I was stuck in the snow on Segoe Road on Sunday January 29th at about 1 pm. I sat there for an hour until 2 young men in an Olson Toon truck saw me struggling and stopped and helped me…3 minutes later I was out and in great shape! Thank you to your amazing, good hearted employees! If they treat a stranger like this, imagine how they treat their customers. I highly recommend.

OT underbid and overcharged us on multiple different phases of our project without upfront or proactive communication...including one phase where the installer decided to "upgrade" us without asking our permission, leaving us to pay thousands extra for an upgrade we neither asked for nor wanted. While the quality of the landscaping work itself is great, the way they handle the business side of things left us disappointed.

After leaving this review, an owner did reach out in an attempt to rectify the concerns, and a billing compromise was reached. So they get some credit for being responsive to concerns in the end, though it shouldn't take a negative review for a company to do the right thing.

We recently used Olson Toon and couldn’t be more pleased. Ryan, from that start, was exceptionally helpful in designing and planning out our project. He was patient as I changed my mind on things and went back and forth, and offered his honest and helpful opinion when needed.

We started out with a weed bed (we had 3 huge pine trees taken down) and a torn up yard from septic replacement. Our project scope expanded a bit as we realized instead of waiting another year or two to do some additional upgrades, it would be best to just do it all at once - and that we did.

We couldn't be more impressed with the crew that came to do the work: Quinn, Noah and another gentleman (I can't remember his name) worked so hard and were super professional. They cleaned up each day beyond what we would have expected. Ryan stopped by to check in regularly - it was really cool to see the plans come to life, with their team making adjustments as they went, to make the end product perfect. It really seemed like they all took pride in what they were doing, also enjoying seeing the work come together to the final product.

There were also folks from the irrigation team that helped repair our broken irrigation system, so that was able to be up and running for our new grass. They were great and super helpful as well.

Still today, we have people that stop when walking (and driving) by to tell us how nice everything looks. We will always recommend Olson Toon for any landscaping/lawn care needs. They exceeded our expectations, and that is because of the great people they have working for them.

Ryan has been great in helping us work to maintain the lawn post project as well. Their people go above and beyond. If you’re thinking if going with Olson Toon, do it. You won’t be disappointed.

We could not have had a better experience with Olson Toon. We hired them to redo our patio and take down a 100+ year old Oak on the front yard. When the Oak had other ideas and came down on its own, covering our whole driveway on LABOR DAY SUNDAY. Olson Toon was there in less than an hour to remove it when insurance said they would have someone available to take a look at it on Wednesday,

I initially worked with Olson Toon through Acker Builders in executing my landscape plan for my new build in October of 2024.
Unfortunately our winter was such that there was no snow cover to adequately insulate the perennials and then a killer freeze which left some for dead.
In cane Amber to the rescue! How wonderful for me that there was a warranty on the plants & trees through their vendors. They had hundreds of clients they had to work through this with. Amber was onsite; was not sure exactly when they’d be getting the perennials in, but was always communicating with me about the situation.
And now, voila, Amber’s warranty team was in and out in a couple of hours and the landscaping looks fantastic!

Just wrapped up our new home landscaping project with Olson Toon and can't tell you how pleased we were with each step of the process. Worked with Karen S. on design and planning and she came out and gave us ideas and solutions to some problems we hadn't even thought about. Final quote was detailed and straightforward so we both knew what the project covered. Once weather broke, they put the best crew on our yard. They followed the plans to a tee, communicated well anytime an issue came up and left every day with our property picked up, cleaned up, and organized. Attention to detail exceeded our expectations! The finished it up with a watering plan for our investment in sod that required zero attention from us (don't underestimate how much time is involved if you do this yourself, let them do it). I give them my highest recommendation!

They are great to work with! They did the landscaping for our house when we built 15 years ago and we just used them again for our backyard project as well as every year to maintain our irrigation system. I have had many interactions with Olson Toon in the past 11 years as I live about a half a mile from them.

The company provides their services to many of the neighbors in my neighborhood and since I am home all day and walk my dogs often I see them frequently.

They are very safe, careful and courteous when driving their lawnmowers around the yards and roads around the neighborhood. (In a rare case or two sometimes this is not always the case with other landscaping companies people hire).

On a very hot humid day I was out trying to trim the branches off one of the trees near the curb in front of my house and one of the landscapers stopped working on a lawn and came over to help me since I was not able to get the blade on the pole correctly.

When I used to go running and my route was on the road where their office is located the truck drivers were always so courteous and would pull way way over to the side of the road to give me as much room as possible and wave.

When I needed to get some tree branches trimmed I knew right where to go!

One of their employees was driving very aggressively on the beltline and followed extremely close behind me. If I would have had to brake for any reason, they would’ve absolutely rear-ended me, and that could have been a fatal crash. I would never trust someone like that near my property. I went to leave this review and someone else had a similar experience with the year. Clearly this company was not successful in addressing this behavior.

Called because of flat bed with a trailer loosing items and bouncing off of cars. Tried to warn the driver but the older gentleman looked to be wearing muffs. Called every extension you had and not one answer. Hope the drivers of the dinged vehicles get better communication out of yalll.

I'm not sure what is going on with them. I've emailed, called and left voicemails 4 times over the past 2 months just to inquire about snow removal service this year but no one ever gets back to me. They definitely were not like this a couple years ago. Previously, we always talked to Tasha directly. Now it's an automated phone service and no one ever gets back to you. No one responds to emails. Take your money elsewhere.

We have been customers of Olson Toon for over ten years. They installed the landscaping for our new home, have provided annual maintenance, and most recently installed our pool last summer. They provide very high quality work and are a pleasure to work with. The design process was easy and fun. Their administrative staff is detail oriented and quickly responds to inquiries. The crews who have worked on our jobs are friendly, professional, and have maintained a clean work site. Work was done on time and on budget. We give them our highest recommendation!

You really need to hire guys that know how to drive.

Great and timely work, very professional. They've gone above and beyond for us on several occasions (e.g. Removing a huge tree branch that fell in a wind storm). I highly recommend!

They cut my cable. They left the rocks in yard and smoothed over them and somehow managed to rip my grill cover and wouldnt replace it for me. They seeded instead of sod and didnt put enough seed or hay down. Told my husband to water it so the hay wouldnt blow away but in 50 mile an hour winds that didnt work either. Said they would come back but never did
