My heat went out suddenly during Thanksgiving weekend, and Mike was an absolute lifesaver. Even with his busy schedule, he made time to come out and take a look at my furnace. He quickly identified the issue, located the part we needed, and came back just a few hours later to fix everything.

Called on a Saturday and they gave me a time. We were able to get our furnace going ourselves. We called and canceled and he said that is fine and asked what we did. He told us he would have done the same. Said it sounded like it could be this. Told us to call him back if it should go out again and would walk me through where to find the problem so we could change it ourselves

In early February 2026, one cold morning we awoke to a cold house. We called A-1 Heating and Cooling, and they responded that same morning a couple hours after we called.
The next day A-1H&C installed a new furnace in our home!

I was glad it was mike who answered my call. I had an idea what might be wrong with the furnace, Mike got right to work allowing me to watch and learn what needed to be fixed. I loved the full transparency. He absolutely did not try to up sell parts. My furnace fully fixed. If I have an issue I will definitely call mike.

If it weren’t for A-1 Heating and Cooling, my wife and I would have been scammed out of $4,000.

Right before the first snow storm of the year, our furnace decided to stop working. We called a different company to come out to fix it and that was a big mistake. They claimed to have fixed things (which it turns out they did not) and we were heavily pressured to immediately pay in full $4,000 for a new furnace. This, among many other things, raised a lot of red flags for us so we decided to call A-1 for a second opinion/second quote.

When I explained the situation with A-1 they informed me that what we just experienced with that other company is a common scam and we were very lucky that we trusted our gut. From the first phone call all the way to the new furnace install, they were amazing. The communication is top notch and the cost was very reasonable. They have even gone above and beyond to help us fight the other company for the repairs they charged us for that they didn’t complete.

Every homeowner needs a reputable company to call when things break that you have no business fixing yourself. A-1 is that company for us & we hope that it will also be that company for you. You won’t find this level of honesty and integrity anywhere else.

I called A-1 on Monday and they would have sent someone out the following day but due to my schedule we decided on Wednesday. Punctual and efficient. Before the end of business Wednesday I had my quote and decided to move forward. The crew arrived a little early, which was great. I had heat in less than 6 hours. I am pleased with everything. Mike was very honest when he gave me my quote. Not the cheapest and not the most expensive but affordable. I would definitely recommend A-1 to anyone in need of assistance. I could not be happier with the service I received. I needed a new furnace fast as it is in single digits.
They were able to put in new for me within a day of mine dying. Only took them like an hour and a half too! My house is warm and I so pleased.
The installers were fast, professional and kind. I will be calling them for all future problems! And the warranty is awesome too.

I had a great experience with A1. They came out to look at an issue with my furnace and were very professional and honest throughout the process. After inspecting the problem, they gave me a fair price for the repair and clearly explained what might need attention in the future. I really appreciated that they didn’t try to upsell me on anything unnecessary and took the time to answer my questions. It’s hard to find companies that are both knowledgeable and trustworthy, and this was definitely one of them. Highly recommend!

My experience with A-1 was very smooth. We had some inspection repairs in a house that we have for sale that needed to be done right away. I called them and they had a technician give a quote the same day and they finished the job next day which was running an air duct to a second bathroom because there was no heat source. Good communication and good work!

Furnace went down on me around christmas time. I tried to DIY it myself at first, when I should have just called A-1 Milwaukee heating and cooling. I went about 7 days waiting on a part to try to fix it myself. They came out after I could not fix it myself. They replaced my whole furnace, fixed all the issues the old furnace had with being installed wrong. They came out on a friday. And were able to install and have it all fixed by noon on a saturday. They were straightforward with me about everything. And even worked with the pricing with me knowing I was on a budget. For them to install a brand new furnace, move the gas lines install new duck work i didnt have to break the bank. I should of called them from the start but thought I knew what needed to be fixed but it was such an old furnace. Great employees owner everything was great from communication to politeness. Now my family can stay warm. And everything is warrantied. Thank you again for starting my new year off right. I appreciate everything.
