do several projects for me, from installing can lights to adding a circuit to my electrical panel for a freezer to small jobs like replacing outlets. He is prompt, cleans up after his work and his work is impeccable.

I called Mountain electric when I lost power on 1 circuit. I figured this would be a good time to get my panel up to code. Ray came out the very next day to give me an estimate. He even did some work while he was here. He got me the estimate the same day and started the work a few days later. Ray has a strong work ethic. He did a fantastic job! The inspector was even impressed. You can tell he loves what he does and he's so good at it. I would encourage you to call him for any of your electrical needs. I know I'll be recommending him any chance I get.

Needed a chandelier hung in a hurry. Ray fit the job in, got it done CORRECTLY ( for a heavier chandelier). Took the time to do it right, clean and neat, and was so professional and courteous. And then didn’t charge for an ‘emergency’ call!! I would definitely hire his company to wire my whole house or do any smaller job. As a woman who has to arrange for a lot of work at our home because my husband isn’t able; there are people who have tried to take advantage. It was so wonderful to have such a professional, knowledgeable electrician working on our home, who also treated me fairly. Absolutely 100% recommend.🥇🏆

These guys used to be the best when they gave out miniature hot lady calendars there was no way to forget their name ESP just look at your toolbox & 😮 wow hahaha- Now they are a little more pricey (forgettable w/o the calendars!?) They still are good guys & this is a good little known place to save 30-40% on electric supplies, wire, etc...

They were great with amazing help. I will be back again. We need more people and store like this!

They have new, they have used, they have the common stuff and the rare... to be honest, if anyone has made it, they have one. Great service, reasonable pricing. Give them a call and if they can't help you, they know who might be able to.

We've used Merit for years for a variety of things in our manufacturing plant. Machine hookups, lighting, power re-routing, etc.
Bret has always been prompt returning my calls and their techs, especially Dave, are personal and professional. Wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

We needed a switch repaired that activated our outdoor light. It took three attempts and they charged extra for a switch that we didn’t need. They charged for two men to come out when only one worked. They charged driving time to and from which they never told us about . They charged over $600 for a switch that turns on the light at five in the evening and off at five in the morning. I complained in a voice mail be no one called back.

Had electricity hook up done for our new hot tub. Electrical box and wiring priorly installed by previous owner. The electrician complained about having to move it and then stated we could not have a porch light within X amount of feet of our hot tub per code. He took the light down and capped it off. State inspector stated it is against code to not have a back porch light and the electrical cords were not secured (tripping hazard). Merit sent 2 electricians to correct prior work. They charged us for the follow up visit ($400), including a charge to have two electricians on site. When the company was called about the follow up charge they discounted it by $150 and stated they wouldn’t be making money off this job if they didn’t charge us.
Assumption a licensed company would know code and if they needed to do follow up we would not be charged for their lack of knowledge.

A friend recommended Merit after I had a bad experience with another company. My tenant was shocked replacing a lightbulb, and several lights (just worked on by another company three months prior) stopped working. Merit scheduled an estimate a day or two after I called. They told me the breaker was oversized for the wiring, which overheated the wiring and tripped the breaker. They replaced two light fixtures, some burnt wiring, and the breaker. They repaired it that day, and the bill was half what the other company charged me. I will use them next time I need an electrician, and have recommended them to several friends.
