Russ came out around 7pm in 0 weather and gave me an honest diagnosis and actions steps to fixing my furnace. Very happy with the work and the timeliness of the fix. Price was nice also!

Alpha was very responsive and came out within a day of calling. He was on time and very pleasant to deal with. Was honest about what was the issue with the leaking of water between our furnace and AC unit and did a thorough check of everything to be sure that he was correct. He explained the issue in detail in easy and understandable terms. Fix was simple. Would highly recommend calling Alpha anytime you have concerns with your furnace or AC!

Each business is responsible to be fair, honest and commendable. Alpha may be these things but they are also responsible to adhere to or say no to an industry standard that is neither, fair nor commendable--the trip charge and diagnostic fee. I paid $136 for advice, and while it may have been honest advice, it was not work that money. In today's world of economic trouble and possible recession, we need to find businesses that set a moral standard apart from the rest. Just because you can charge a certain amount, does not mean that it is right. I can appreciate the response time to come out ahead of schedule. But if we do the math, at $129.95 an hour it equates to an annual salary of $270,296. Most people are not at that level of earning. If the 15 minute analysis was used as a baseline, that would be $519.80 an hour. If I were to call a carpenter and ask him to bid a job or troubleshoot something ( as I have done) there is no trip charge, nor is there any diagnostic fee associated with this, although he does much the same thing in his business. Recently I had 4 roofing companies come out and investigate work needed. Each provided a clear analysis, paperwork, some used drone photos of my roof. I paid nothing in trip charges or diagnostic fees and can say that they were all here longer than the time spent by Alpha. Why is this?
