My family and I are very happy with the excellent work done on our property recently. The service was quick, and clean up afterwards was very thorough. We would definitely recommend Way Better to everyone. Even the neighbors were impressed.

ORIGINAL POST: Just had my back patio stones leveled and reconfigured, along with replacing a walkway and step. The results were wonderful. The crew was easy to work with and always made sure my wife and I were satisfied. They are definitely on my preferred vendor list.

Terry and his team did a fantastic job with our yard landscaping. Terry had some wonderful ideas on how to make our yard look great.The cost was very reasonable and the work was completed on time. it was a pleasure to work with them.

Both myself and my mom hired Terry to do yard work and landscaping over the last several years. Terry responded quickly, came in with competitive bids and got our three jobs done fast, all with professionalism and with an eye for detail. He helped my mom with a railroad border job and came in "way better" with a quote compared to others and was able to use some of her existing ties, saving her even more. My two jobs involved landscaping prep last season and the year before. This year my fresh garden bed is coming up beautifully, due to Terry's hard work. People in my neighborhood have complimented me on how the job was done and word of mouth generated more business for Terry. I HIGHLY recommend him. He is a talented, hard working and ethical person. Wish there were more people in business with his qualities!

I hired WayBetter to maintain the lawn of one of our vacant houses during the summer of 2017. I asked them to trim the hedges in the front lawn. I received and paid the bill they presented. Two weeks after paying the bill, I drove by the house to inspect it and found that they had NOT done the work I was billed for. I called and complained to Terry (the foreman? owner?). He assured me that the work would be done in 24 hours. 48 hours later the work is still undone. Whether they do the work now or not, I would never in good conscience recommend this company to anyone. In fairness to them, they gave me a $23 credit against a later bill for my inconvenience. The hedge trimming cost $132. After holding my money for 3'weeks now and failing to follow through on their promise to complete the work, that credit seems insufficient.

The price was a lot higher than I expected. I needed weeding and mulching in the rosebed - he mulched, did not weed. I needed a better retaining wall around my tree, but I didn't think I had to specify that I wanted the same general circular shape but I guess I should have, because I didn't even get a choice in the rock. It was industrial looking brick, in a giant square, which took up more of my lawn than the original wall - which was not at all necessary, he didn't ask, and it's quite ugly. He did not intend to fill it in, said that wasn't included in his price, so I would have to figure that out, maybe I could plant flowers or something. No...... the whole point is to pay someone else to do it. If I were going to do it myself anyway, why was he even here?
He weed whacked - did not weed - around the day lilies before putting down a barrier, which might keep weeds out might not, and the same ugly cement brick wall. We didn't even have him finish the project because I was so unhappy I was crying the next day. I honestly thought maybe I'd get used to the ugly brick but the more I looked at it the more I hated it, and I was very upset to notice the grass was growing right through the mulch in the rosebed - which I had mistakenly assumed he'd weeded - who mulches and THEN weeds?! Only someone who has no intention of doing the weeding at all.
So now I'm not only paying him 60% of the bill for the work he'd already done, now I get to rip it all out myself, replace the materials myself (and pay for them) and redo the work myself. If I'd know what was going to happen I would have just started there.
The only thing I can say? He is very polite and friendly, and he did show up. 3 other landscaping companies didn't even do that much, so at least he did that.

Yard was trashed after the flooding. Got too busy and everything was overgrown. Weeds, overgrown hedges, grass longer than the bees needed it to be.

Called WayBetter and left a message. They called back the same day. The reps were professional, easy to work with and transparent on the pricing. The quote was higher than I wanted, but the work was better than I expected. They earned their tip.

Response time was awesome, Value was high quality, work was impeccable.

I needed them just to get back to normal, but I am sure I will use them consistently moving forward.

Terry is a stand up businessman...hard to find these days with all the answers and promise-makers!!!
