I had a great team working on my grading and landscaping. Jeorge, Juan, Misael, Efrain, and Alan were meticulous in removal and replanting of plants, grading and they were all very personable. I felt lucky to have such a nice team. Thank you, guys!

Excellent service! They listen to the needs of their clients and they make sure to get the job done and to completion. Pam in the office was very polite and worked with us and their team. Paul has been over the top in making sure the landscaping looks superb giving input when needed. Highly recommend. Priced right, excellent service and polite. We ordered the team pizza one day for lunch they worked so hard.

This is a great local company who keeps their word and follows through! We had an area behind our garage that has progressively become more overgrown since we bought the place and several other companies would
come out, quote and then never call us back. Not Great Lakes Landscaping though, they came out, quoted, scheduled with us, showed up promptly and absolutely transformed the area where it is now unrecognizable compared to what it was before. Just give them a call!

What a great experience using Great Lakes Landscape! Carolina was knowledgeable and creative. She got a bid to me in a day, and then once accepted, she kept me updated on the start date. The crew (Austin and guys) were very conscientious and efficient. We had 20 year old landscaping that was overgrown and unsightly. The crew did a fantastic job removing the old scrubs and installing the new plants, edging, mulching and installing new decorative stone. When the crew left, the premises here were perfectly cleaned up. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others. Thank you for beautifying my home!

My dogs used to run wild and tear up my back yard. So I had Great Lakes landscape come in and grade and put in all new top soil and sod. Now my backyard is awesome. Now when I’m hanging on my patio I’m looking at lush green grass!

Alan, Chrisoforo, and LeShawn did a great job on our new front beds. They cut new beds, removed the sod, put in plants and bushes, then installed mulch. It looks great!

Nacho, Sam & Mario did an absolutely phenomenal job with a labor-intensive job; everything from weeding, edging, retaining wall repair, and stone installation. Jared worked with us before to craft a detailed and thorough proposal and quote for the work. We will definitely be coming back to Great Lakes Landscaping for future work.

We hired Great Lakes Landscape to grade and redo our back lawn May 2025. The crew day-of did a decent job and asked for a day-of review so I left a good review that day as I felt they worked hard and well. Of note, during the grading there were several tree roots and stumps exposed, which I asked about to ensure these would be properly addressed and removed if necessary, and it was guaranteed they would address this. Fast forward to mid August: the lawn (which had been previously predominantly grass) grew back as predominantly leafy weeds throughout the entire yard. Furthermore, there were approx 5-6 areas of 4-12” where tree roots/stumps were visible and grass (nor weeds) were growing as a result. Additionally, it was obvious that the grading had not been done properly, as there were several pools of water near the back of our lawn with rain. I emailed the contact I had at their company around late June 2025 and was guaranteed that they’d come back out and at least overseed / address the weeds and roots. I emailed back two weeks later and finally heard the same response: they’d be out in a few weeks to fix things. About two weeks later I called and asked to speak to a manager. I was was not allowed to speak to a manager but was told that the same contact I had not heard back from would call me back “when he is back from vacation.”

A week or so later (around early Aug 2025) this contact calls me back and says, “It was news to me that no crew came out to fix things by now.” He proceeded to promise again that someone would be out in September. It is now October and after that last phone conversation there has been ZERO follow up, nor has a crew from their company come out. I truly gave the benefit of the doubt, waited patiently (over the course of FOUR months) for things to be addressed, and ended with a poorly graded, weed filled lawn. Finally in October 2025, I hired a separate company to grind several stumps that were discovered to be a part of the problem, and redo nearly half of our lawn, including the grading where pooled water has been noted when we’ve had rain. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. (Unfortunately having difficulty uploading photos.)

We have had Great Lakes do multiple jobs for us, including snow plowing in the winter. They always do excellent work, and I can't recommend them enough.

We have used them for landscaping, aerating, seeding, fertilizing, and many other smaller jobs here and there.

We had a fantastic experience with Great Lakes Landscaping. After two previous rounds of landscaping projects with another company on our wooded lot, we wanted to clean up a significant amount of space occupied by buckthorn and weeds to be replaced with trees, plantings, wildflowers, etc. The entire process was great. Our salesperson Tom was prompt to reply, easy to work with, and handled our revision requests with no issues. The installation crew was also top-notch—professional, respectful, and friendly. The quality of their work is excellent, and we are thrilled with the end result. Highly recommend.

Met Owner Ryan on very first visit, very kind he listened to our needs and helped navigate most cost effective yet perfect plan. . Team leader Cesar and crew did an amazing job creating a stone parking area along side my barn, in addition to laying new sod and stone the length of the barn. Highly recommend this company . Communication was also incredible through the entire process.

I had GL come back out to Landscape the front. The crew that came out today was as professional and hardworking as the crew that did the trimming of my bushes in the fall. The link didn't allow me to rate this job but it was also 5 ++ stars. Highly recommend Great Lakes Landscaping. Superior quality on plants, mulch, courteous communication, just the best all around.

Great Lakes did a fantastic job on our landscaping project! We had a ton of ugly, outdated decorative stone which they removed, then graded and mulched and fixed the downspouts/drainage in front of our house. It looks amazing. Somehow got it done in only 2 days, and the guys were all super nice and professional.

I had an amazing team out here to do some grading around the house. They were so friendly and polite and did just a great job getting our lawn restored to an even flat plain. They worked efficiently and professionally. I was really impressed with how well they supported each other in their various roles. The team was made up of Alan, Chisoforo, and Leshawn. I will definitely be inviting them back to do more landscaping work in the spring.
