We've had Boyce Home Maintenance to our house twice in the past few years. They have helped with a plumbing problem and then an electrical issue. Fast and reliable. They are the only home repair service we use.

We hired Boyce Home Maintenance to install a modern floating vanity in our bathroom. Before the actual work took place, I emailed them to evaluate the job and to check if there were any additional items to consider that we were not aware of. Not only did they give us some feedback on the vanity to make sure it had all the features we were looking for (some items we overlooked) but gave a thorough explanation of everything they could do to help us.

After a time, we decided to go ahead with the job. Richard was the worker that came over to complete the job and we were thrilled with the quality, the professionalism, the kindness, and the overall experience.

We would absolutely work with Boyce Home Maintenance again and am really happy to find a reliable and local company to help us with our home.

They just helped us through big project to repair a burst water pipe within our wall that destroyed our kitchen floor and sons carpet. They needed to gut the kitchen to replace the hardwood and they helped us get the kitchen of our dreams. Their attention to detail is superb and we highly recommend them.

Robert and Joel worked quickly to fix many problems that arose at my workplace. And completed them in a timely manner. Both are very professional and answer any questions you may have. They are knowledgeable about various Improvement methods and strategies as well as general contracting and construction. We are keeping the guys from Boyce maintenance for all of our maintenance and honey do lists in our facility.

Robert arrived promptly to give us an estimate for a wheelchair ramp, and we found him to be very personable and knowledgeable. We liked him so much that we felt our search for an appropriate contractor was over. But now it is ten days later and we have not heard from Robert again. We never received the bid he promised "in a few days" and he has ignored my calls and emails. Robert White, owner of Boyce Home Maintenance, has been very unprofessional in his negligent treatment of a prospective client. We can only conclude he has no sense of integrity or respect for his customers, so you should steer clear of Robert and Boyce Home Maintenance, as they're not worth the headache.

Great work! Robert, owner, showed up on time, gave me a professional written bid, and had his crew schedule/do the work. His team , Joel and Kellan , removed the dry rot wood around all our five front windows on our home. Replaced the wood and repainted the front trim on the house. They showed great pride in a job well done.

Joel has been out on two occasions to our home and completed all the required tasks in a timely manner. He was friendly, time-efficient, and helpful throughout the process. I will contact Boyce Maintenance again when I have more work to be completed.

I’ll cut straight to it. These guys were great. Using Boyce Home Maintenance was a first rate experience all around. My initial email inquiry to Boyce was answered promptly and I had the opportunity to exchange several emails and photos of my project with Robert before any technicians arrived. Richard showed up on time and completed my vanity install in a neat and timely manner. He did an excellent job installing everything and suggested some things that I had not even thought of that resulted in a better finished product. He definitely seemed focused on doing the job right and making sure I was pleased. I will billed fairly for the services rendered. (I love that their pricing is clearly laid out on their website!) I will definitely be contacting them again in the future AND recommending Boyce to my friends. I was a little nervous contacting a handyman company I had no personal experience with and had only discovered using a Google search, but I’m so glad I did.

Custom project went better than expected, great communication throughout. Robert, Joel and Larry the Fabricator were a pleasure to work with.

Boyce is the best! They completed some difficult projects for us, including re-building our entire front porch - plus re-painted our house, shop and barn. Excellent workmanship - these guys are true craftsmen. Quick to answer emails, reasonably priced - and very very skilled. We'd call on them for any project, inside or out. Their teams were efficient and expert - thanks especially to Jimmy and Robert. We're completely happy with the results and give them our highest recommendation.

Chuck added shelves to my closet making it possible to organize my kid’s toys. He was efficient and thorough even with a toddler bugging him!

We were very disappointed with the lack of organization and lack of communication in working with Cross Home Construction. I needed to get my elderly mom’s house ready to sell, but I live a few hours away, so we trusted Cross Home Construction to do an entryway project for us. They came out in January and tore out some dry rot in the subfloor near the front door. They put down a piece of plywood and said they would be back to finish. Unfortunately, many months went by without any communication. My mom tried calling multiple times but to no avail. I finally intervened in the middle of the month of May by calling one of the sub-contractors of Cross Home and they finally helped me get through to them. After that, there were multiple delays in finishing the project, a day when the owner was sick and didn’t show up for work but he didn’t communicate that with us, and a final delay because they ran out of materials. Then, when I arrived at my mom’s house a couple weeks after they supposedly finished the project, I found some things unfinished – unpainted trim, unpainted siding, and a seam that was left looking ugly (see pictures below). When I asked the owner why things were unfinished, he told me that he had forgotten. He called it an “oversight” and he blamed it on his workers. Last, but not least, they said that they would reimburse me for the cost of finishing some of their work myself, but then a couple weeks later when I submitted the receipt, they decided not to reimburse us. That just added insult to injury. So, all in all, this was a very unpleasant experience for us during an already stressful situation of trying to get my mother moved out of her home. You would be best to stay away from this company.

I might be biased, because CHC is owned by my father, but I’ve been watching his team work all my life. Use Cross Home Construction if you want to do business with a company that has a real understanding and education on how to get the job done in a professional, personable and systematic way. Work with someone that will work with you to find a solution that you didn’t even know was possible.

Our first project was to remove the kitchen ceiling "space ship" lighting. The change was amazing. I very much appreciated the attention to getting that sheet rock dust out the kitchen window using a high powered fan!!! All the work was done while we were away. Beautiful new canned lighting that has the dimming feature.

Second project was creating a fantastic laundry room and making the former laundry area into floor to ceiling cabinets. Again, all the work is great. You would have to see to appreciate it!

Josh installed a new water heater for us and he did everything he needed to do for mitigating the issues that arose with the new hybrid type water heater installation. Bottom line the installation passed county inspection and, as I write this, thinking about other projects Josh can help us with.
