Owner lies and doesn't stick to his word. Simply pick someone else to use, he likes to promise the world and can't deliver. Go with anyone else.

Gave them one star only because I had too. Had a contract with them for snow removal and they never showed up or returned any phone calls. Left us hanging in the middle of the winter. Terrible customer service!

Owner tells you something and they'll do the work because they made a mistake, for no cost, then does the work and bills you. Unethical and he straight up lies. DO NOT use this company.

You WILL get scammed. First, they overcharged us by doubling our bill. We came to a compromise and we demanded a final lien waiver. They just sent us another bill 5 months later for work which was covered in the lien waiver. We are having to get a lawyer involved now.

Northern Exposure is a valued and dependable Landscaping company. They have served our landscaping needs for over 10 years and consistently exceeded expectations. They are proactive in making suggestions for home maintenance/improvements, solving problem areas, and future planning to enhance the value of our property. In addition, very responsive to any urgent requests.

Literally just use anyone else before ending up with Northern Exposure. Multiple issues with both performance and responsiveness. Tore up the grass in spots in our yard trying to mow too fast, and were unresponsive went we asked them to fix it. They then cancelled our contract the next year (after they pushed us to renew our contract, and after the paper work was signed), even though we started that discussion before the season, they took 7 weeks to respond to our email to which they then responded saying they weren't going to show up and were going to cancel the contract. Left us scrambling for a landscaper late in the season. Would avoid using this company at all costs. They clearly do not care about how they treat their customers.

I hired this company for a new construction lawn install last fall. I moved into my house end of August and called 17 different landscape companies. Most would not even give me a bid, stating that they were too busy, booked through late Spring/Summer of 2021. The bids I did get were high and limited to half of my half acre lot. So I expanded my search radius and came upon Northern Exposure. Let me tell you, from the moment I reached out I was thrilled with this company. They provided a very reasonable bid, excellent and efficient work, they booked the job the week following my acceptance of the bid and it was never more than 24 hours without a response to email or calls. The crew worked efficiently, and had my lawn growing from hydroseed in four days. I could not have been happier with the service and I am actually currently looking to hire them again for more work.

Our condo complex started using Northern Exposure summer of 2023. They have provided poor quality and poor customer service. They have failed to trim bushes and flowers that need it in Spring and then cut down flowers/bushes that did not need to be cut which resulted in destroying so we could not enjoy this summer. Both times we called to have them rectify the problems and both times they ignored us and did not make things right. Their weed whacking is poor, missing spots, and in some cases just not doing it at all. I had a lounge chair in my yard that I would usually move for them. Since they rarely come on the same date/same time it's hard to know when to move it. If I don't move it for them they will not move. They will cut around and miss several areas and then weed whack around the lounge chair. I would never recommend this company.

We finished a project over a year ago in our house in Glendale. We spent the winter discussing it with their sales rep/manager who was never able to give us a proper diagram or pricing because “you never really know until you get into it.” Our 5 day spring project began in late June and took only 5 days to complete - they just neglected to tell me that those five days would be spread over a month. In the end, the work was first rate and the crew was excellent. We have no complaints about that. The final accounting was a bit suspect and - without question - their sales rep was unreliable and unresponsive. For the quality of work and final results , we give highest marks; for the angst and frustration of getting to that point..:let’s just say we wouldn’t do that again.

I decided to work with Northern Exposure just about 365 days ago. Had a good relationship (so I thought) with the owner, and the job most likely would have taken a day/half a day, the quote was received/signed and sent in. I generously waited for 2 months after confirmation. After following up multiple times, management kept saying I was "on the board/next up"...well that next up never came.
I will be going with someone else obviously for the job this year, but fair warning if you are looking for an unreliable landscaping company- Northern Exposure is it.👎

I had my patio done 3 years ago. As I sit outside, enjoying my coffee, I feel grateful. This space is beautiful. Northern Exposures team did an incredible job. They helped me design the space & executed my vision perfectly. They were easy to work with. We are very pleased still, years later.

I cannot say enough about the great experience we’ve had with Northern Exposure. They have assisted us with landscape design and maintenance, tree removal, holiday lighting and many other projects over the years. The entire crew is top notch and their attention to detail always exceeds expectations. Very happy with their service!

I have used this company for several years. The lawn service is ok but they mow way too fast. Regardless, at the beginning of each season, I sign the same contract for lawn services, including fall clean up. For the second year in a row, it is the end of November (with snow in the forecast) and the fall clean up has not been done. I have called several times with no return call. My lawn is a complete mess. I dread how things will look in the spring. I have attached several pictures. I am extremely disappointed and done with this company. Avoid.

We have worked with Northern Exposure Landscape and Design Company for about 3 years. They help us with planting and yard maintenance, irrigation maintenance, and ice & snow removal. Hard-working and respectful, it is a pleasure to interact with their entire team. Their communication is top-notch and they provide a great service value.
