I make deliveries from Matson to them for repairs. Good to deal with.

Cant ge the lady who answers the phone to transfer me to a sales person. First she tries to transfer me out of state then keeps bombarding me with questions untill i finally habg up. I call back and she does the same thing.

I love this place, I used to work for them, now I am a frequent customer. They do great quality work, tame old, broken, beat up breakers and make them new again. They come out to the field and do acceptance and maintenance testing of just about anything electrical that you can think of. They treat customers like family, if it wasn't for the long drive I would still be working there today!

My wife is a Realtor and needed an electrician to verify a couple issues on a home that was under contract. Ryan was the first to make it out, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him!

We are very happy with the work First Day Electric completed on our home. We had security cameras installed, a ceiling fan, floor outlets, and speakers in the ceiling. There was good communication to make sure the work was exactly what we wanted, and no attempt to sell us anything that we didn't want. We would definitely use this contractor again.

First Day was referred to me by a friend who had a good experience. I ended up hiring him to do a full panel replacement. His bid was better than two of the other three bids I got. Very friendly, knowledgeable and on time. He fit me into his schedule and had the job done within a week of my phone call. I’ll definitely be using these guys again when I start to work on my shop.

I cannot say enough great things about this company and my experience with them. From my first call with Jessica who was absolutely one of the kindest people over the phone to my first visit with Ryan who gave me the quote. Professional, on time, more than reasonably priced, excellent communication and left our yard looking better than when they started the work! I have contemplated writing this review for awhile now since Jessi and I go way back. I have waited for a response from them for 3 months now with no reply. Ryan came to my home to diagnose an electrical issue back in February. He was to return the following week with another person to assist him. He has not returned. I have reached out to Jessi to no avail. I gave them my business because I thought I could trust them. Apparently I was wrong. I paid $400.00 for an undiagnosed issue and have a couple lights hung. Now I have to pay someone else to come and do the same thing to diagnose and repair my issue. Very poor way to treat your customers. Shame on you both!

Wow! That’s my one word review 😉. Ryan came out a few months back to give me a quote on a lot of electrical work at my house. He was meticulous and provided me with a detailed estimate, free of charge. A few months later we decided to move forward with the most important items on our list. A massive upgrade to my garage lighting, 2 x 20 amp dedicated circuits, 1 x 220 for my welder. In the house we had at least 20 lights replaced/upgraded and most importantly, my wife’s chandelier that’s been sitting in a box for 3 years was installed. All of the work was top notch. They were done ahead of schedule and prompt every morning, which was important with my kids doing online learning and my work schedule. Even with the slight misunderstanding on a few items, Ryan was more than fair and helped to keep this project on budget. I will be using First Day again and am very happy with all of their work.

I needed a Tesla Wall Charger installed with a 60A breaker for my Model 3 and First Day was able to get me a very competitive quote after reviewing pictures and a description of the work I needed completed.

There were no gotchas or hidden fees, the service was clearly and accurately laid out and all the proper inspection and scheduling is included.

Ryan did an awesome job with the wall charger installation and it was completed in about an hour. The installation was super clean and professional.

Highly recommend them if you are looking for installing any EV charger or even a 220V outlet.

I was looking for an electrician to install a 3rd Gen Tesla wall charger in my garage. The challenge with my setup is that I live in a townhouse where the garage is in the basement and the electric panel is in the guest room on the third floor. I used the bid request feature on Yelp and Jessica from First Day electric was one of the first to respond. She was quick to arrange an estimate inspection. Ryan, her husband and the electrician arrived for the inspection at the scheduled time and gave an estimate which included the cost of drywall repair. After getting quotes from multiple companies, Ryan's quote was the most reasonable and included repair work for the dry wall which others were not offering. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the work he has done. I would recommend him and First Day Electric because:
1. I was impressed with how punctual and professional Ryan was before, during and after the work. He arrived on time, explained everything clearly, did a neat job and was spot on with all his estimates and projections on time needed to do the work

2. The installation as well as the dry wall repair was super neat. He chose a path for the wiring through the attic and closets, and did a super neat job of fixing it.

3. Jessica was always available to accommodate scheduling requests and helped set the right expectations.

Go with First Day Electric and support a local small business

It is hard to believe that there is still a business out there that over delivers on their promises. The quality of work, the fairness of price, and the integrity of the people at First Day Electric, is a Rare but Wonderful find in today's world. I'm practically looking for things to call them for. Thanks again for an Exceptional experience.

A failing switch led us to schedule panel switch needs replacement. The technician replaced it carefully and tested the circuits. I’m grateful everything works properly again.

Rude people. Ripped my off for 500 and won’t supply copies of the work they charged for because it wasn’t done. Dont use Beacon unless you like being robbed and mistreated.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. They are extremely shady in their practices. When I called to ask them the price to look at an issue where my microwave was setting off my breaker they told me it would be $75 to come out and look at the problem, I then proceeded to ask them how much it would be after this. The guy on the phone told me they would give me a quote before doing any work. I agreed, when they showed up they told me it wasn't in fact $75 to diagnose the problem it was actually an additional $389 and they would not even look at anything until I agreed to this price and signed this price.

No where on the initial phone call was this mentioned whatsoever and it was stated on this paper that all of a sudden the $75 was not for a diagnosis but actually for a "travel fee" which was also not mentioned when I initially asked the price. After spending barely any time at my home they then told me they guessed the issue was the microwave (which I had initially said was the issue on the first phone call) and they don't deal with appliances so I needed to call an appliance person. They charged me $450 to tell me a diagnosis that they "guessed was a microwave".

This business is shady and careful with their words deliberately in order to not actually give you a real cost of what it is to diagnose a problem. If the initial person on the phone told me they didn't deal with appliances I would not have even had them come out in the first place and on top of that they lied about the price.

After contacting the manager the next morning regarding this they said they'd be back in touch on Monday which never happened. Tuesday at 8PM - a different person calls to tell me once again the problem is my microwave. They have ZERO customer service and until I reported them to the BBB they seemed as though they wanted nothing to do with this.

It is very clear they are misleading and not honest about their practices and I would never recommend their services to anyone ever.
