Ken is a liar and a very poor business owner. Despite several attempts to have him send an actual invoice to my address, he refused to do so. He would not provide an invoice showing dates of service. He would not mail me any kind of invoice. He just threatens to "show up at my house" to collect money he claims I owe him.

I specifically told him to not come anywhere near my house. To please mail me an invoice and I will gladly pay it. He refused to provide such an invoice and he said he will be waiting for me at my house for me to get there wether I like it or not. He is a thug. Nothing less.

I have screenshots of our conversation if anyone doubts me.

This is all on top of the terrible service provided. They scalped my grass, said the cut it when they actually didn't and dumped grass clippings directly into my garbage can, which I then got notified by the city of.

Don't waste your time with this company . I used them for snowplowing at my business for 2 years . The first year was average at best with a couple of no shows on their part and snow piled where it wasn't supposed to be ( by contract ) . The second year they plowed the first snowfall , but they were a no-show for the rest of the season. The agreement was they would have the lot plowed before the business was supposed to open , but that never happened . I ended up plowing my own lot in order to open the business on time . Ken is full of excuses as to why they weren't there , and he cashed all of the checks ( prepay starting in November with late winter this year ), and in the end was not even returning my phone call .

I had been dealing with an incomplete project since October which was supposed to be completed in 5 days. I finally had to fire Ken and his company due to unprofessionalism, unresponsive and terrible work.

I am extremely upset about this project. After so many delays even though there were beautiful days up to December it remained incomplete. The day he said his workers were going to "bust out" the patio, they only did the little walk and moved pavers in the back. They showed up at 3 and were gone by 5pm. When they work, it's for a couple hours with the exception of maybe one day where they showed up in the morning. That's why this project was taking so long.
They dragged their feet the entire project. A project he said was 5 days max. I was tired of the excuses.

Ken didn't respond to texts the first 6 weeks and then started to do some work after changing the project and getting more deposit. He charged more for additional labor in removing tree roots on top of the original tree costs. And he never told me how much he would reduce the cost since the driveway needed concrete instead of pavers. I couldn't get into my garage because he left sand in front of it. It's since been cleared but that was just one of several problems with this guy and company. Another was leaving dirt and debris in the street for 2 weeks!

The work was reviewed by 2 other contractors who both said he never dug deep enough for the driveway or patio. The walkway he put it is already eroding and was done indirectly and needs to be taken out.

Ken will get you with a really low bid then tack on more to the project as you go. A lot more, while he works on other projects or whatever but dragging his feet in addition to doing terrible work. Do yourself a favor and CCAP Ken and his business to see how many times he's been sued in court. I should have. Terrible business. Save your money. Also heed the reviews here. Especially the negative ones and ask yourself whether those positive ones weren't written by family and friends.

This is an update on 5/24 to Ken's response. The cold weather excuse is a lie. There was paver work he could have done and the weather was fine on several occasions up until December. He's a liar. Never gave me a discount and even charged me extra. I threatened stopped payment and other contractors because Ken never came. When they did it would be for a couple hours. The new contractor finished in 4 days. They had to undo his shoddy work.

Now Ken has filed bankruptcy so I and other creditors cannot recoup work not done. I will file with better business bureau. Dont Believe me CCAP him. Kenyatta Bell.

I have to say, them young man did 1 hell of a job and I’m proud of what they did. I truly recommend anyone who needs lawn service, to reach out to Ken’s 4 seasons. Thank yall for the amazing service.

After contacting Ken’s 4 Seasons via Homeguide he was the first to get back to me the next day and offered to come out for an estimate. Two days earlier I had left messages with four other landscape companies I found via Web advertising and hadn’t heard a peep from any of them - I really didn’t expect to since this was in Aug 2021 when everything related to the housing market was going nuts, with major shortages of both labor and materials. I just had an offer to purchase fall through due to an inspector calling out a railroad tie retaining wall which was rotted and falling apart. I was afraid I’d have to wait months or pay a huge bonus to get this taken care of in a reasonable time so I could get the house back on the market without having to lower the price. I signed a work order with Ken’s 4 seasons four days later and his crew did the demo of the old wall three days later when promised and cleaned up everything the same day. They began construction of the new red block wall two days later as promised. They had finished the shorter section of the wall and laid the first course of blocks for the base of the taller section. After the crew finished around 2PM Saturday I checked the work already done for level and it was spot on over the entire wall. The wall was completed when promised the following Monday after the crew worked past 7PM. The finished wall looks fantastic and gives the entire backyard a new perspective. The house is back on the market at the original price!

We recently had our yard beds cleaned, grass planted, and 20 yards of mulch put down in all of our beds. We found Ken very up front, honest, and prompt with his work. The staff that was here for 8 hours worked efficiently and we found them very personable. I would recommend Ken's service to anyone looking for help with their lawns and or beds.

Great experience. Ken answered his phone when I called the first time and then met me at my house within 30 minutes to look at the project. It was a small project but the crew showed up on time and completed the project in just a couple hours the next day; it would have taken me an entire weekend or more. I recommend Ken's 4 Season Group, LLC for your next landscaping project.

Ken and his team have done multiple jobs over the years including landscaping as well as a beautiful retaining wall. Always honest and reputable and backs his work. I would highly recommend!!!

For 8 years I have used his tree cutting , timming and pruning service. Jobs have been in Milwaukee and at my house in Menomonee Falls. He will go above what the job requires. I will always use his service going forward. Brian W.

Do not hire this company. Ken started and failed to complete a retaining wall project for me in Milwaukee. He did not pull any of the required permits despite telling me he did. The city got involved, and Ken argued with the city’s inspector. This landed me in trouble with the city - thanks Ken. Ultimately I had to hire another landscaper to finish the work because Ken walked off the job after taking my payment. We sued Ken and his company and were awarded a $10,000 judgement that he will never pay us. Check his name in the local court records and you’ll find a long list of former customers who have sued and been awarded judgments - that he will also never pay.

Ken's 4 Season Group has a great team who are hard-working, kind and knowledgeable. Ken is very hands-on. Ken produced several designs and helped us make our dreams come true. The quality of work was top-notch, especially the attention to detail. I'd recommend Ken's 4 Season Group to anyone.

Ken left a quote on my door to cut down and remove storm damaged tree branches. He said he was in the area and had a chipper and a dump truck to remove the branches. When he arrived with his crew, he had brought a standard bed pick up truck. Upon arrival, he said my job was too small to bring a dump truck or a chipper. He could not fit the cut branches in his truck so he piled them in my front yard and said that he would pick them up tomorrow. I agreed and informed him that I would pay him tomorrow when the job was finished. Ken call me after he left and informed me that he was insulted that I did not trust him. I explained that I don't pay anyone for a job until it is finished. He told me that he was NOT going to come back and remove the cut branches like he agreed. He told me to keep the money and not contact him again. I texted him requesting that he come and finish the job he started. I want to pay him, and I want him to be a man of his word. He will NOT be back to finish what he started. WOW. Ken just responded to my review. He insinuates that I am a racist. I looked up his google reviews and saw his picture before I hired him. I was not not surprised as he said. This man is a liar and a poor businessman. He did not bring the proper truck to remove the tree limbs that he cut. Now, in his response, he chooses to use the race card to avoid the truth that he was frustrated because I requested him to finish the job before he was paid. WOW. This man is a liar and a dishonest small business owner. What a shame. Now I have to cut up and remove the branches myself.

Ken's 4 Season Group was quick to reply, quick to clean up, and did an excellent job!!! His team was top notch. They did an excellent job in my yard after the 8-10 storm knocked down 3 trees in my yard! I highly recommend Ken's 4 season group.

Fantastic job. Communicated well throughout the whole process and they went above and beyond. Had two dead trees removed and three stumps grinded, and they did an amazing job. It looks like we have a brand new yard. Ken is great to work with and his crew is hard working and dedicated.
