Electrical reviews in Vancouver, Washington

We used Larry once about 4 years ago to help us find an issue we were having in the back of the house. He found it very quickly, fixed it and charged a very reasonable rate.

So, when we decided to add a sump pump that needed a dedicated power line to the crawl space, and some GFI's to our home there was NO DOUBT as to who we were going to call.

Larry didn't disappoint. He is a great guy, timely, efficient, honest, and clean. He got the job done and he did it right the first time. The county Electrical Inspector came by today and inspected his work and signed it off with praise for our electrician. We STRONGLY recommend Larry to anyone needed to add or correct electrical systems in their home. THANKS LARRY!

Absolutely wonderful work! We have lights!! Larry and Spencer showed up on time, walked the job and gave me an estimate of the work that we needed. They also vacuumed and took away ALL the trash, including the old fixtures. (they have a guy who will reuse or recycle the fixtures).

They are both very fast, efficient, and a pleasure to work with.

I would have given them 5 stars but I thought the price was high.

I highly recommend Absolute Electric.

I have known Larry for over 7 years and have used him as my "Go To" electrical company for both my personal and professional business (Real Estate Broker). As a journeyman he can provide quality and top knowledge for any and all electrical questions. I have used him personally for installation of upgrade to my panel for my recent generator purchase, and for upgrading my home smoke and Co2 detectors as they were hardwired. My clients have had the benefit of his experience and recommendation when purchasing their home. Fair, Honest and thoroughly Dependable he and his son Spencer provide full-service and goes way out of their way to meet the expectations for all customers. A definite source to keep in your phone contacts.

Our experience with Absolute Electric was great. Larry was friendly, professional, and hard working. He accomplished every task we asked of him on our kitchen renovation project and we couldn't be more pleased. He arrived promptly, and worked tirelessly until every job was done. Every outlet and light was installed perfectly. He was tidy while he worked, and he cleaned up before he left. He stayed true to his quote, and the price for the work was very reasonable. Highly recommended. We will go to Absolute Electric again, absolutely!!

We just recently bought a hot tub that required wiring. Absolute Electric was highly recommended by a tradesperson we respected.
That referral turned out to be spot-on. The service was great; starting with the courteous call staff and on to the skilled electrical work done by Spencer.
Pricing was fair and the estimate accurate. Permit was obtained.
The work was thorough, neat and done in a timely manner.
And clearly knowledgeable answers were given to all our questions.
We couldn’t be more pleased with this company. It was well done all the way around!

Larry and Spencer were so helpful in identifying our electrical problems and solving them in a professional and detailed manner. Their communication with us was superb, and we will definitely use their services and expertise going forward. Thanks guys, for making our experience such a positive one- good work!

Truly fantastic experience. Had an emergency where tenants’ 220 voltage appliances stopped working. Larry dispatched Spencer same day as luck would have it. Spencer found that the cables had been punctured in the past. He was able to fix the issue, got permitting, and had the city come out. Great communication. Photo documentation. Unprompted invoice sending afterward. Awesome to work with

Very responsive with quick and accurate quotes. Electrical work is not cheap but these guys are making it a lot less painful. Thank you for your professionalism!

Update: Had quite a bit of work done from these guys today and I couldn't have been more impressed. They were clean, efficient, no nonsense, workhorses. I had a new electrical panel installed, new grounding rods, conduit and wires rerun, as well as a dozen or so GFI outlets installed. they essentially fixed all of the electrical problems in a remodeled house.

I will definitely be using them again!

Larry has been my go-to electrician for multiple properties in the Vancouver area for 6 years now. He is always quick to respond, his prices are fair, and he does excellent work. Most recently, there was an emergency situation at my rental property where we needed a new electrical panel immediately. Larry and Spencer were able to get to fit the project into their schedule right away. Even my tenants were impressed by how great it was working with Larry and Spencer. They were prompt, friendly, they did great work, and were so easy to work with.

Larry and Spencer did an excellent job, they went above and beyond installing a whole new panel, we feel 100% safer now. When asked about living room lighting they recommended new ultra thin flush down lights in our living room, which we had them install and are very happy, they completely changed the lighting and ambiance in that room. I can't believe the difference nor that we have went that many years with just a lamp and in darkness it seems! VERY Professional from start to finish and very helpful when asked about other issues/upgrades that I can do in the future. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

We were very pleased with Spencer and Absolute Electric in a recent project. Spencer took great pains to ensure our needs were met, and Larry's personal attention was very much appreciated. We will call them again when needed, for sure!

We've used absolute electric for all of our electrical needs over the past 7 years. Every single time they come out we are impressed by their work. We've had a ton of work done around the house - from upgrading the electrical panel, to adding lights, to replacing fans. All of it has turned out well, been permitted correctly, and been priced fairly.

I would strongly recommend working with them.

Had a great experience working with Dima at Expert Smart Homes here in Vancouver. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about home automation and was a huge help throughout my project. Beyond that, he’s just a genuinely great person to work with and someone you enjoy having around while the work is getting done.

He was very flexible with the scope and timing of the project, and I really appreciated how thoughtful he was about future-proofing the system. He made sure the right foundation was in place so expanding and adding things later will be easy.

If you’re thinking about a smart home project and want someone who really understands how to integrate everything properly, I’d highly recommend Dima and Expert Smart Homes.

Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their home! Dima is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.

If you’re in the Portland Vancouver area, look no further if you’re trying to set up your home theater or smart system integrating. These guys helped me with automating my HVAC system, lights, and getting it all linked to my google account.

Except Smart Homes does great work! If you need security, network, or a smart home installed in Oregon City, this is the place to go!

Really great company! Expert Smart Homes helped me fix my slow WiFi and dead zones in the house. They also installed us a smart lock on the front door, and smart blinds, so I don't need to worry about opening and closing them every day :D
If you are looking for a smart home automation company in Vancover or Portland area - they have amazing customer service and do a great job!

I just had Expert Smart Homes install a security camera, new floodlights, and upgrade our Wi-Fi, and I’m extremely happy with how everything turned out. The camera gives us a smooth, clear view of the property, the floodlights make a huge difference at night, and our Wi-Fi now reaches every room — including the garage — without cutting out.

The whole process was easy and stress-free. They showed up on time, did clean, professional work, and walked us through how everything works before they left.

If you need security cameras, outdoor lighting, or better Wi-Fi in the Portland or Vancouver area, I definitely recommend Expert Smart Homes. Fair prices, solid work, and great service — we’ll use them again for sure!

Great place and does great work
