Evan and his crew were great! Getting a quote was easy and quick. I was very cost conscious (I had 2 problem trees to remove) and Evan was helpful in pointing out places where I could save a little money by taking care of some things myself. He really took the time to understand what I wanted and was able to get me on the schedule in a timely matter to get the work done. The crew worked quickly and efficiently, and took excellent care to get the trees removed. It was a bit tricky due to multiple fences, sheds, and power lines but they got it done and my yard was actually cleaner after they left. Highly impressed with these guys!

We had a compicated situation involving a large oak tree near a power line and our neighbor's yard. Urban Tree, led by Evan, coordinated with our neighbor to access our yard and with MG&E regarding their trimming work. They removed our tree and all the trimmings and did a thorough cleanup. Their price was quite reasonable for our market. We are very pleased.

We had two very large silver maples in our backyard and a diseased spruce in our front yard that we needed to remove. We knew it was going to be a big job and wanted to find the most competent, professional service we could. After receiving multiple bids, we went with Urban Tree Management because the service was friendly and the price was right. We are so happy with how they handled the job. The crew was very professional and courteous, and removed the trees in a timely manner with no negative impacts to the surrounding lawn. They also did a fantastic job cleaning up all the debris, which our neighbors even commented on. We were extremely pleased with their work.

Having never used a tree service before, we don’t have a point of comparison, but it is hard to believe another company could have done a better job. Will be happy to recommend Urban Tree Management to friends and family.

I've hired Urban Tree Management on several occasions with several trees, two of them very large and old trees. They've always done a great job, being respectful of my property and cleaning up all the debris when they're done. Really impressed with Evan and team. We got loads of quotes for a huge tree wedged between 2 houses. It was a very tricky job. Their quote was one of the lower ones, and they have great reviews and I felt really good going into the job. They finished quickly, ground the stump and you’d never know there was a tree there. Really grateful and would recommend them without hesitation!

We had a great experience with Urban Tree Management. Evan was responsive from the beginning. He was the only one of the four tree removal services we inquired with to set an appointment to meet us at our property for a quote. Our tree was in a tricky spot but he had a plan from the get-go to remove it with as little inconvenience to our neighbors as possible. His quote was reasonable, and he worked to get us in his schedule asap, as we had a deadline to meet. When the day arrived to take down the tree, Evan and his crew arrived promptly, took down the tree (quickly and skillfully), and cleaned up the mess afterward. We had him grind out the stump as well. I hope I don't have to remove any other trees any time soon, but if I do, I would use Urban Tree Management again in a heartbeat.

Wow! Evan and his crew just did a fantastic job removing two trees that were hanging over our and our neighbor's houses and were rotting at their roots. The team arrived on time, worked safely and quickly in a tight space between two houses, and performed all of the activities on their bid in less than the estimated time.

Evan and team are tops! They just removed a MASSIVE red oak from my property that had unfortunately died (in addition to a few other dead ash trees). This was not an easy job and took multiple days. Another highly regarded tree management business in the area actually declined the work because it was just too big/risky for them. Among the contractors I solicited quotes from, Evan's team was the only one that promised not to damage or remove the surrounding Maples in order to remove the dead tree. Still, Evan's quote (while not inexpensive in the slightest) was actually comparable to others. Evan's team is highly skilled and careful every step of the way. After the job was complete, Evan's team carefully repatched some grass that was lost due to their equipment, at no additional cost. I strongly recommend them.

Evan and his team did an amazing job removing a large dead oak tree from our side yard. It was a tricky job, as the tree was right on the property line and within 15’ of our neighbor’s house. Evan’s efficiency and prowess was something to behold.

We hired Urban Tree management after reaching out to request bids from 5 companies. One of the larger outfits would not even provide a bid, saying the job was too risky. Another wanted to charge an exorbitant amount to bring in an industrial size crane. Urban Tree was the last contractor we reached out to, and their quote was the lowest. After witnessing them in action, I now know why they have all 5 star reviews. They kick ass at what they do and deserve the praise. Can’t recommend them highly enough.

Customer service is the biggest problem with tree service in Madison, and Evan at urban tree management is the only owner who seems to get that. When I was interested in non-urgent tree removal, he still got back to me in less than 24 hours, and was available for the project within a week or two. When our recent storm hit and I had several large downed limbs on my property (and house), he was here by 9 AM the next day! He's nice, reasonably priced (which these days is still a lot imo), and does a great job.

We were extremely impressed by Evan and his crew. Evan came up with a creative solution to taking down our tree, despite the very limited access to our backyard. Watching him work is a real treat - its like watching 'spiderman' at work. He is a true professional and knows exactly what he is doing. We highly recommend him.

We had three large old oak trees removed and Urban Tree Mgmt did an outstanding job of handling this. They were exceptional with the following: coordination with a separate company for dealing with power lines and ensuring our property was ready for the equipment, speed as they were able to complete the job in 2 days, and cleanliness as they left our yard in great shape after tree removal. And the owner did an excellent job of communicating with us. I would recommend Urban Tree to anyone as they are experts who perform a quality service.
