I was not thrilled with my experience with Green Planet Cleaning for two reasons: 1) They sent 3 people to clean a two bedroom apartment and much of the time 2 or 3 of them were all in the same room. To me this was not efficient because there's just not enough space. At least part of the time, one or two of them were watching the other person. 2) The biggest thing is that either the cleaners did not speak enough English to understand me, or they chose to ignore my instructions. My place was not in good shape and I asked them to just skip one of the rooms and a couple of the tasks. They did not follow my instructions. In the end, they did a fairly good job, but it cost me a lot of money and I will not have them come back.

The people that you sent over came a bit late, but that was ok with because like to clean up a little first.
I think I gave them a job they didn’t expect. That was to rearrange the stuff in the basement and get the room dusted.
They a good job of moving things to the side,then wipe off everything they could. That included the ceilings, walls and floor. Some shelves were wiped off too. I wanted them to dust everything off because I had a long problem with dust mites. They were settled in.
They wiped the cabinets in the kitchen. I think the kitchen floor too. The supervisor understood what I wanted and directed the girls. I was so relieved to have all that done.

I'm writing this after the first cleaning (signed up for monthly service).

Before the cleaners came, David came for a walk-through to ask me about the areas I'd like them to focus on. A couple days later he emailed me the cleaning list to sign off on, which I did.

After the cleaners came I was a bit disappointed to find some things hadn't been cleaned (cobwebs in ceiling corners, no dusting above shoulder level), but then I scanned over the service agreement and found that they cleaned exactly the things they said they would. I still feel a little let down that they didn't go beyond the agreement to clean things that obviously needed it, but I can't fault them since I was not specific at all about my requests. I also noticed they rotate which rooms/areas they focus on each time they come, so one space gets a deeper clean while the rest of the home gets more general cleaning.

At the end of the day, I'm satisfied with the work they did and I feel the price is fair. I'll be continuing the service.

Service was good and cleaning job was good at first. There was a steady decline in the cleaning and now the last several cleanings we could barely tell the cleaning crew in our home. Also the cleaning crew broke a few things in our home and didn't fess up to anything. Not the best customer service when confronted with any problems. We had to fire Green Planet today. Caviat Emptor!

Poor communication and customer service. Cleaning crew arrived almost an hour and a half late. I expected them to be done by the time that they actually did arrive. The delay made me late for a follow-up appointment that I had. Owner is flakey and didn't take responsibility for the scheduling mix up. Have emailed him repeatedly asking for a receipt for services with no response. Would not recommend.

I am so delighted with my scheduled house cleanings by Green Planet Cleaning. After their first visit, my husband and I came home to a sparkling house. We ran around looking at everything like kids on Christmas morning! Our tub, which had grime and hard water deposits that we'd tried scrubbing and scrubbing, looked BRAND NEW. Our toilets, with stubborn rings, were sparkling. "Natural" products or no, they worked miracles. We were literally amazed. They are aware that my husband has dust allergies and they even clean our ceiling fans.
As a working mom, I used to suffer constant low-level stress over things like the last time I vacuumed the carpets or the grubbiness of the bathrooms. It seemed like there was never enough time left over for all the other chores after cooking and processing piles of dishes and laundry. Now I don't have that stress weighing me down anymore and I don't have to make unpleasant choices like staying up late to catch up on housework or losing out on time with my family! Thank you so much, Green Planet Cleaning, for this gift.

I hired Green Planet Cleaning to do a special one time Spring Cleaning for me and was very pleased with the results.
The products used made my house smell clean without leaving a heavy odor in the air, which is important to me.
And the team of three that came were conscientious about learning exactly what I wanted cleaned. They worked well as a team and left the house looking and feeling so wonderful.
The only small problem was that the team did not vacuum the furniture as thoroughly as it should have been done. I contacted the owner to ask about this, he agreed with me and reduced my bill to compensate me for the misstep.
I appreciated the process from start to finish and would have them back again!

Over the years the communication and service delivered has declined. There is a lack of consistency and clear communication. The cleaners are kind and do a great job but with the poor organization and awful communication it makes their job harder and puts the client in a difficult position. I would not recommend this business due to the lack of communication, no follow through, inconsistency, last minute changes, and lack of trust with clients from the owner.

We used Green Plant for a year pre-COVID, using their service for monthly cleanings. We were happy with them and recommended them to several people.

When COVID hit, we prepaid for a month in March 2020 to try to help the business out as things were getting crazy. We've since used them twice and both times were extremely disappointing. Rooms were not cleaned at all (they claimed miscommunication) and other rooms were half cleaned which cannot be explained by miscommunication. Trying to get an accurate invoice after this cleaning took months. We gave them a second chance and yet again were disappointed. In both instances scheduling was an issue: we had a regularly standing appointment that would get disregarded and rescheduling was always a struggle. The second cleaning was again half done. The floor might have been mopped, but not under dressers, rugs weren't vaccumed, etc. Again, trying to get an accurate invoice (and neither time did I ask for a discount or refund) was a nightmare. I had to keep saying, "I'd love to pay you but I haven't received an accurate invoice...". I received no response to my concerns about the quality of the second cleaning.

Look elsewhere. Their quality and customer service has sadly gone WAY DOWN HILL. We will be looking elsewhere.

I have hired cleaning companies many times over the years, and very few of them actually met my expectations of what a clean house would be. I have been working with green planet over the last year or so to do my weekly cleanings, and they have been doing a great job.

We had to take a break due to Covid, so our house had gotten somewhat out of control. When I got home from work yesterday I was in awe at the magic that the green planet folks did in my house. My daughter’s favorite shorts appeared, a remote control that we thought was lost forever now has suddenly appeared....

I am so happy to have them back on board with us again.

Had Green Planet Cleaning do a deep clean/ moving out cleaning for us they did a great job. the place looks so good. David the owner was very responsive to emails I sent him and questions I asked I really appreciate that made the experience much less stressful.

The Green Planet team has been great to work with. They do a great job getting everything cleaned up around our house and focus on certain areas each time. They even do a great job of working around our infant daughter's sleep schedule.

I agree with other negative reviews. I thought this was a great company in the beginning. Then there was a significant decline. The owner started saying the staff was too busy, or sick, or some other reason they couldn’t come. Then one week he emailed me saying the staff was “behind” so could they do it Thursday or Friday. I said ok. Management never contacted me and they never showed up that week. Then they were going to just proceed like nothing ever happened. The staff said they were informed by the owner to “do a different client’s home instead”. He never contacted me to even explain nor apologize. I referred 3-4 large homes to this company. Never again. There’s other companies out there that will value your business. THIS one…is not one of them.

We've been using Green Planet Cleaning for a couple months now and have been extremely pleased with their service. The price is very fair and they do a great job & they do it quickly. I can't complain. We'll be staying on their biweekly service for sure!

We tried a few other companies before discovering Green Planet and Green Planet blows the others away. We were lucky to get Maria's team and they are amazing! Friendly and fast, and the house always looks spectacular after they visit. Love this company.

We chose Green Planet Cleaning about a year ago when our cleaning lady had to retire. I was leery about going with a company. However, the mgt and staff at Green Planet Cleaning have been very accommodating and the fee has been reasonable . I preferred morning for cleaning and after some schedule rearranging, that was accomplished. The staff are competent, work quietly and efficiently, and are extremely pleasant.
I have been very pleased.

We have Green Planet Cleaning send a team to our apartment two or three times a year. We have always been pleased by how great things look when they leave. We highly recommend their service.

We chose Green Planet Cleaning for their environmentally friendly services, and were very pleased with the results. Communication was prompt and easy, and the crew did a fantastic job with our 4 bed/2.5 bath house.

I'm not sure why this place is rated so highly. I will say, my first conversation was very pleasant and professional, but it went downhill from there. I scheduled my cleaning for 1 pm and then got an email confirmation for a 2 pm appointment. I called to clarify the timing and they said they had to make accommodations for an appointment they had that morning. Since 2 pm didn't work for me, I asked to reschedule. I did not hear back for 3 business days - they contacted me the morning of my original appointment to reschedule. On the day of the new appointment, they were an hour late and did not contact me to let me know, so I left and put a note on the door (we had already moved out). I called to see what was going on and nobody answered or replied to my voicemail. I went back a few hours later and saw that they had come to clean, but they did a HORRIBLE job. I had to pick stuff up off the floor that they had missed during sweeping/mopping. Then the next day I was sent an invoice for $200. I still have not heard back from a human, only seeing the automated emails. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I love Green Planet Cleaning. They make my house look like new every other week. I have recommended them to many of my friends. I have to say I was skeptical that they could get things as clean as they do without using harsh chemical products. I always feel so happy and less stressed when I know they are taking care of all the "detailed" cleaning. I highly recommend Great Planet.

I had monthly cleaning scheduled, but MANY times the owner would email to cancel and reschedule day of. Notified me the day of the cleaning that they were just "done" due to a team "moving to greener pastures". When the did come, they were often late, but did a decent job (its a small job).
