Nothing but positive. Jonathan communicated in timely fashion, showed up when he said he would, and did all the work efficiently with no mess left behind. We had 5 large sweet gums removed and 3 large cedar trees pruned from over our roof. Jonathan works quickly, efficiently, and thoroughly. We are super happy with his work and will likely hire him again for future work needed at our house. I wish more contractors had his work ethic!

We are extremely satisfied with the work Vancouver Tree Specialists completed on our property. We had some large arborvitae’s that were overgrown and splitting at the top. Jonathan was quick to give an honest and fair estimate along with some education to keep our trees looking their best. He completed said work quickly and efficiently. Our yard is looking it’s best again thanks to this company. Will not hesitate to hire again for other arborist needs.

Worked in Vancouver and removed 3 trees in less than 2 hours. Jonathan and his partner communicated their anticipated arrival time the day before and during the day. Crew was on time, polite, respectful, easy to talk to, professional, just a good hard working team. Jonathan’s cost reflects his efficiency and quality. He did not try and over bid me, unlike one company willing to charge $3500 to remove three dinky trees. Hire LOCAL Experts!!

For several years, I tried several different tree trimming companies and was somewhat satisfied with the work completed. My neighbor was using Vancouver Tree Specialists and I decided to give this company a try. The owner, Jonathan, is an experienced arborist who also is the person who does all the work. Jonathan is exceptional in his skills and has an in-depth knowledge of trees & shrubs. He always arrives on time and has done the best job I have seen by any other tree trimming company.

Since Jonathan is both the owner and worker, communication about the details of the job streamlines what other tree companies have in place. Larger tree trimming companies have a multi-step process where an estimation is done, a work order is generated/scheduled and then a crew comes out and fulfills the notes on work order. The details of what was initially communicated can get lost in this multi-step process and I have experienced this first hand.

I called Vancouver Tree Specialists, Jonathan came to give me estimate. He was very professional and knowledgeable, skilled and very fair price to remove large maple tree in my backyard that close to the fence and to our roof and it’s very concerning because of potential/threatening damage of our property. Jonathan and his crew showed up on time on the scheduled date and did professional Job! I couldn’t be happier after that. Thank you!

Jonathan Thomas of Vancouver Tree Specialists was very prompt in both the bid and conducting the service. He communicated when he would show up, updated us that morning, and then he showed up exactly on time. He did the work promptly and cleaned up very well. It was a very professional job. He used plywood planks to protect our lawn when moving the wood out of our yard and blew and raked up leaving the area clean.

These very kind men did a great job cutting a big dead limb off a tree that was hanging over my new deck cover. They also cut some overgrowth off while they were up there, opened up the canopy and cleaned up some arborvitae and another Leland spruce. They hauled everything away and my yard is so clean you’d never know they were there. I was charged a very fair price, communication was perfect, the guys were easy going enough that I didn’t feel like I had to even be there. So I wasn’t. They did exactly what they said they’d do. I’ve already hired them for another job in fall when the leaves fall. Highly recommended.

Jonathan of Vancouver Tree Specialists did an outstanding job of pruning and trimming a 25 year old Japanese maple away from our house. It looks much better now, with a nicely-shaped tree canopy. We highly recommend this company!

Jonathan, came to our house same day I had called him and gave a great quote for the removal of 3 trees. Scheduled us within 2 weeks and had all the trees cut down and removed within 2 days…in the pouring rain… those guys were troopers. Great work all around and would definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a quick and efficient tree removal. 10/10

We had a wonderful experience working with Jonathan at Vancouver Tree Specialists. He and his team were very professional throughout the whole process from bids to final payment. Jonathan was patient as we asked a lot of questions, and even made time to come answer my husbands questions (he wasn't here during the initial bid visit). Jonathan and his team did a great job with trimming/pruning multiple areas in our yard. It was a huge job, and we are very pleased with the results. The day of the work started with a walk around to talk about each section they would be working on, and at the end of the day everything was complete and the cleanup was very thorough. We will definitely work with Vancouver Tree Specialists in the future when needed. They treated our yard with a lot of care and attention to detail.

Jonathan with Vancouver Tree Specialists does outstanding work. Shows up on time with a very fair bid, cleans up after work and is a great communicator. We had a large fir tree uproot during a windstorm a few weeks ago; The tree clipped a corner of our home; The tree needed to be removed before the repair work on our house could begin. Jonathan and Peter of Vancouver Tree Specialists answered our call and did a fantastic job with the tree--cut & chipped the limbs & cut up the trunk for us--a great clean-up! We were amazed and very grateful! Thank you, VTS! We highly recommend them!!

Jonathan and team did an excellent job taking out two trees close to our house and trimming up our big maple tree. They were fast and careful and did a great job with the cleanup. Will use them again in the future.

It was great working with Vancouver Tree Specialists! Not only is Johnathon thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and kind...he offers the best price in town (based on multiple estimates). I highly recommend! My trees look great, he cut many limbs off my 3 big pines, now I can move into winter worry free that a falling limb will damage my roof (or the neighbor's). They also did a great job with cleanup after, no damage to my existing landscape, and you can hardly tell they were here!

Jonathan and his team removed a 65 foot tall tree from my backyard. They worked at full speed from 7:30 to 4:30 to complete the job. Very reasonable cost. And they’re very pleasant people!
