We had a little communication trouble at the beginning, as the first specialist came much earlier in the day than expected (before 8am) and never knocked on our front door or made a phone call. Granted we have a slightly weird front porch, so they might have only knocked on the side door that goes into the garage. That said, I'd still expect a phone call from them before leaving without performing the planned treatment.

My one complaint aside, and a couple phone calls later, we got things cleared up and things have been great since! Our first tech was friendly and the weeds are notably less prominent after the first week or so. Our second tech likewise was nice to work with!

I'd give five stars aside from the initial trouble of getting proper communication when the tech is on site. Another contractor I use, Aptive Pest Control, always gives a time estimate (accurate within a few hour window) along with a text/phone call before they arrive on site. This practice could be adopted by TruGreen to improve customer experience.

It was a pleasure to meet the TruGreen Technician. Will was a professional in every aspect of the word. He cordially introduced himself and asked questions about my lawn and actively listened. Will also informed of the next application and again asked if I had any other questions or concerns before he began his work.
I’ve been in the Customer Service industry for 30+ years and would say Will proved just that “Excellent customer service and represents hos company well!”

Friendly polite and respectful. A professional and knowledgeable person. The service has improved my lawn, reduced weeds and pests. A valuable service that I am happy with.

You can ask questions, give opinions, they give you tips. Keep you posted if you're rescheduled. If you aren't home you can call, or use app. Going to have overseeding, aeration, especially where the weeds formerly were, pricey, yet not needed again for 3 years.

Ali did an awesome job with my yard. The coverages that he spread were very even, which will make for a very great looking yard! Keep up the great work, The whole Trugreen team!!!

We have had TruGreen for one year[2020-24] All 5 applications have been applied at specific times with great results. We have the best-looking lawn in the area and keep the grass cut 2+". I highly recommend. Janesville, WI

I'm wondering if someone came to my house twice on 3/31. I woke up to my yard looking like this at 7am, but then my wife said someone was at our house at 12:30ish

I didn't catch the service technicians name. I was at home. He came to the door - introduced himself very professionally. He answered my questions - showed me the weeds In my yard and identified them. He assured me the weeds will be treated. Very well done!

I "caught" Jacob Grunwald on the job at my place. He listened to my concerns and took care of my special lawn care requests. He even checked with his boss concerning an added application on broad-leafed weeds. Very professional! Kudos to Jacob for doing a great job!

This property is a duplex and all services should include the entire lawn: 3705 & 3707 Hanover St. The service person indicated that is not on the work order. Please correct. The service person was very polite and did service the whole yard when I explained the mistake. Hopefully this will be corrected going forward.

TruGreen in Madison, WI turned my lawn into this in just two days and it’s only getting worse. Called customer support two days after the application and clearly explained the situation. Said I didn’t want anything applied to the lawn without talking to someone. Two days later someone shows up and good thing I was here because he knew nothing about why he was there and was staring to spray for weeds. He had his supervisor on the phone and I told him I wanted the supervisor to call me. 8 hours later and NOTHING! This is the worst customer service I think I’ve ever received. Hopefully the grass isn’t dying because without talking to someone I don’t know what my next steps should be.

Had a Bumper Crop of Creeping Charlie in my Backyard this year.TruGreen did a great job of getting rid of it.
After the Third Application and beyond I noticed a huge difference in the quality and appearance of my lawn.

TruGreen sprayed my lawn but they also sprayed the bottom portion of nine of my arborvitae are now totally Brown. I raised an issue with this and found such poor communication it was every time I called no one had heard of anything like it it was like one hand didn't know what the other one was doing. I would not ever recommend TruGreen to my worst enemy. The service person came after my contract had expired he knew nothing about the expiration and was going to spray the lawn and charge me again. Again there is no communication within that company. This has been a very frustrating experience for me

Hired TruGreen to spray my entire yard for clover for 2 applications. I did discuss recommended treatment duration with them before signing up. The first treatment was great! Clover was dying out. Second application was done while I was out of the country for two weeks. My lawn care service reported no pesticide signage was put up, no dying of any clover … nothing! I did have a sheet from TruGreen stating they sprayed “where needed.” I called them wanting them to come back and respray. At first they said they would, then said they’d have a manager come look at it and then said no to any fix. They did offer to respray if I paid another half charge. Not acceptable. I then told them I ’d dispute the charge which I did. They never responded back to my credit card company. They are, however, calling as many as 2-3 times a day stating I owe them money! I’ve told them if they want to come back in the spring and respray the yard as originally agreed to then I’ll pay them! Of course now the clover is spreading again so I doubt one application is enough!!!!’

Jerk was driving 60 in a 30 clearly on his phone in Verona. Towing a giant trailer. He seriously almost flattened a cyclist. I would never hire this company based on seeing this happen.

Our 27-year old River Birch tree had grown over our house. The high winds on the early morning of March 13 caused an 8” diameter branch to fall on our roof. Fortunately, it didn’t cause any damage. On Saturday, March 14, I contacted a couple of tree removal businesses but didn’t hear back from them. This morning, Sunday March 15, I contacted Greg and Jeremy at Paul’s Tree Service, and explained to them that we were really concerned that the tree may come down during the forecasted winter storm. They were at our place by 2:00 PM today and had the tree down by 4:00 PM. It is now 9:08 PM and the wind is howling outside. I can’t express how fortunate we are to have contacted Greg and Jeremy at Paul’s Tree Service to remove a tree that may have come down on our house during this current storm. Thanks, guys!!
