Lake Tapps Electric Electrician, David Bivins did an excellent job on a my kitchen outlet issue, great cost and answering all my questions. Such a pleasure to have a professional take time to explain what was happening, why and how to resolve in such a personable kind manner. I had two technicians; Aiden came to give an estimate. Jacob was the technician doing the follow through.
Both young men did excellent work, most professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. I would have no problem, using Tapps Electric in the future.

Tapps was excellent. Incredibly knowledgeable, easy to contact, quick to respond, and quick to schedule. Joe Chapman was my tech that came out, and he absolutely crushed it. He was able to run a line to a fireplace with minimal drywall holes, informed me of my options for getting the line into the fireplace bay, and was able to successfully run the line without the need for me to do more demo. He also chatted with me about my circuit box and gave me a health update on it without me even asking. 10/10 would recommend.

Aidan came out to our home to assess our project and provide a quote. He was thorough, friendly and professional. He answered all our questions and provided the quote the same day. We would use Aidan again.

Tapps Electric, Heating & Air got back to us within 48 hours and then had a technician to our home to repair a loose breaker in our panel within hours of the text. The Tapps technician also traced out an issue with our bathroom outlets...to our garage, and then replaced the faulty GFCI outlet. The work was done fast and well, the price was competitive. Will call them again when I need electrical work done.

We just moved to Washington last year from California and have never needed a Heat Pump and didn’t have Air Conditioning. It was something we were told that we should get. Our new home however had many challenges to make it work. Dave and his team stepped right in and made it happen. From the beginning, Dave gave us his professional advice and walked us over what we needed to do. He even came out a second time before we made our decision on who to work with. The down side was the company texting me twice a day to write a review. A review should be a customers want to do not an obligation to do.

Aldan arrived on time and was very courteous. I described the situation with my generator and he went inside the house, ascertaining my electrical needs and determined 14kw generator would be appropriate for my home. He provided me with a very reasonable estimate.

David is our new friend!😺 I didn't get chance to meet Aidan in person, but if he and David can work well and efficiently together.. then we like him too! 👍😜 Tapps did a great job in installing new cieling fans and bathroom fans. And as I said, efficient, quick, respectful and knowledgeable. We have a couple more things we want to do and Tapps Electric will be our choice of provider!
Aiden came out 2 more times for a wall heater fix and a electric panel surge protector install. 😁

We had the pleasure of meeting Jacob today. He arrived promptly, was professional and informative.ove breaker that would trip at odd times. He explained the problem and how it would be corrected
Then into the bathroom to move a light fixture. He was done in a timely manner, wore shoe covers and was very polite. Jacob continues to provide the excellent service we have come to expect from Tapps Electric

I reached out to Tapps to install a 50 amp circuit in my garage, based on their positive reviews. However, I'm starting to question if these are real reviews. The most recent one from "J.W." is odd, because they also 5-star reviewed a different electrical contractor on the same day (along with a roofing company), but had previously only written one review in 13 years.

My estimate was over $2400 to install a new circuit to run outside the garage, for a total length of 35 feet. The nearly new electrical panel is also outside, meaning that this is a super easy job for an electrician and should take 2 hours at best (new breaker, one straight line of conduit, and connecting a 50-amp receptacle). Other quotes I received were about half what this company wanted, and the estimator was pretty flip when I tried to simplify the project to reduce the cost.

The worst part is, I submitted a quote request for three different items I needed work on at our house, but they ignored the other requests and only sent me an impersonal email to quote for the outdoor 50amp circuit. They didn't actually read my request, but went straight for the dollars. I understand that things have to be automated to operate a larger company, but this organization appears to be set up to only separate you from your money and not provide actual help or people to talk to.

I had a panel upgrade with Tapps couple years ago. We agreed to go with 40 spot panel 200amp with new cadet heats with low profile so it doesn't stick out. (For rental unit)

I was out of town for work while work has been done.

I review the work and instead of 40 spot a 30 spot was installed because (thats what we had)...
And obviously the low profile cadets weren't installed.

They came back to replace the panel. But did nothing for the cadets, let alone they left a bunch of amateur cuts.
My tenant was nice enough I can repair once they moved. Now I'm in the unit and very disappointed with the poor workmanship.

I even gave them a 2nd chance for another rental property in Puyallup.
Tenant had a bad outlet, already knew which outlet. And same dude charge 1k for (troubleshooting and replacing one outlet)

There after I never contacted them again or will I ever for any of my rentals.
