Sheldon was excellent. Great attitude and great work even though he was stuck working until 8pm to finish our job. Will recommend to friends and family and would give him a call again.

I hired Best handyman to replace all my old galvanized water pipes to copper.this was a fairly big job.
I called to schedule estimate, Jim came out on time, was polite and respectful (which is already a few steps ahead of other contractors I had seen} and seemed very capable and confident in his abilities. He inspected and quoted a fair price. so I went ahead and hired them to come out in 2 weeks.
during the 2 weeks I had had a few questions for them, and each time my phone calls were returned in a timely manner, and my questions answered.
Jim came to do the job, showed up at the agreed time and did exactly what was discussed and the price was as quoted.
I have to add one note,,,,This was a big job and he worked VERY hard and completely attacked the job. WELL DONE!!!!!

I've owned my home for over 30 years, and, I'm not a kid anymore, so I've seen a good share of contractors. However, I've never met anyone like Sheldon who is honest, very hardworking, and reasonable. He and his crew do EVERYTHING, including but not limited to masonry, landscaping structural change, roofing, gutter cleaning and in my case, cable installation in my roof and gutters. They clean up the site afterwards, and are professional throughout. Sheldon is now my go-to guy for any future project.

Got a prompt response and Rick came the next day to look at what I needed done ( replace 2 exterior thresholds and paint a door) & said he’d email the estimate by that evening. Five days later and 2 emails to the company and no response and no estimate. I won’t be doing business with this company. Take your chances.

High quality and professional! The water heater replacement was urgent. The service call assessment as predicted, required a new water heater. It was purchased, delivered and installed expeditiously. I have called on Best Handyman for several tasks all of which were completed in a professional friendly manner.

I needed help with a flooded basement. I thought my sump pump had died. Dan N. came out and made some adjustments to the sump pump and told me I did not need to replace it. He also cleaned up all the water in my basement. He was on time and very helpful. I would certainly ask for him by name the next time I have any projects.

We had to replace our mail box post that had deteriorated. We called Sheldon who came and gave us a free estimate immediately. His company was here the very next day. They took out the old cemented post and replaced it with a new cemented post with two new mail boxes. We are very happy with their professionalism and plan to have them do more projects for us.

I had numerous small jobs . All done in a couple hours . Great communication before the project,(setting up an appointment to look over the jobs, etc.) He showed up on time, cleaned up and was very polite. Plus he was great with all 3 of my animals being there.
I know i have more jobs to be done. As a matter of fact I started the list before he got to his car.

So you come to my house and promise to give me an estimate by end of the week (aka 2 days, this is not some major commercial project). I don't hear from you for a week and a half despite calling and emailing multiple times. Then I get a call saying how sorry you are and I'll get the estimate by end of day or following day. And then it still takes almost a week to get it after that. The cherry on top is the estimate is literally outrageous. Thankfully I found another company that quoted me literally a third of the cost, they actually took photos of some of the projects that they needed to prep for, they seemed interested in the job, and they were much more pleasant to deal with in person. I understand that my list may not be your $50k commercial project or some glamorous project to add to your portfolio, but it's a job that you supposedly should be able to do, and at the very least be respectful of my time and my willingness to hire you to do a job that should be easy for you to do. Seriously, what a waste of my time. No thank you and never again. ;(

I recently had Best Handyman clean out my gutters and a new ceiling fan installed. They were very prompt, courteous and clean. I will be using them for future projects and highly recommend them. The work completed was very professionally done.

Similar experience to the previous reviewer in regards to poor communication and having a difficult time actually getting an estimate - we had TWO separate employees from this company come to our house two separate times to look at the work we wanted done, I still have not received ANY estimate. This has been going on for over a month at this point, and it's been a complete waste of my time.
We actually had multiple jobs around our house we were looking to have done ranging from repainting some trim work, to a partial bathroom remodel, so I assumed this would be a decent or larger job for them, but they apparently have no interest in actually working with us. The owner has not even responded to my last emails asking for an update.
We will be contacting other companies to have the work done on our home.

Really outstanding service: timely, experienced, affordable. They let you know when they are coming, they arrive when promised, and they take care to explain options and costs.

We're repairing a bathroom in our beloved 1906 Queen Anne. We needed a half wall repaired with green board, and the drywall contractors in the area were not responsive. Best Handyman MKE sent Justin to do the repairs. Justin listened to our concerns and questions, did a great job of explaining our options for repair, made great suggestions, and did solid, timely work. We called again to have him come back for a second job involving the wall and tile where the old cove base molding had been torn out. We are really pleased with the work he did.

The Best Handyman team made my random home improvements so easy! From the quick response to set up a free estimate, to the impressive work they did on my projects around the house, to the helpfulness in getting me all the additional paperwork I needed for closeout. I highly suggest giving Best Handyman a call!

My projects included a shutter install, replacement of a bathroom faucet, installation of a storm door, and replacement of my garage man door.

Affordable, attention to detail, and great customer service!

I have been working with Chad for best handy man who does beautiful work. He has repaired plumbing issues for me and install lighting fixtures inside and outside of my home. The work is well done and he cleans up after he's done. I am a very happy customer who would recommend this company for any job. I will continue to use them for any projects I have in the future.

We had some work done on the outside of our house. We had fascia board sanded and painted and shutters painted. We also had some cosmetic work done. Chad was excellent. He was extremely professional and his work was first class! We are VERY pleased and would call on Best Handyman again for future work!

I called Best Handyman on Monday and had the appointment set for Thursday at 9am to 10am. Chad came and had my plumbing issue fixed within an hour. He was very nice, professional and did an excellent job. Price was very fair as well. I will definitely call upon their services again and would highly recommend them.
