Mike of Prestige Construction and home remodeling did a great job with our home repairs. They replaced insulation, dry wall, sub flooring and laid laminate and paint the room back as well.

When we first called Prestige, we were at our wit's end following a bad experience with a previous contractor, but Mike and James swooped in and saved the day! They immediately assessed the situation in our home, identified what still needed to be done, and had a gameplan ready within hours of our fist meeting. It was a tall order: the kitchen counters and backsplash needed to be completely re-done, nearly the entire second level needed flooring installed, five rooms needed trim and doors installed, the stairs needed to be sanded and have flooring installed, a bathroom vanity still needed a countertop, the list goes on. Mike was always upfront about costs and consistently kept us updated on the timeline. He was well informed and well networked and handled all the communication with necessary subcontractors and material salespeople.

The quality of the workmanship Prestige Construction provided was outstanding; they're real perfectionists and it quickly became clear that when they said "I do the work the way I would want it done in my own home", they truly meant it. They were punctual and respectful when in our home, mindful of noise levels, and put extra effort into keeping our home clean while they worked.

Mike and James are true professionals and I can't overstate what a pleasure it was to work with them. They charged a fair price from the outset, and now that the project is done, I can say with confidence that it was completely worth the final cost! They will definitely be the first and only people we call when we need any future work done on our home.

Mike and James showed up on time and despite the fact that it rained hard at times did great job. We were in the demolition phase of replacing the shower in the primary bedroom when it was discovered that the grout of the tiles on the outside wall leaked. The major drawback was the aluminum siding on the outside. When presented with the situation, Mike didn't bat an eye. He said that he could handle the aluminum siding and replace the rotted interior. Did we want it the next day? He priced the job by the hour plus material. They worked straight through, and finished in 7hrs. Punctual, professional, and transparent, I would recommend Prestege Construction and Home Remodeling for any project you have in mind. (Pictures go from after to before)

We are ready to retire and needed to build a master suite on our daughter's house so my mother can live with her as we will be selling our house and traveling. We contacted many contractors and received 5 estimates. We went with Mike Cunningham and his company Prestige Construction and remodeling LLC and are very happy that we did. From the first meeting, we felt comfortable with Mike. His detailed estimate was very reasonable and covered all aspects of the build. Mike takes great pride in his work, and it shows in the beautiful finished master suite that we have. The communication throughout the entire buld was easy and on task. The cost was exactly as estimated, and the finish product was amazing. We would not hesitate to use Mike for any future construction or remodeling needs and highly recommend him and Prestige Construction and Remodeling LLC to anyone needing a contract for your home.

High quality work for a high price, and Mike is a nice guy overall. However, a lack of transparency and a few questionable decisions left me feeling lukewarm about the experience. I contracted Mike to put on new baseboards. We agreed he'd do it hourly for $200/hour, and I was clear about being cost sensitive, even cutting out the crown moulding I was hoping to get done to keep costs down. He and his partner were 15 minutes late—not a big deal on its own, but I still got charged for that time. The first thing he did was turn right back around and go to Lowe's for supplies, which I had expected him to do prior. He marked up the supply cost by at least 50%—my understanding is a ~20% markup is more standard—and made me pay for six extra 12-foot boards I didn't want or need. (That Lowes had individual 12-foot boards in stock, but he got all 8-packs for some reason even though he had all the measurements.) So I wish he'd offered to let me get the materials and save money.

Around ~2PM I checked on progress and the baseboards were all up and looking good, and they were just puttying/caulking/sanding. We had agreed to hourly and I had no problem doing that work myself, so I asked if they could wrap it up. Mike was insistent that they finish the day and I relented. He had told me their work day ended at 5PM. I was working in my office and wasn't aware they continued to work past 5, until 6PM, and when Mike finally closed out with me I was disappointed he charged me for the extra hour I was unaware I would be paying for work I'd told him I'd prefer to do myself.

As I mentioned, the work was high quality, good attention to detail and they did a great job cleaning up.

The next day I asked him to come fix something that my wife wanted done differently, and he offered a discounted rate of $150/hr—I guess knocking off the $50 I already paid him for the 15 minutes he wasn't there the morning before? I was glad for the discount, but the other decisions/charges still left me feeling less than positive.

The kicker for me is this: he asked several times for a 5-star review in person, and followed up with me for a 5-star review 3 times. That makes me confident his high rating is as much from the way he asks for reviews as it is from the quality of his work.

If you are looking for quality detailed oriented work, Mike from Prestige Construction and Home Remodeling is a fantastic option. We had a pre-hung front door that needed to be installed on our house and were given a variety of quotes from different contractors. Ultimately, I chose Prestige Construction and Home Remodeling because of Mike’s ability to identify nuances within the project that, when done properly, would ensure a long lasting and structurally sound result. I am happy with the final result and will consult with Mike on future project needs.

Mike the owner of Prestige Construction & Home Remodel repaired and restored some water damaged areas of two second story decks. From start to finish, I am 100% satisfied with his work, his clear communication, and his cost estimation accuracy.

Prestige Construction and Home Remodel has done a wonderful, professional job replacing my front door and sliding door, replaced siding on my house, both in back where I had some dry rot and currently removing the vinyl siding on the front and placing siding so I can paint my house. They also built me a perfect patio cover in my backyard. A few windows have been replaced which was such an improvement on my 26 yo home, I decided to have them change out all the remaining windows. Mike, the owner of Prestige Construction and Home Remodeling is the owner. He has kept me updated on the progress of all things ordered, when they will be here to work, always showing up on time, high quality workmanship and is very kind and honest. His pricing is fair value for everything he has done for my home. Free estimates too!! I didn’t have to seek out another bid, I felt very confident his company was the one to do the job. I highly recommend.

I hired Mike/Prestige Construction to take on a siding and window replacement project for my 100 year old farm home. I hired him specifically to also repair any seen and unseen damage/dry rot etc. along the way. So far, he has addressed dry rot, ant infestation, leaky walls, crooked walls, installed new windows, new siding, etc. Needless to say, it has not been an easy or quick job. He has brought a lot of knowledge and skill to address and fix (or sub out) the issues and has done a great job of keeping me in the loop along the way. I find Mike to be meticulous in his work and I am very happy with the work so far. I plan to hire Prestige for some future projects after the current one is complete.

Mike was hired to remove a porch enclosure and build an addition in its place. He did a great job organizing the work and progressing at a steady pace until complete. I had him build the addition, side the whole house, replace all windows, coordinate the foundation construction and complete the inside including new kitchen cabinets, flooring, drywall and electrical / plumbing work. His performance is outstanding due to his attention to detail and perfectionist attitude. I had no issues with his work ethic. He wanted the best job he could do and he achieved that goal. I would highly recommend him for your next project big or small. I know I will call on him for any future work to be done.

We needed to have the siding replaced on our home and hired Prestige Construction & Home Remodeling for the project. Not only did they replace the siding, but they also ended up replacing our windows as well, which we already knew were nearing the end of their lifespan.
After discussing everything with Mike, the owner, when he came out to look at our project, he explained that replacing the windows at the same time as the siding would be more cost-effective than doing them later-since the siding around the windows would already be removed. He also helped us get a great discount on new Milgard windows, which were installed along with new Hardie plank siding.
Once we received the estimate, it was a no-brainer to move forward. We couldn’t be more pleased or satisfied with how everything turned out. Prestige Construction & Home Remodeling is a small and local family owned company that genuinely cares about homeowners wants and needs and truly goes the extra mile-not just for their clients.
We’ve had work done on our home by other local companies in the past, and the experience with Prestige Construction & Home Remodeling was night and day compared to the others. From start to finish, the communication, leadership skills, organization, and attention to detail were outstanding.

We hired Prestige Construction & Home Remodeling to do our new living room and kitchen addition and remodel project off the back of our home, and from day one we knew we had made the right choice. When the owner, Mike, came out to look at our project and provide an estimate, it was immediately clear that he was the right person and company for the job.
Mike took the time to answer all of our questions with honest, knowledgeable, and detailed explanations. He didn’t just show up, take a few measurements, and leave—he thoroughly walked us through how the entire project would go from start to finish. He was very detailed in reviewing the scope of work, taking notes, measurements, and gathering all the information needed to provide an accurate and reasonable estimate.

I had them replace my worn out floors in both bathrooms and laundry room. The material he used is perfect. Left my house clean and professional.
The reason for a 4 star is accounting. I told them not to exceed an amount. I was then more or less talked into being billed by the hour with a emphasis on it will most likely be cheaper. I will never do a job with anyone by the hour again. Please get a estimate to avoid what I went through,

Greg Downey did a great job extending my carport for me. Although the cost was prohibitive to match with the older carport already in existence, he did a great job matching at a lower cost for me and within my budget. Thanks Greg (and his 'apprentice' Kayleigh)!!

I needed some repair work done recently on a mobile home and met with "Greg Downey" to get some bids and ideas for enclosing a deck to make it a Catio. He was Friendly, Professional, Reliable and Fair priced. He is easy to work with and I was very satisfied with the quality of his work. I think the deck turned out great and I highly recommend him.

I hired Vancouver Remodeling Contractors to remodel my kitchen for me. Working with them has far exceeded my expectations! They are punctual, honest, always return my calls, and do phenomenal work. When we got going on my project we discovered extensive drywall damage as well as a very unlevel floor. They had great suggestions for fixing all of these problems while keeping the impact to my budget very minimal. I couldn’t be happier with my new kitchen and have already recommended them to several of my friends too.

Besides being really happy with not only the work that Greg at Remodeling Contractor Vancouver has done for a number of investment projects. I am very happy with the professionalism, communication and responsiveness generally missing in the construction industry.

Greg has helped me with a basement water intrusion issue that was an huge pain to track down and resolve. He's also done extensive work helping me with complete remodels and some partials like kitchens and baths, decks, and other various projects.

From the first meeting through out the project Greg was so easy to work with. He took the time to make reasonable suggestions and explained why these needed to be done. I would suggest that if you need a good contractor to do your project correctly you give Greg a call. I am glad we did. I found Greg to be very skilled at his craft. Making sure corners on my baseboards and counters fit, not just put down. The flooring around my fire place looks like it is under it and not filled with caulking or covered up with some tacky trim.
