They came out to remove about 60ft x 10ft of buckthorn and stumps. Got it all out with some machinery and then mulched the area thoroughly. Great job folks!

Josh is always very helpful. He always returns my calls or texts if I have a question. As is all the other people that are there. I finally meet his father in law who i think started the business. Hid daughter has a thoughtful nickname for him. Great people. Give them a shot

When I injured my back shoveling during round 1 of this Jan 2024 blizzard, Wendland saved me big time and for a reasonable price. Very thankful for their service.

Went there because my 25 foot Maple tree has turned yellow this year. They told me it was because of the drought we had this year and they also told me that it was lacking Iron and Magnesium. Iron I bought and hand casted it around the drip line of the tree and the Magnesium I'll spray some Epsom Salts with a hose end sprayer around the tree also. Magnesium Sulfate is Epsom salt. Works great on other trees and plants. Probably won't see results till next year.

I had a great experience working with Liz and team. I had a very large garden space that needed to be updated with new plants, trees and shrubs. Liz supplied a sketch that we worked together on and the results were wonderful! The planting team came out and worked diligently to plant the garden plants, and provided suggestions on rock placement and care of the new plants. Five star operation there!

Super nice folks, but not very good communication. I appreciate the use of local kids to do work, but was left with a 3 try attempt at a 16 year old rebuilding my retaining wall, which still turned out pretty messed up. I had to re-assemble the top two rows and now have a bunch of half cut blocks which don't look very good (as the other half was made without cutting any blocks by the original homebuilders). They even managed to put a second delivery of bark on my bill as a second line item, when the line item above mentions not delivering a second load. Kind of a sh*t show in the office.

Also had no final walkthrough of the 3 days of work. They just kind of disappeared. Was not too happy about having to re-do or complete the work left undone after a $3600 price tag. Expected a little more. Happy to support local company, but would have been happier with better service.

Everyone we interacted with at our visit were so kind and professional! As a budding gardener there is much I don’t know and they were able to answer all my questions! The products are wonderful, from the beautiful plants outside to the adorable decorations on the inside. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my gardening needs!

We hired Wendland for a full landscaping job, and it was a big one: removing most of our current landscaping, designing and installing all new beds and plants. They listened to what I wanted and went to work. Being very ignorant of what I should get in order to do as little maintenance and future planting as possible, they chose items that made sense based on drainage, sun/shade timing, and all perennials, and were flexible with me if I didn't like one flower or another. I was amazed at how quick and efficient the team was and all of them very nice. Our yard has gone from atrocious to lovely. I can't wait to see how it all fills out. And everything was done within our budget. I would definitely recommend them.

We recieved a phone call the next morning explaining the delays. This was followed up with an email including the care instructions we were wanting. Our refund was promptly sent out to us. We are happy to say this company backs what they say.

hired this company to landscape our new home. Some things we were very pleased with but we are also experiencing some problems. We had some damage to insulation and also found a hole in
our siding. They said they would reimburse our expenses but have not. We recieved different bushes from our original purchase so we have some refund due that we have not received. We are waiting for warrenty paperwork on the patio stone and care info on trees and bushes since the end of July. Very frustrating!

Good local place. They redid our landscaping. Professional and great work. Only complaint is that some of our shrubs died within a year or two. However they have a two year guarantee. They came back and replaced at no charge. Knowledgeable. Reasonable pricing.

I appreciated the quick email responses I received while trying to get help with my property. It took awhile to get on the schedule because of the busy season, but the crew was available earlier than I anticipated. I had dirt, mulch, weed spraying and edging done around the property and while the guys were doing the work, I never felt as though I was bothering them with any of my requests and that was very much appreciated. And before finishing up, Cal took me on a walk through to make sure I was happy with everything. Job well done!

He was professional, knowledgeable and caring... I can't speak highly enough of this company and their top-notch service.

This is the second year in a row we have worked with Wendland Nursery to mulch our property. We have several very large beds (one that is the entire length of our very long backyard) and almost a dozen individual trees across the property as well. The crew they sent this year was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and they did very, very nice work. There is hardly any mulch outside the beds and they were extremely precise in how they spread it, even in difficult areas like around and under our rose bushes. Very much appreciated. We will be scheduling for next year for sure!

I do property management and needed several loads of mulch and topsoil delivered. Was able to get same day delivery and they worked around my schedule for remaining deliveries and even rescheduled around the rain twice with no extra fees or gripes . Product was great, Drivers were knowledgeable and every employee was friendly and professional. Will 100% use them exclusively in the future and highly recommend them.

This was a lovely nursery. Not much stock, but some interesting varieties.

Really happy with Wendland’s work. They transformed our once unkempt backyard to now a cleaner and more presentable space. Brady and the rest of the crew did a good job and were highly efficient. Buyer beware!!! End results not impressive. Contracted with Wendland upon completion of our new home for necessary fill, planting areas with shrubs, decorative outcropping, accent lighting and establishment of a lawn. Fill work went well. Planting area establishment went well, shrubs provided went well ( quite small) and the outcropping went well, however created dangerous slopes for lawn cutting. Which is exactly what we were trying to avoid. As for lawn establishment, which took place last fall, even with the expense of a temporary lawn sprinkler system the lawn did not come in as it should. This year there was a second attempt to spot seed the open areas. This netted no appreciable results so a third effort using slit seed method was used, needless to say we have seen little improvement. Also communications, follow-up and being on time to meet and review progress leaves much to be desired. We decided to add some additional work, so we provided a sketch for pricing to Josh and then after 2 weeks from no response we contacted him wondering where our proposal was only to find out he lost the sketch and couldn't create the proposal. So we provided it a second time. Finally received the proposal which was for a 40 ft. Length of stone barrier. The proposal was for an 18 in. Long barrier. They ultimately did the wall without being approved and it took 2 trips because they brought the wrong stone. Needless to say there was no sketch so the employees weren't even sure what they were supposed to be doing. That was one of MANY situations that occurred. Just exhausting.....

Great people, products and knowledge. Worth every penny, & always something cute in the shoppe! My clients are very pleased with everything. It looks so much better now And even 6 years later now.

Wouldn’t recommend going here. For whatever reason the one manager screamed and cussed me out from what I saw was miss communication. Have no clue what she was upset about because of her screaming and profanity. The husband who works there too thought this was funny and just stood there smirking and snickering about his wife’s behavior. Don’t do business with these people. If that’s how you feel you should treat people you don’t deserve to be in business. Nothing professional with their behavior!

We were very pleased with Wendland's.
They just helped us get sod in our back yard prior to a Grad party. They went above and beyond to get this done with a very quick turn around time and it looks amazing! They were here when they said they would be and communicated along the way even working to get us in early. The yard looked amazing and they kept cleaning up as they did the work. I wish all contractors worked like this.
Thanks to the whole team for the amazing work. We WILL be back.
