I bought a house and the yard was in really rough shape, so I had a weed control treatment done as well as a few cuts. It was very helpful to have those services done right away and they were very timely and professional. It looked great and they cleaned up after themselves.

I had Naturescape for several years to do a lawn service, aeration, and tree and shrub care. The first several years were okay. I was always pretty satisfied with the lawn care, however the shrubs became a different story. I had informed the service person of browning in the juniper bushes. I was told to just trim out the brown. Weeks later a different service person came out and I said something again. The guessing began on their part. They said it may have been too much rain, you might have too much shade, they may be planted to close to the fence. The fence and bushes were installed at the same time, 8 years earlier, and they had been servicing for 4 years with no problems. I asked for a supervisor to come out which according to their warranty, I believe is supposed to be within 72 hours, which it was not. He advised that I (the customer) should contact UW horticultural extension to see what they say, and if they’re able to figure it out, would I please let him know. REALLY! He is no longer a supervisor. The VP made a very poor offer of compensation, and I said I’ll see you in court. Guess what, I won! By the way, they offer tree and shrub care and to the best of my knowledge they DO NOT have an arborist on staff, at least they did not at that time.

I've been using Naturescape since 2015 for their fertilizing services. My lawn looks great and grows fast. I saw the best results after the second year, once all of the dandelions and crab grass had been taken care of. I pre-pay once a year, and they drop off a receipt when they complete the work. I'm using them for mosquito abatement this year as well--we'll see how that goes. Overall, I've been very happy with their service.

Natures scapes accidentally sprayed pesticides on my fro t and back lawn, they had the wrong address. I have a pet and huge garden and would never spray pesticides. I called them to complain and asked that they call me back. They never extended the courtesy to apologize or give me a call back. I do not recommend this company.

We are so happy that we chose Naturescape to take care of our lawn. Matt was here this morning and did a very thorough job aerating our lawn and the Randy came to mow. He was very meticulous and made sure the mowing, trimming and blowing were completely to our satisfaction. Great job.

Great price, excellent communication either by phone or e-mail. Only negative I have is weed control coverage is not very good along edges of my sidewalks, otherwise anytime I have a question or concern they address it promptly. I have recommended them to family and friends.

On going problems, after 3 years our lawn still had tons of creeping charlie and weeds. We told them about the guy missing areas last year. We had a 4 x 5 foot area that had no grass left and was all creeping charlie (this is after paying for years of service. I feel if you know your guy wasn't doing the job we should have been compensated for it or simply not charged. So this year they promised to do better. They knocked over a yard art and broke it leaving behind glass shards all over my patio and grass. They did come and clean it up. Today I watched a guy miss most of our yard spraying here and there missing more than 2/3 of our yard. I was concerned that they sprayed in the rain???? The office apologized and made excuses saying the reason they did not spray all of the area was because it our grass was dry. We even told them at the beginning of the season that we were giving them another chance, but their actions speaks louder.

I have a lot of reviews and 99.9% are great, but this place has to be one of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with. Very unprofessional! Have to call every month to remind to treat lawn and bug treatment. Things are supposed to be done the first week of the month, called multiple times for treatments and they say we will get out ASAP. 3 weeks later nothing! No show, no call absolutely nothing! Paid for my front and back yard to be treated missed 25% of the back yard. Damaged lawn with the cart that sprays the treatment. Cart slid down my hill multiple times and tore up the grass with wide tire marks. They burnt my lawn while filling up their spreader. Common sense! Why would you fill your cart on the grass? Huge spots of burnt grass. They also left the backyard gate open! Spent 2 hours looking for my dogs! This company doesn't care about residential properties. By far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with! Like I said I usually don't post negative comments, but I feel others should know about them before making a decision about lawn care. Beware of this company!

As the old saying goes, you get what you paid for. As the other reviews indicated, prices are unbeatable. At the same time, they are probably cutting corners as my grass and weeds looks the worst in years. They also don't stick to their timelines and I feel they show up when they serviced everybody else. One of their applications for is to be done in Aug/Sep... We are in the middle of October and still they did not show up. Mind that my yard is fully covered with leaves now and you can't do an application on top pf leaves... What a waste. Save your money and go with somebody else or do it yourself to control what and when you are doing your applications. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND.

EDIT on 10/15: I spoke with the Naturescape team and understood the challenges they are facing. We agreed on improving the communication and I will give them an opportunity to make things right. Time will tell.

great knowledgeable, friendly staff. very responsive to all our lawn, shrub and mosquito control care. Randy our yard engineer is a gem. Lana in the office is always polite and helpful and meets our needs and then some. can't say enough good. Definitely recommend

I just had Randy and Cody out here trimming the bushes n the back yard. They did a great job!Trimmed everything up like I requested and left it cleaner that when they arrived. I even got some good advice on the upkeep of the trees. Worth every penny.

**Update 11/8/2022**
Shortly after my review, I received a follow-up call from a manager at the corporate office to address my concerns. He assured me that my issues were valid and did not match the quality of work they strive to provide. My initial review was on a Friday afternoon, and I was told not to worry about my yard that weekend; they would have a game plan to address my issues on Monday. True to his word, I received a call Monday from a second manager. Again I was assured this was not the quality of work they strive to provide and my issues would be addressed immediately. A service call was summitted to reapply the application that was laid on leaves. A second service call was submitted to re-aerate my entire yard as opposed to just the back yard. They even provided an additional add-on service at no charge. I feel better after speaking with both managers, and I was told that if I have any additional issues, I shouldn't hesitate to reach out to their management team for assistance.

Naturescape is a prime example of you get what you pay for. Either save your money and do it yourself or save yourself a future headache and choose a more professional company.
I signed my 2022 service contract in December of 2021 and my first applications started fine. The first was applied in late-March and the second was applied mid-May. After that service went downhill, and it was late August before they returned. My yard was overrun with weeds, and I treated it myself. 6 weeks after my third application, they showed up for my fourth. At the time, a good portion of my yard was blanketed with leaves and the tech applied a liquid application on top of them. It was windy that evening, and the next morning my fertilized leaves where nowhere to be found.

I continued to put faith in this company and paid for a fall lawn aeration service. The company arrived on Oct 31st and, I was able to remove the leaves from my front yard, but I had a blanket in my back yard. There was no paperwork left confirming the service and the only signs it occurred were the images on my ring camera and the soil plugs left in the yard.
The following afternoon I called Naturescape to discuss the aeration issue. I was told by the receptionist that there must be a misunderstanding because there was not a tech in my area. I also asked why last year I received a notice prior to this service and this year someone showed-up unannounced. The reasoning was last year I paid for overseeding, and they needed leaves removed so they could lay the seed. This made sense but given the number of leaves in my backyard (2+”), the decision to aerate did not.

I went on to explain other issues and was told that my concerns would be passed along to a Manger who would be in touch. The receptionist offered to put in a service call to redo the aeration, but I requested that she wait until I spoke with a manager. Based on the lack of professionalism already exhibited, I should have known the odds of getting a call were slim and it was no surprise when I did not receive a one.

Naturescape does a great job on treating and feeding our lawn to keep it lush and green. Tip is to pay for services in advance then relax and enjoy the season.

I have been using NatureScape for 20-25 years and couldn't be happier. They are family owned and based out of Muskego, WI where I raised my kids. Their 5-application plan is exactly what I would do myself, but at a price that makes it well worth having them do it. Last summer, when I moved into my new house, I tried a different service recommended by my landscaper. I quickly regretted it. I ended up with a minor grub problem that they didn't diagnose. This year, NatureScape quickly diagnosed the problem and treated for it. The lawn is now looking great.
Lanna and Celeste both provide excellent customer service, which is quite unusual these days.
I don't see us ever using a different service again.

Naturescape has provided excellent service to me for over 15.years, all seasons of the year. They are dependable and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Lana has provided wonderful service and is very responsive to any questions. As we approach winter in Wisconsin, i feel confident to be in their hands.

Stay away, far away, they will come every 10-12 weeks and still have weeds. They will spend the least amount of time at your property and miss the edges and side. They do have lower prices than the big boys but not sure it's worth it.

Netscape does a great job in providing consistent applications for lawn care. However, the technicians don't have time to spend with customers talking about their lawns.
Consequently I end up talking to Lana the customer service rep who is world-class. She forgot more about lawns than most people know. She's given great advice and talked me off the ledge many times.
I truly believe without Lana I would be lost without her advice.
She's a keeper and should be rewarded amply for her brilliant customer service, advice and professional competence.

Have had Nature Scape for over 20 years. I pay by the year. They always show up take care of the lawn and leave. Fabulous friendly people. We had some landscaping and I had to call to change services, they were very responsive and accommodating. Many other services have called, mailed flyers or come to the door. I don't every want to change.

Naturescape has been a pleasure to work with from the start and they really stand behind their service. They are very reasonably priced compared to their competition and my lawn looks great! I am very happy with this company and would recommend them to anyone in need of lawn care.
