Had leaking from the chimney - got many quotes to fix the bricks and mortar, was referred by someone on fb to call this company Kyle was responsive and came out quick they ran numbers and the pricing was extremely fair and they were great at explaining what they recommend to replace. They replaced my brick for aluminum chimney and have not had any leaks since and that was about 9 months ago! They were friendly and I continue to recommend them to friends and family.

We had a leak around around our chimney, going into our attic. We struggled finding someone to perform the work before the winter, and at a good price. We called Milwaukee Chimney and Roof, and John was able to give me a quote the same day, without coming to the house (I'm sure this is circumstantial).
Unlike other companies, John picked up his phone every time I called. His crew was on time, professional, and quick! They cleaned up after they finished the job, and made sure we were satisfied before they left.
So far we are very satisfied with the company, and would definitely recommend.

We had an inspection done on the fireplace in our new home. The home inspector indicated there was damage to a portion of the fireplace, but they didn't find any issues. They didn't even charge us for the visit. I appreciated their honestly and I would definitely contact them again if we have any issues in the future.

These guys were great! I called around 5pm when my AC went out on the first 95 degree day of the year. Mike showed up about an hour later. Quotes me a price that was more than fair, and when it came to our install day a week later the workers were polite and unobtrusive. The new AC and furnace are running like a dream. 5/5 would recommend

A-1 is awesome! My A/C stopped working and Mike came same day I called. Had a Freon leak and I opted to refill. He informed me that it might not last long, well he was right-it lasted 3 days. I ended up replacing my A/C, called them on Monday and Wednesday had it installed. Dave was very professional and answered all my questions (even the stupid ones). A-1’s price was reasonable. I will definitely be using A-1 if I have any issues with my heating.

A-1 heating and cooling was amazing! I had originally went through a different company when our ac went out last week, they came in and told us our unit was over 20 years old and needed to be replaced. The previous company could not give us a date on how long it would be and price quoted us very high. I had called A-1 and spoke to Mike and he said he could have the unit ready to install on Monday and give us a lower price. The technicians were efficient and came right in the morning which was great because this was the hottest day yet. Would absolutely recommend!

I needed after hours services and they were quick to come out and resolve my problem. A little bit on the higher price side compared to others but they got the job done!

I highly recommend Mike and his team! He was super responsive and they got back to me fast after the major floods in Milwaukee in Aug 10 despite having tons of houses to service. It seemed almost too good to be true that he would give advice for free, but he did even before I committed to hiring A-1. They're honest and don't take advantage of customers who are vulnerable because of lack of knowledge of their home's hvac systems. They repaired what they could and explained everything step by step, so I would know they were being honest about their assessment. The technician who helped me was friendly and sensitive to how stressed out I was. Very patient with me and all my questions. Feeling very grateful!

I got a new furnace after the old one was beyond repair. A-1 gave prompt service for a last minute call. Some vendors don't even acknowledge a call. I was sold on the Lenox brand when they sold me on the warranty and parts. I would definitely refer them to others in the future

Derim at A-1 Milwaukee Heating and cooling was quick to come for an estimate to replace 2 furnaces and even quicker to get the job done. With a tight time frame and winter fast approaching, I appreciated his professionalism and expertise. Highly Recommend him and his team.

Mike was here, on a weekend no less (!), five hours after we called. He arrived within the times promised and called when he was 10 minutes away. He was very professional introducing himself and his co-worker. Mike quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He shared that we had a two-stage furnace and we were only running one stage.

The furnace is 14 years old and depending on the cost of the repair and service my husband and I were considering buying a new furnace now. He charged us an extremely reasonable fee for a part and their time. Mike also shared that, as we suspected, we would need a new furnace soon. He shared furnace costs including install. They were higher than we had thought and he shared that they had gone up during the pandemic. This will allow us to budget.

I would definitely recommend Mike. He was friendly, knowledgeable, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it just as quickly. He charged a reasonable fee and advised us on purchase of a replacement furnace for our 14 year-old one.

I was able to do a DIY repair to my furnace, however needed a bit of expert experience to finish the job. Service, promptness and price all outstanding. Definitely recommended and we will use A-1 again for HVAC.

Absolutely incredible customer service. The first and only business I called that didn't have an AI assistant on the other end or an automated voice line to direct your call. A real person answered my call, and was one of the most helpful people I've ever gotten to spoken to with a service company like this.

Couldn't recommend more, will definitely be calling these guys in the future for anything I need!
