Their work represents the low ball bid that they submitted to the county. The company seems unprofessional, seemly unsafe, and unexperienced. Living in such a close proximity of their work site I have a first hand experience of how this company operates. No public regard. I am a department of transportation employee, a tax payer, and an unhappy residence caught in the cross fire of this companies work.

They are located in the middle of a neighborhood and start work well before quiet hours end. My home is right against their lot and every day I'm woken up by endless vehicle reverse alarms and house-shaking booms from their equipment starting as early as 5am sometimes.

Really unprofessional company that doesn’t seem to care about the impact they’re having on the traffic in the area. The crew I’ve had trouble with in particular is the one rebuilding the railroad bridge on mason lake road for nearly an entire year.

Half the time I’m stopped by flaggers, 90% of the crew are either standing around talking, or are on their phones. It’s disappointing to see how long this is taking because of the lack of people actually working on the job.

I've seen caltrans in calif who is notorious for taking forever on a project work faster than this company, the highway leading to Aberdeen has been a mess for 2 years now as these clowns try to make a career out of this project

Waste of tax dollars.. They draw out projects to collect more money. Hwy 8, yea they started the work, left, cake back, left, came back for a few hours, left. DOT needs to stop awarding these clowns contracts. That hwy 8 project going to aberdeen was done 6 months ago. Take your cones and open the freeway.

Rob and his team did a great job clearing and lining our root choked storm drain. They gave a reasonable quote, scheduled the work to be done quickly and provide a top quality product and service. Highly recommend.

With an expected sewer issue, R&D Construction were recommended by a plumber friend our ours. Robert Ayers and crew had the latest technical equipment to analyze our situation; a video feed showed what needed to be done. We hired Robert Ayers and his excellent crew of Patrick and Roy and they used updated techniques to limited landscape damage. Secondly, the replacement piping was top notch. We have an older home which previously used Orangeburg pipe which had collapsed --it (also known as "fiber conduit", "bituminous fiber pipe" or "Bermico") is bitumenized fiber pipe made from layers of wood pulp and pitch pressed together. R&D Construction did an amazing job. Thanks!!

I called Robert at R&D after getting several bids to help with a root intrusion on our sewer line and grinder box. Robert came out and did a difficult excavation on our hillside lot, repaired the problem and had his crew put the landscaping back together. Other companies that bid on the job misdiagnosed the problem and would have cost us twice the money without solving the problem. I would recommend R&D for sewer work and excavation.

Excellent service, professional and trustworthy. Not only did K&D's bid come in over $8,000 cheaper than Harts, from 20k down to 12k, after the job was completed my client received a new invoice for over $3500.00 less than original bid because he was able to complete the repair a less expensive way and do it quickly so my client could close her home on time. I manage a 12 unit apartment building and we had a sewer line break/blockage causing sewage back up in some units. Yuck!
Robert was referred to me by the rooter guy. He came out quickly and gave me a reasonable bid that was clear and complete.
I was so impressed with his knowledge and manner that I canceled the other bids and only two days later, the replacement sewer line work was finished, quickly and professionally. I am very pleased with this company and grateful for Robert's prompt attention to our problem which could have been so much worse if I had had to wait days for a repair. He is easy to work with and communicates well, always important when it is necessary to keep tenants informed. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. R And D construction is does great work for a very reasonable and competitive price. I had my side sewer replaced. Robert came out took a look at the sewer, knew exactly what needed to be done. Gave me an estimate told me he could do the work in a day. He was true to his word showed up that day at the time he gave me and got the work done.

Robert and his crew did an excellent job connecting us to the city sewer. Their bid was great and their work great, too. They did the job quickly and even cleaned up after themselves, too! Recently had R&D do some sewer work for me. The owner Robert Ayers was very good to work with. Very competitive bid, no fluff approach to just getting the work done and done right for long term. I would definitely recommend the R&D construction company.

We bought a house in Tacoma and of course the sewer line was beyond its life. We called several contractors. Some never called back, others came in and just shot a high number and left. Robert's team came out took a lot of time with us to explain the different types of pipe we had and gave us the most cost effective solution that wouldn't tear up the entire yard. When it came time to do the work, they showed up and complete the job ontime and with great professionalism. We had a couple questions after and Robert was quick to answer and address our questions. I would highly recommend R&D they provide a level of customer service second to none and the their work product is Solid (Sorry bad pun).
