A week ago, a storm caused a part of a HUGE tree to split and fall on our shed. We called DeKrey, and received an IMMEDIATE response. Chris came over in less than 20 minutes to scope out the situation, and give us the details of what would be needed going forward. His team came back a few days later to remove the tree. I HIGHLY recommend them!

They came out to review the conditions within a day of contacting them and had an official quote the next day. They talked through everything, were professional and friendly, and completed the work quickly considering the conditions. (Removal of large tree limbs high in air and over our house. Nothing landed on our roof!) They are insured and had all the equipment necessary for the job.

I would highly recommend them and will be calling them the next time I need anything cut down, trimmed, or removed!

We’ve had a number of fantastic experiences with Chris from Dekrey Tree Worx over the years, but our August 2024 project was the best yet! The large mounds of topsoil stored at the construction site of our new home became overrun by 13-foot weeds, and we had no idea where to turn. Thankfully, Chris stepped in, as he always does, and saved the day. Chris and his team are incredibly professional, responsible, and consistently go the extra mile to get the job done right. Excellent work! Chris gave us a great quote on exactly what we wanted but also what was good for the tree. And NO upselling like the bigger competitors. 100% he’s our tree guy now.

So to start off this review, I will simply say, I would plant a forest, just to hire this guy and his crew to take care of it. My wife and I recently discovered last year that a 60 ft maple in our backyard, was hollow on one side. The family that owned the home before us had already had a cable put in so that the tree would not split like a wishbone. However, it was time for this maple to come down sadly (although I definitely will not miss the leaves, and I'm pretty sure I can speak for my neighbor too, haha). I contacted a local crew (I won't mention names out of courtesy), and that gentleman came out and gave me a quote to simply remove the tree. Needless to say, thankfully, some things came up, and my wife and I decided to wait it out through the winter. I cannot stress how glad I am that we made that decision. Unfortunately, the company I had reached prior, was no longer in service. So I did a Google search, made a couple calls, and DeKrey Tree Worx got back to me right away. The owner came out immediately, and I completely expected to get the same price point that I was told before. When he came in at half that cost and then proceeded to tell me all he would do, I thought he was mistaken. Not only would he cut the tree down, remove the stump, plant fresh topsoil and grass, but his crew proceeded to dice up the tree into firewood for us. Then, to make things even more amazing, they stacked it for us in our firewood rack. They could have just left it on the ground, hell, they didn't even have to cut it up for us in the first place, but they did. They did all of that for half of what I was quoted last year, to just remove the tree. On the day of service, one of his guys called in sick, but amongst him and only one other crew member, they had that tree down in 3 hours, diced up into firewood, and stacked. I won't give the price, because all work is different, but I stress to anyone reading this review, that it was very, VERY affordable.

The owner even left a bottle of his own maple syrup. So I say again, I would plant a forest, just to have this guy and his crew work on it. The customer service was second to none. His response to questions, text messages, and phone calls, were extremely quick. This gentleman knows how to run a business successfully, without greed, and definitely understands a proper customer service model. And his pricing will always bring us back. Even in a time of high inflation, this company does not take advantage of their customers, nor did they forget that good customer service and a reasonable price point, will always bring a customer back.

Highly recommend. I will definitely hire them again.
