BL Best is the best place to get electrical components. They're all very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They're my first stop for electric components. I recommend anyone to check them out.

These folks are well experienced, poliite, we'll stocked, and take the time to treat you like a customer. The way all stores treated you years ago. Prices are fair and their friendly attitude will keep me comming back always.

Helped me diagnose and replace a capacitor for a few bucks rather than have to call an Hvac Specialist and pay for a service call. Even loaned me parts to test the problem. Couldn't have been more friendly or helpful and got me running in a hour flat.

B.L. Best ROCKS. Called got great info from Bradley..😊.... Took a part from our AC unit in . He tested it found a replacement for us near by at Johnston's. We were in a time crunch. Had 10 minutes to get there. We got there in time. Whew. Thank you B.L. Best. You are the best!! Saved us like well over $200.00 . YAY!!!

I came in just before closing tonight with a simple request of a few Federal Pacific breakers. Sounds pretty easy right? No!!!! The Old 1914 S. Hill home has numerous electrical problems multiple panels mostly old wiring and some new. The panel in the upstairs bedroom has old fuses old panel and is somehow popped in to the upgraded panel down in the basement next to the fireplacOld 1914 S. Being in property management for the last 12 years I knew by the looks of the panels that issff DJ not a good situation. It started out with the patio lights, my sons room, and the bathroom lights being out. So initially I went to flip that breaker and it did not resolve the issue no lights there still. After returning to the house from picking up my son the living room lights dining room lights we’re now in operable as well. Today the breaker popped in the bedroom upstairs so I initially went down to reset the breaker. I think it’s the breakers that are bad go to Platte Electric Supply they referred me to be our best because there specialize in federal Pacific panel. I am so glad they did because when I came in I had a bunch of questions Which Brian the owner was happy to answer.
Now please take note I am not an electrician, I am not the owner but the tenant that wants light and heat in the house.
The landlord and owner are not very eager to spend money to have an electrician come and look and fix the wiring so I took it upon myself to remove the breakers and bring them to a place that specializes in electrical to try to be able to power my house and tell my electrician comes to look at it.
First off I want to say that Brian and crew absolutely recommended that I need an electrician, somebody with professional experience to handle it and to fix it correctly per code. That being said they did answer a lot of questions and we’re very straightforward with how an electrical panel is wired, how wiring typically functions in a house outlets versus appliances and so forth. I now have so much more knowledge of the basics set up of wiring to use and utilize for the rest of my life. And amongst all my stupid questions they did not once seem irritated or make me feel in adequate in anyway. As for my electrician he will be here tomorrow morning to Restore power.
This is a great locally owned electrical supply shop with real, down to earth people that genuinely care. They are not stingy with their knowledge and are more than fair with pricing.

If you are someone that needs questions answered, about electrical around your house or own a commercial business I would skip Lowe’s or Home Depot and come straight to the BL Best crew. Thank you BL. Best !

So so glad I found this place. After several unhelpful online searches for answers I walked in not expecting much. I was delightfully surprised as these guys were very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgable. Not only did I get a quick answer to my questions but I left with TWO different options of how to solve my issue. I highly recommend them. Thanks for your help you guys!

Known owner Bryan since his ESP (ex-employer/surplus electric supply shop)days. Bryan is A very nice gentleman & will help you anyway he can. That being said, the prices for used equipment/parts are getting as high as ESP eventually got ((The very last time I went to ESP I was quoted a price for used panel that was $2 more than Home Depot’s new price?!))

Bryan to pay spot copper/brass prices for your stuff or free when buildings get torn down, Or Penny on the dollar of outdated or surplus items Then turn around sell for 20x the price you paid just seems greedy. The parts I paid $30 for I looked at the breaker warehouse out of Seattle & could get it shipped to me in a 2 days for $20 less. New olde stock, not even used! I know you are running a business, but dang maybe get rid of the gal standing around getting in way & looking for customers to annoy….b/c although she’s good at what she does 😂 A necessity she’s not.

I needed a main breaker for my meter panel. It was apparently a uncommon breaker, I looked online at several sites with no luck from local stores. I was directed by a store to check BL Best which I did. The owner called several places and finally found one for me. I believe BL Best went beyond the call! Thank you so much!
