G&R did truly excellent work on our new backyard water feature. They showed up on time, designed and installed what we were looking for, and then cleaned up and left the area looking immaculate. Pascual is a highly skilled and professional landscaper and I highly recommend his company.

Pascual did a fantastic job building our patio. He offered thoughtful suggestions not only about the patio itself, but about other DIY projects in conjunction with the completion of his work. I would definitely recommend and use him in the future.

We have used Father Nature Landscaping twice this year. We were so pleased by the work they did in the spring we hired them again to do an extension of the project. They installed two terraced retaining walls and the walls are stunning.

The work crew knew what they were doing worked hard, worked efficiently, and were very professional. From estimate to completed project we are pleased with Father Nature Landscaping.

Working with Father Nature on my project has been amazing. My backyard was really in a sad state, as the previous owner of my home had neglected it pretty severely and it needed a lot of attention. Bruno was really a fantastic designer to work with, had a lot of really good ideas and understood what I wanted and how to make the yard work for what I need. Joe and the team of guys were great, as well- the work looks fabulous and I could not be more pleased! There wasn't one thing that they didn't think of. I can't wait to spend time out there this summer. It's amazing how much something like a new backyard can change your whole life- I can not say enough good things! Everyone there was awesome to work with, and I will definitely use Father Nature again for any other projects.

Working with Father Nature was easy. We have a back yard that can easily get out of hand and needed some repairs to stairs, fences and terraces. Chris came to look at the job and quickly provided us a commonsense plan. The job was scheduled to take 5 days, but the hardworking crew completed it in 4 days. I will totally call Father Nature again when outdoor work is required.

The positive feelings about this business started at the estimation meeting with Chris. He arrived promptly and was a careful listener, giving his own ideas as well. The estimation arrived that afternoon with the assurance that my customer satisfaction with the job was a priority, and it remained so through completion.

The work crews arrived on time and were careful about doing a great quality job and cleaned up the site before leaving for the day. Either Chris or his site manager, James, came out to inspect work regularly. Work was completed in promised time. The crew addressed drainage issues, soil amending, lighting, making a vegetable garden area, irrigation and building stairs to make it easier to access a high garden area. They built an attractive rock wall to terrace the garden and blocked area under fence to prevent week growth and erosion.

I am pleased with the results. Again, great care to please customer. Quick response to customer questions or concerns. Flexibility to adapt to new requests. Without any hesitation I would recommend this business for your landscaping needs.

We had a steep, untamed slope in front of our house. Father Nature was able to turn my idea of 3-4 retaining walls and stone steps into reality; creating a very visual appealing hillside, while also strengthening it to help prevent erosion concerns. We have had nothing but complements about our project from neighbors and strangers that pass by. Everyone we encountered at Father Nature was a true professional, and I can’t say enough about the crew that performed the work at our house. They were incredibly hardworking, courteous and perfectionists. When you hire a contractor, you hope you get someone who will build your project like you believe they would build something at their own house-that’s the way I feel about Father Nature and our project. Thank you!

Father Nature and their whole crew truly transformed our backyard. Due to the extensive work to be done, the rejuvenation required approximately five days of tough work by an extremely experienced and talented crew. We were in very good hands from the start; the craftsmen powered through with fantastic results! We couldn't be more pleased!

We originally sought out Father Nature Landscaping to design around a swim spa that we were going to have installed for landscape & hardscape.

From the timeline expectation (From start to finish approx. 2 years) We had to reach out to the company consistently for updated timelines on the project.The company has also poor communication amongst each other, Which caused even further delays. Working with James for a project manager. We appreciated his candor and usual responsiveness in the beginning. Although it wasn’t uncommon for a whole month to go by with multiple unanswered emails.

There was minor issues continuously, some of the major included:

*The Design. Our designer was Bruno, who did a good enough job (and I say this with a positive tone, we sent Father Nature a swim spa .pdf installation guide, so he could design around the specs) While his design was very nice, during the execution of it, modifications had to be made for functionality AND safety. We found their 3d computer rendering imaging pretty deceptive.
The biggest issue here was a lot of confusion around clearance pertaining to the swim spa. (Although it was stated in the .pdf)

*Our sales manager was Cameron. Concerning the cost proposal, We were shocked to spend tens of thousands more as not everything was included. While unforeseen circumstances happen, Cameron (who presented our proposal) was not detail orientated when it came to outlining what we will need to pay for to have the backyard that was proposed.
Some example: Concrete base pad for the swim spa, Trenches dug, Gas line, Seating/bar area, Lighting package- some path lights were installed instead of uprights, There was
Not ENOUGH lights proposed, as they did not measure it out-leaving the south side of our yard in the dark.
Cameron did attempt to amend some of this pricing and acknowledged our frustration. He did add an additional 12 inches of fence for free (To mimic the 3d rendering image they presented)

*Concrete work that the average eye would question and professionals would call embarrassing. Measurements that are off with an uneven result. Not smooth.

*The work team was lead by Oscar, who we didn’t have arising issues with. He is friendly, approachable and kept communication open while him and his team executed the project. There were days the work team was pulled away from our job to finish up other pending jobs, although I don’t fault Oscar in that.

*Our plants arrived earlier than the the work team were able to plant them-leaving myself to have to unexpectatily care for them.
We also did have to utilize their plant replacement policy. We were initially told one year, but when we reached out, they said it was only a six month warranty. (Not ideal when these are planted fall, and some of these plants won’t show until the following summer time.)
A a few did not make it, including a cypress tree. We did get them replaced, but there was concern the tree didn’t get enough water. (Did I mention FN did our irrigation???!)

*May 2022 The irrigation was not connected. I reached out to Father Nature to fix it. Luciano was one of the guys who did the original wiring in the fall but then we were introduced to Carl, who came back out to fix.

*The seating area. The concrete walls had holes in it and didn’t have a “finished” look. Not being contractors ourselves, what we had to go by was that Beautiful 3d Rendering image plus the proposal stating: “smooth finish on exposed areas”.
Asking Cameron and Carrie about this type of look, they stated that the holes mean we have “strong walls” and it was suggested we could have an epoxy paint on there for a more finished look. It was also suggested we do a “back splash”. We decided to go forward with that. Father nature did some brief amending on this pricing, but it was still thousands more-another unexpected cost.

*Dec 2022 we sought out to requested a final bill from them as they went dark again. When the final invoice was sent, we noticed some of their service descriptions were not accurate.

We do not recommend.

We contacted Father Nature for a "make over" for our landscaping. Bruno contacted us and set up an appointment. Very knowledgeable and professional. Excellent design and worked within our budget. Punctual with appointments.
The landscape crew, led by Oscar, were polite and efficient. I appreciate the care they took to clean up after themselves each day and the final clean up was excellent.
I highly recommend them and will use again for my next project. (The back yard.)

This is the landscaping and design contractor you have been looking for. Exceptionally responsive right from the first call all the way through to the final project walk on completion. The level or project management was exceptional and I was always in the know of what was going on. Bruno has an exceptional way of guiding you through the design process based on your space, concept and what he knows will work. The installation team (Oscar, Levi, Joaquin) paid exceptional attention to detail. This means everything was measured and leveled and true. They showed up everyday on time ready to execute. Oscar led the crew daily and Bruno came by everyday to ensure I was happy and the crew had what they needed. The cost is very reasonable and the quality of the work exceeds the cost. They finished the project ahead of schedule even with the 4 change orders we did to add on. Clean up on the final day was excellent as was the final project walk through. They even did what I assume was a final project debrief at the end of the day.

With Father Nature Landscaping you get more than what you pay for. Do it right the first time by hiring them and you’ll have the final finished landscape that you’ve seen on tv and in magazines.

They deserve every project they get, they are cut from a different cloth as a contractor. Very high level and professional the entire time.

From our first meeting with Bruno, during which he added fabulously creative ideas to our vague plans, our experience with Father Nature Landscapes has been nothing short of fantastic. Every member of the crew - Oscar, Levi, Joaquin, Manuel and Daniel - was professional, great to work with and did marvelous work. The resulting fence, patio, & retaining wall are all so much nicer than we'd ever hoped for. And thanks to Bruno's way of breaking down the job into components we could pick and choose from as we saw what fit into our budget, we both have wonderful spaces to enjoy now, and dreams of future expansions. And trust us, any expansions will include Father Nature!

We've used Father Nature for three projects now, and every time they have been fantastic to work with. Carl did a great job on our sprinkler system, and we highly recommend this company.

Chris and his team have been a joy to work with. We have a very large and quirky back yard that is in need of an overhaul in several phases. We are through a couple of the phases now and look forward to completing the project with Father Nature.

Chris is so easy to work with--he is extremely responsive via phone and email and he always offers options and practical suggestions for the long-term viability of projects. His team (particularly Jose) does awesome work!

Father Nature Landscaping replaced my old driveway beautifully, as well as efficiently. I'm so satisfied with their work, I'm a repeat customer for other projects.

We had a really great experience using Father Nature Landscapes to redo a bulkhead, lay brick and gravel for a patio and remove old shrubs. I worked with Bruno to develop a design. He was very courteous, super professional and communicated all aspects of the project along the way. The crew worked very hard and cleaned up so well. The final product is awesome and we will gladly work with them all again when we have another landscaping need.

We couldn't be happier with our project completed by Father Nature from beginning to end. Bruno was diligent in getting our back yard completed in time for an outdoor party. Miguel and his crew were incredibly respectful and so hard working. They left our space clean and safe for our six year old each night and over the weekends. They reached out for input often and communicated so clearly each time we deviated from the original design. Joe was the Project Manager on our job and was so helpful and honest when discussing pros and cons of each decision we made. Even up until the last hour of the job Joe offered suggestions for our design that he knew would be beneficial in the years to come. Communication with Chris the owner was always welcome and pleasant. Father Nature really exceeded our expectations from beginning to end! Thank you!
