I recently had 4 team workers from The Maids come out and clean my apartment. ALL were outstanding!
An A+ (100%) for all 4 workers.

I will go a step further and give Benjamin an A+++!! He was industrious, speedy, professional, thorough, an excellent organizer, and cheerful. He did the refrigerator and kitchen. They just SPARKLED. I have had maid service in Madison and Houston for many years, and never had such an excellent job done on the refrigerator. Benjamin was/is THE BEST!! He was so accommodating and really wanted to please.

The lady who did the bathroom was quiet and may not have spoken much English. I didn't actually see her working. But when I reviewed her results, I realized her work was ABSOLUTELY SUPERB!! In addition to the standard cleaning she cleaned a couple of soiled areas on the walls. She did an excellent and thoughtful job. I also want to give her my highest commendation!

This is the third time I have had this outfit to my apartment. They always do a fantastic job with the vacuuming which even includes the ceiling and ceiling fans. The worker this time was no exceptionn.
She did a PHENOMENAL job of vacuuming, which even included getting up kitty litter ingrained in the throw rugs. She didn't speak much Englishi but smiled a lot. She was a lovely lady and thoughtful organizer. I am most pleased with her work.

And finally there was Lourdes (Maria) the team leader. She was AWESOME!!! She spoke good English and translated for the other team members as needed. Her communication and cooperation were TOP
NOTCH! She was very congenial, and did excellent work!

The workers for this outfit are often immigrant. They are professional, industrious and very thoughtful! The team leader translates as needed. This time the four workers were Hispanic. My Spanish is very limited, but here is my Spanish summary salute: Muy Bien!!! MAGNIFICO!!!

I paid $299 for 85 minutes by these 4 workers. It was an excellent value in view of all the work they did, in my opinion! I will have them out again. And of course, I highly recommend them! THANK YOU!!

First time every having someone clean my home and it was great! They arrived during the expected window and worked from the moment they entered the house. Everything was spotless when they left! I was very impressed. This is the cleanest my house has ever been!

The Maids offer the best cleaning service I've ever hired. I started by hiring for a deep clean and continued on with twice monthly standard cleanings.
Even their standard cleanings are better than deep cleanings by other companies I've hired.
I can't imagine ever using a different company!

Used the Maids of Madison this week to deep clean the house we have moved out of before we put it on the market. My realtor had suggested them as one of their other clients had used them earlier.

I have to say that I didn't have a good experience and was a little disappointed by the service. They were sending a team of 5 cleaners so I put a cap of 2 hours for cleaning as I thought that 10 person-hours will be sufficient to clean an empty house (5BR, 3.5 Bath). As it turns out, I totally underestimated the time it takes to deep-clean a house. With 10-person hours, the cleaning team was not able to do some of the basic things like deep cleaning the cabinet doors, light fixtures, wash countertops, washing the kitchen floors, and do all bathrooms. They did do a good job deep cleaning the refrigerator which needed a lot of work.

Since I am not their regular customer and was using the service for just a one-time clean-up, I was not expecting much and was not going to call back. I did get a call from them the next day to follow-up, which was really good. The person on the phone was appreciative of my concern and initially offered to come take a look but later talked to her manager and told that they could come back and clean again but I will have to pay again.

My realtor did a walk-thru of the house with me and pointed out the work not being of quality and what she also expected with 10-person hours of cleaning. That confirmed for me that it was not an unrealistic expectation on my part and it truly was a service issue. I now plan to call my regular cleaning lady and have her spend a couple of hours in the house before I put in on the market.

Hired the maids for a move out clean of our condo. Scheduled right away, Great result, great value and experience.

They are amazing! The house looks perfect. It's a wonderful feeling having my entire house clean. Even my husband commented what a good job they did!

The Maids Blue Team just left my home and they all worked very hard the entire time they were here. I requested a deep clean and my house looks great. They had to clean around a lot of stuff on tables and cabinets but they did it well. It's such a great feeling to have a clean house! I'd like to know if tipping is accepted?

Absolutely horrible experience, would give a 0 star if I could. Scheduled The Maids for move-in deep clean, and had we not seen them come through the door ourselves, we would not have believed they even came. Left the place exactly how it was, still dirty (see attached images as to how they left the unit).

Reached to owner for remedy, did not get back to me so did a charge back through my credit card company. Owner then RECHARGED ME THE ENTIRE AMOUNT for a visit I did not schedule, and will not take my phone calls. Avoid at all costs, will be reaching out to Fitchburg Chamber to let them know a business in their community is operating this way.

Paul, thanks for your prompt response on here (even though you have not returned any of my 7 phone calls since the cleaning on 4/14.) Clearly a negative review is the only way I can get in contact with you personally.

Obviously you didn't see the images below - that is dust, dirt, and CLUMPS OF CAT HAIR coming up in places that should have been cleaned. Showers were not cleaned either.

I told Jane I was highly dissatisfied (hence a 1 star review, glad you are resorting to blatantly lying to save face on Google saying "I loved the clean"), and have already elevated this to corporate.

Please give me a call back, would much appreciate to chat about this via phone and come to a solution. Cheers!

Based on my personal experience, I would not use The Maids of Madison again.

During a routine service, a company vehicle backed into my car while exiting my property. At the time of the incident, I did not receive insurance information.

I attempted to resolve the matter directly with the business over the course of several months but did not reach a resolution. In my experience, communication with ownership was difficult, and my outreach efforts were unsuccessful.

After evaluation by both an auto body shop and my insurance provider, my vehicle was deemed a total loss and had to be replaced.

The incident occurred in August 2025, and as of January 2026, the matter remained unresolved. This review reflects my personal experience as a customer.

The Maids team deep cleaned our condo after a 10-day visit of our young grandchildren. A team of 4 employees came and took great care to clean our entire home. They work hard, are all well trained, have the right equipment and supplies , and are always accommodating and polite. They are the best cleaning service if you are picky about how things are done. Floors, cupboards, surfaces always shine. Fans are dusted, corners are cleaned. Thank you!

Been with the Maids in Madison for over a year and have had a quality experience. They’re consistently good and anytime something has been missed, they’ve made it right either the same day or within the next day or two. The franchise owner, Paul, is extremely respectful and easy to work with, and the team is always kind and friendly. We had tried a different company previously and didn’t have near as positive an experience. I can definitely say that we recommend The Maids in Dane County!

We’ve had The Maids coming once a month for about 10 years now, and they always do an amazing job. They truly do it all—cleaning the floors and carpets, leaving the kitchen and bathrooms spotless, making our beds from scratch, and keeping everything organized. The Blue Team came yesterday and did an especially great job. Highly recommend The Maids!
