Angel and his crew did a wonderful job washing our windows, power washing our home and cleaning our gutters. They were respectful of our property, friendly and attentive to every detail. I’ve worked with Angel previously, and wouldn’t use anyone else. A 5 star rating doesn’t seem like enough!

After trying a couple of other highly rated window cleaners in Madison, we have found our gem. Angel's Window Cleaning exceeded all expectations. Javier and Nathaniel were polite, professional and diligent in their work. We had some hard water stains on a few windows from poorly placed sprinklers. Other services did not tackle it but Angel's noted it and, after 2 years, we have beautiful, perfectly clear windows! Prices were better than competitors. Floors, carpets were protected as needed by tarps and rubber shoe coverings. The attention to details was impeccable. Thank you, Angel!

Affordable, professional and well done. I recommend Angel to anyone. He scheduled me in quickly and completed my 2000 sq ft ranch house within a few hours. I am very happy with his work. He cleaned 20 years of dirt off the siding and didn't leave a single smudge.

Capital City Tree experts helped save our favorite Magnolia tree. They are incredibly knowledgable and professional and care a great deal about customer service and your experience with their employees. Their service is timely and they have excellent communication with customers. I recommend them highly.

Darrell and his crew did a great job removing a gigantic silver maple limb that was hanging over our garage. The tree belonged to a neighbor, and they were very professional about getting proper consent from them prior to removal. Aside from being 50ish feet tall, it was hanging precariously over the garage and the power line to the house. We have a fenced in back yard, so that also made removal more difficult. They were able to pop one of the fence sections off, and drive their equipment into our very tight yard. They didn't leave any tracks, and took care to leave the yard as they found it. My wife and I would highly recommend Darrell and his team!

We had SavATree come out to our house to look at our two giant silver maples that are close to our house. Michael was awesome! He is super knowledgeable and wants to do what is best for you and those trees. We would recommend using SavATree!

I used Capital in the past and was very happy with the actual work they did after waiting four-plus months last year. For approximately $2300 they removed two huge oak trees and ground the stumps. Recently, however, I had a very different experience. One small (dead) tree blew down -- completely uprooted -- and I had another medium- size oak that was split at the base and in danger of falling. Two guys came out from Capital City last Monday and I endured twenty minutes of 'jokes' about being charged $20,000 and was told that they would 'have to bump someone else' to accommodate me. I was initially (seriously) quoted $2000, but a few seconds later it was $2400 for a total of $2500 and change. I went back into my house, burst into tears at the thought, and then got angry and did a bit of research. I contacted another tree service -- a five- star, fully insured business -- that got back to me right away, did a consult on Wednesday, and had the job completed by 9:30 Friday morning for $800 LESS than what Capital wanted out of me. Needless to say, I will be using them in the future and not wasting my time as I did with a place that clearly does NOT value me as a customer.

These guys are amazing! I had a next door neighbor getting a very large tree taken down and Ricky and Andy were very professional and careful with our property as our houses are pretty close together. They even took a small pile of tree limbs we had from the last storm that came through and put them through the wood chipper for us!! That was such a help!! I was kind of worried about that big tree coming down, but they did it quick and cleaned up so well afterwards, you would have never known they were even there!! Highly Recommended!

Andy and Cody just left my place after taking down a large pine tree and a large walnut tree next to my house. They also trimmed up a couple other trees. My yard is cleaner than it was when they got here this morning. Stumps flush cut as requested. Nice work! Very professional.

Just moved to Madison last year and this is the second time I've had Capital City remove trees on my property. From meeting with Miguel to get a quote, correspondence to confirm the quote, scheduling the work and work completed , this outfit is first class. I won't talk to anybody else when it comes to tree work.

I've had a number of tree removal companies work on my property over the past 30 years, but few were as thorough, and professional as Capital City Tree Experts. Starting with the person who reviewed my problem and provided a detailed cost estimate, to the office personnel who "e" mailed me and set up the time for the work to be done, to the foreman of the men who came to perform the work, Capital City was organized and professional. The care and safety measures utilized by the crew in protecting my property and performing the work was exceptional. And the cleanup afterwards was thorough and well done..

The next time i need a a tree pruned or removed, I won't hesitate to call Capital City Tree Experts.

We have been using Capitol City Tree Experts for 3 summers. They have been instrumental in treating and saving the 5 large Ash trees on our property. We have had 2 EAB treatments (2 years apart as recommended), a root stimulant treatment this summer and their crew was here yesterday to trim the Ash trees to get the dead/damaged wood out. Everyone we have been in contact with over the years has been friendly and professional. They listen to our concerns and provide answers as well as recommendations on the best way to proceed - Miguel has been instrumental in helping us plan out the attack on the EAB. Our trees look better every year! The trimming that was done yesterday by Trace really made the trees look fantastic! I know a lot of people are not saving their Ash trees, but ours are such a big part of our landscaping we felt it was worth it to try to save them. Capitol City Tree Experts has done an amazing job for us, and we very highly recommend their services.

Eric and crew were here to do some tree trimming for me. i've had Capital City Tree here to do tree work for me several times over the years.
This past week they were here for more tree trimming because there was a very large tree with a tree branch hanging perilously over the roof. They did a FANTASTIC job of trimming the tree while maintaining the health of the tree. I was so impressed. They were very careful, clearly aware of safety issues, and just did such an excellent job. You can count on them to take good care of your trees!

Several big storms blew through Madison in the last week, ripping several large limbs partially down from a big maple in my back yard. Connor came out within 24 hours to look at the damage, then came BACK the next day to talk to me about it and discuss the plan. They made time in their busy schedule to come dispose of the branches (which were dangling and thus a danger to people/property) far sooner than I expected, showing up about a week earlier than I thought they would! I cannot recommend them highly enough and will definitely be reaching out to them again with any future arborist or tree pruning needs.

We have used Capital City Tree Experts a few times since purchasing our home and could not be happier. Their entire staff has been professional and responsive, our trees look AMAZING, and they always leave our property in great condition. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants quality work done!

We called Capital City Tree Experts for help with storm damage to the tops of 3 trees in our yard. They brought their “spider lift” which worked well because our lawn doesn’t have room for equipment. They cut, trimmed and cleaned up branches and sticks making the place look better than before! We were very pleased that the spider lift left no damage to the lawn as well. They were professional and efficient. They offered advise but also listened to what we wanted. Good job Capital City Tree Experts.

Kevin, Nick and Terry arrived a little early for my scheduled appointment to prune four trees and started promptly at 8 a.m. this morning. I was very impressed with their professionalism, quality of work plus how quietly they worked (which I'm sure my neighbors appreciated)! They were done in under an hour and waited until about 8:45ish a.m. to put the tree branches through their shredder (and I'm sure my neighbors appreciated that too). Did an excellent job of cleaning up around the trees after they were done. Great guys and I would definitely recommend them.

Disappointingly, though perhaps not surprisingly, customer service is even worse after the acquisition by "SavATree." Weeks of trying to get someone to come take a look at the state of the tree they planted last fall with no response or follow up of any kind. I have to assume at this point that they simply do not intend to provide any of the ongoing services nor stand behind any of the warranties for which we have already paid.

Update after response from business:

Yes, there are (at least) two points of view in every discussion. I acknowledge that Capital City's owners have theirs. I stand by mine. A third point of view, in this case, is that of the utility company, which I know from having had to call them myself a number of times to finally get the work done. Needless to say, while Capital City's owners point their fingers at the electric company, the story I was hearing from the electric company was somewhat different.

We tipped the crews because in nearly every case, once Capital City's employees actually showed up to do the work, they did it well. Nor do I blame them for the long delays and complete silence from Capital City in between their visits. I am sure the crews go where and when they are told. It is up to those in charge to determine priorities and communicate with customers.

As for the discount we were offered, it was for a service that even Capital City's own employee acknowledged we do not really need. That is why we declined it. And it was only a discount from what seemed a quite high price to start with.

And that is the crux of my issue with the service we have received. Capital City charges premium prices, but has not provided the level of service I would expect to justify those prices. Had we been charged a bargain rate, I would not have reviewed the company in what Capital City's owners consider so "harsh" a manner. That said, since the service for which we have already paid includes ongoing maintenance of the newly planted tree, I will consider revising my review again if, in my opinion, the company's future performance warrants it. So far, that has not occurred.

We first met with a salesperson from Capital City Tree Experts on March 23, 2022 and signed their written proposal for a very large tree pruning, removal and planting project the same day. Among the services they promised to justify their premium prices was a smooth process, for example in coordinating with utility companies where overhead power lines and underground pipes and conduits are concerned. It is May 23 as I write this, and we finally got the electric company to complete their part of the project after we called them ourselves numerous times, since Capital City Tree Experts was not getting them to show up. Now Capital City Tree Experts says it will be at least a week before they are willing to return to complete their job, leaving us with a hacked up tree and a huge pile of debris in our front yard for that much longer. Very disappointing, to say the least.

DO NOT use this company for their tree services. I’ve never wrote a Google review, but I feel compelled to do so this time. We used their services for one year and the next year decided to go with another service because their prices were too much. Never signed a contract with them, but they charged our credit card anyway. Figuring it was an oversight, I contacted the company to be reimbursed. I kept getting told that “someone would get back to me later.” No one ever did. Dishonest company with horrible customer service. Use any other company!!!
