Constraction reviews in Tukwila, Washington

FDC Construction replaced windows at my house just now. The results are outstanding, Viorel (the owner) was personally inspecting the site multiple times and workers are amazing people and have great personality. The quality of work and overall process is amazing. I cannot recommend those guys enough.

FDC Construction delivered high-quality work with professionalism and attention to detail. The team was reliable, organized, and completed the project on schedule. Great communication throughout the process. Highly recommended.

After talking to a few contractors about building a deck and patio cover, we decided to go with Doron because he seemed the most straightforward and knowledgeable.
He delivered exactly what he promised. The deck is solid, well-built, and looks great, and the patio cover made a huge difference — we can finally enjoy the space even when it rains.
What I appreciated most was the communication. Anytime we had a question, we got a clear answer right away. No runaround, no confusion. Just a smooth experience overall. -
Bill,Louis, and and Chromie are awesome.Quality construction and done on schedule, and budget

Let’s be honest…remodeling isn’t fun but Ruslan and his crew were honest and wonderful to work with. The craftsmanship was hands down impressive and came out beautifully executed. If I was ever to do another project Ruslan would be the first person I would call.

The hardest part about hiring anyone, especially contractors, is knowing who you can trust. Rus’s work is top notch. Never thought I’d use the words on time and on budget with any contractor, but Rus is the man. After having been through the absolute wringer with countless other contractors there’s only one guy I’ll ever call for a construction job again, that’s Rus.

We recently completed a home remodel with Complete Construction & Remodel, and I can honestly say this team exceeded every expectation we had. From the very first consultation that we had with the owner, Ruslan, to the final walk-through, their professionalism, communication, and attention to detail were outstanding.
They were incredibly organized and transparent throughout the entire process. Timelines were clearly outlined, and they stayed on schedule. Any questions we had were answered quickly and thoroughly, and we always felt informed and confident in the decisions being made. Their craftsmanship truly speaks for itself — every finish, from the cabinetry to the trim work, was done with precision and care.
What impressed us most was their commitment to quality. They didn’t cut corners, and they treated our home as if it were their own. The team was respectful, clean, and considerate, making what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable.
The final result is absolutely beautiful — even better than we envisioned. I still pinch myself that this is our home. We are beyond grateful for their hard work and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled, and trustworthy remodeling team. They delivered excellence in every way. We will ABSOLUTELY be using them in projects to come. -
Fair pricing. Quality, custom work. Anything we needed done, they were able to do. They finished on time and always kept in contact with us. I would definitely recommend.

Simply best store for home improvements... and construction work

Good

Hard to find somebody to help you. Misleading advertisements. Like: we install in 72 hours and told me 3 weeks.
-
There are getting better and materials, prices , but still need more work on personel
-
Large selection for your home needs. Shopping here is pretty decent, but getting installation and other service here is very time consuming and the customer service for it is quite awful. Some workers are very helpful while others could care less about your needs.

Great store with excellent customer service especially at the kitchen cabinets area. Emmy was really helpful in selecting and ordering cabinets.

I Would like to share my experience with the At home service from Homedepot getting a sliding glass patio door installed. I went into homedepot to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get a new patio door installed. An employee helped me to the area and tried to find someone in the door department to assist me. With no luck, she entered my information into the system as best she could to set up an appointment for someone to come to my house for an estimate. After about 4 days passed and no response from homedepot I called the store. Its turns out I wasn’t in the system. No biggie, the woman tried to help even though she wasn’t familiar with the area/system.
After getting into the system correctly homedepot finally came to my house. Joe (not real employee name) came by and gave me an estimate for the patio door install. I told him that I would need to think about it overnight since it would cost $2,200. I called the next day and left a message telling Joe I wanted to go ahead and get the door. Another 3 days go by with no call back from joe, so I call him again. He didn’t answer, so I called the 800-homedepot number. Operator Steve (not his real name) answered and was able to “pull some strings” and Joe is now coming by in 3 days to finalize the install. Joe came back to my house for me to sign all the paperwork and to collect 25% as down payment to get the process started. He stated that it could be 2-4 weeks and to call some 1-800 number to get an update on the progress. **side note- I asked for a breakdown of what the $2,200 was paying for and was never given anything. the bill just said $2,029ish for door and install + tax**
20 days go by. I repeat! 20 days go by and I haven’t been contacted by anyone from homedepot. I call the 800-homedepot number and they gave me a regional managers number to call because my order was on hold. I called the manager and told him my story. He told me that I shouldn’t have had to call the 800 number or him. That homedepot should have called me to give updates on the install and that he would handle this. He called back an hour later and it turns out that there was a lead base paint form that need to be turn in, so the hold status could be taken off (Joe had filled it out, but forgot to submit it).
7 days later homedepot called me to schedule a time to have the door installed.
The contractor came on the scheduled date. They were on-time and very friendly. They got the install done a lot faster than I thought it would take. They cleaned up very well and took the old door and any other garbage from it. They couldn’t have done a better job. I was very impressed. Especially after dealing with homedepot.
In the end I got a patio door installed, but I had to micro-manage, baby sit, and pretty much beg homedepot to take my money. This was close to the worst customer service I have ever received. I will never suggest anyone use the homedepot install service. -
I used to love shopping at home depot. But now I hate this store. The reason for it is installation of the Windows. Chad who works there came to my home in August July 2016. We signed an agreement to install expensive Home Depot brand windows with a life time warranty. In a month 2 Ukrainian guys came in to install the windows. I paid the whole sum outright. In September with Seattle rainy and stormy weather windows started leaking. There was A LOT of water on the carpet, drapes and the TV. My husband and I started calling home depot to come and fix it just about every day. A month later a guy finally came to our place after a million phone calls and stayed tat pa protective Pat of the window was not installed on any of the 3 windows. He gave me a report to sign and said that somebody will contact me shortly. We waited about 2 weeks - no calls. Since October 20, 2016my husband and I have been on the phone with many many people at home depot trying to arrange the repairs. They kept transferring our call from one person to another. Everybody wold say that they will call us back or say that they will set an appointment within the week. Now it is December 13th and they are still pushing us around. The rooms are wet and cold and there is mold forming on the inside of the wall. We decided to file a court order. Damage, inconvenience, hours we have spent trying to resolve it, being treated with no respect and waisting money on a bad product and service and not getting what we paid for on top of being angry and depressed about it all....PLEASE, PEOPLE, NEVER DEAL WITH HOME DEPOT INSTALLATION OR REPAIRS. THEY WILL SCREW YOU OVER. And I will see them in court.

they told us not to worry about off gassing from our closet install for our nursery. “even though it’s not greenguard certified, there will be minimal vocs”. i have never had any furniture from anywhere that had such a pungent offgassing smell.

I wanted to have my front door replaced. They sent someone out to measure and show me a few ideas in a catalog. He was going to get back to me with an estimate. Weeks went by...no estimate. I returned to the store looking for answers. More weeks went by. I returned to the store and complained to the manager who said he would get supervisors involved. After 6 weeks with still no estimate I complained to the home office in Atlanta. I never did get my estimate. I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION AGAIN. Absolutely horrible service and non-caring employees and supervisors

Both Cust Service Desk and the Pro Cust service were unable to print out a temporary slip so we can use our business credit card with them.
Nobody knew how to do it, we were first sent to pro desk, the lady at the Pro Cust service desk send us back to Customer service. Manager is nowhere to be found and we were very frustrated with how the whole situation was handled. We ended up paying with cash and having to return today, hauling all the equipment back and forth so we can use the benefits.
We are never going back to this location, nobody knows what they’re doing. Total chaos on a Monday afternoon. -
The entire team at Emerald City Energy was top notch. From Frank in sales, Rebeca in scheduling to Hansen and Cory who installed the windows.
Absolutely thrilled with my new windows. Even more impressed with the install Dream Team- courteous, efficient, and really skilled craftsman. (They replaced windows and made openings for new windows, including liner and trim.) -
Emerald City Energy Windows and Doors did an amazing job on our exterior front and back doors! They were able to quickly adapt to our older house and produce a great result
