I have been using them for a lot of years and well pleased with the work they do.

In times of marked-up prices and poor service, Scmidt landscaping provides 10/10 service at a very reasonable price.
We had new trees planted and the landscape designed and have nothing but positive to say about this business.

We found Schmidt Landscape Services fourteen years ago when we first moved to New Glarus. We're so grateful we did. Our house was a new build in a former cornfield so we were starting almost from scratch with landscaping. Eric and Tylor installed trees, hardscapes, water features, flagstone courtyards, a terraced vegetable garden, and more shrubs and plants than we could possibly count. They also provided mulching and lawn care services. With each project over many years, their expertise, precision, excellent customer service, and reasonable prices never ceased to impress. If we could convince Schmidt Landscape Services to travel to England, we wouldn't hesitate to place our new home in their capable hands. This company is now the gold standard by which we will judge all other landscape businesses. We wish them continued success. Highly recommended.

Recently we hired Schmidt to give our front lawn a facelift. After losing two majestic oaks to old age, the front of our house looked a bit forlorn. To remedy the less than charming aesthetic, Eric designed a few rock gardens incorporating existing our trees and shrubs as well as recommending a low maintenance sod to replace all that creeping charlie. The result is wow and we can't wait to see it in the spring! The work was done efficiently, on time, and it was nice to have the upbeat crew around. Thanks to Schmidt and company for the new look and an all around smooth experience.

I had a great experience with Schmidt Landscape. Did an overhaul or entire yard with hardscaping and plantings. They were very responsive and started the job right on schedule. They were very flexible as I had to coordinate with both fence and concrete contractors. They communicated well when we came across issues and came up with solutions well as working with my feedback on changes. Had a great experience and would recommend them highly.

Quality work by friendly people with integrity! They installed a patio for us and clearly did the foundational work to ensure a high quality product. Willing to work with us when some design decisions didn't work out exactly as we planned. Also, a crew member accidentally nicked our wooden gate with his Bobcat, which we brushed off (it happens!). They came back and fixed the issue at no cost to us, and now it looks better than it did before! This team exceeded our expectations, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. The staff is very experienced. They spend alot of time making sure customers are happy with their end product. Also the staff and management are very courteous. All around a good experience.

We had a great experience with Schmidt Landscaping. They helped us with a severe water drainage issue, replaced a sinking patio and replaced some beds and grass that were dug up to fix the water issues. The patio is beautiful and the water issues have been expertly solved (which I wasn’t even sure would be possible). They are personable and happy to work with you to make sure the plan and the final product are perfect. All of our neighbors commented on how hard working they are. I will definitely use them again.

Bryan and his crew did an amazing job at helping make our dream patio a reality. His crew showed up ready to work and only took a couple days to complete the job! The project is a 20' fire pit area w/ 5' fire ring and a 12'x12' pad for a future pavilion. We were able to enjoy our new fire pit all summer! Thanks again Bryan!

My husband and I hired BadgerScape to landscape our newly built home during Spring/Summer 2019. Bryan and his crew did a great job and we are very pleased with the results of the project. We had heard stories about other landscapers who failed to show up as promised once contracted and in some cases, refused to return calls or messages once the down payment had been made. That was not our experience with Bryan. He told us his timeline and he adhered to that timeline, despite some very challenging weather conditions and many changes we made to the original plan. We chose to use Curb Appeal for landscape borders and Bryan was very willing to coordinate and work with them to accomplish our project on schedule and to our satisfaction. Bryan’s crew exhibited a serious and professional work ethic. They were all friendly, polite and respectful. We plan to use Bryan and BadgerScape when we decide to complete the second phase of our landscaping in a year or two. Thank you!

Badgerscape Design and Landscape just finished a project in my front and side yard this month. It looks fantastic - all the neighbors keep complimenting us. They were super easy to work with and very helpful with ideas. Communication was quick and I really enjoyed working with them!

Highly recommend Bryan Rutkowski and his team at BadgerScape. Had a small project that previous contractor could not complete on time. Bryan was able to fit us in-although it was a very busy time. He and his team completed the project on time and at price quoted. He was communicative, responsive, conscientious, accessible, and responsible. He honors his word and his work-we hope to have BadgerScape again on future projects.

Badgerscape did an amazing job repairing our landscape walls. They removed the old stones and rebuilt the walls with new stone. Then they filled in with mulch and more rock. It looks amazing and would highly recommend their company !
