I just received the bill for a same day visit for a small sewage back up in the basement. TWO people arrived, a plumber and “helper” as listed on the invoice. They arrived shortly after 2:00 pm and completed the work by 2:45 pm. Courteous. They ran sewer and floor drain and flushed with water. Cleaned up. Did not put things back where found after moving them though. They are billing me $509.57. Charging for me for 1.75 hours of work? I live about 3 miles from their office so even with travel it would not total 1.75 hours. $157.50 for the “helper”—who is this and why were they there? Was not told I would be paying labor for two. $290.50 for the plumber and $35 for unspecified materials. I find this to be dishonest and exorbitant. Will be filing complaint with DATCP and BBB.

After over 17+ years of using this company, I couldn't believe that they would gouge me. Last year's experience did it for me. They will never be in my home again.

Simple kitchen faucet replacement. For the faucet, they charge me 100% more than what I could have gotten on Amazon. And I'm sure that wasn't even their parts cost.

That was on top of their padding the labor hours for trip charges. And of course, in all of those past years, I have noticed how their labor hour cost have gone up significantly.

My advise. Shop around. I feel gouged.

They know how to handle old Wauwatosa houses for sure. Since buying our house we’ve had them out to help install antique replica fixtures to our claw foot tub, install a new water heater and get our dishwasher plumbing up to code. Highly recommend.

This week we came home after being away and found our outside hose bibb had cracked and had been gushing water for 8 hours, we turned off the pipe indoors and got the water to stop but had flooding in our basement just due to the sheer amount of water on the outside wall. We called VIP and they promptly came. We wanted to see if there was any other damage to our piping internally and to locate if that was the only issue. The employee from VIP was here for 15 minutes, said he could replace the hose bib, said our guess was right. When we called to schedule there was no information about them charging just to come out and we weren't told pricing until we got a bill in the mail. The bill was for over $200 dollars. The average price for a hose bib is $10. We were frustrated with the low level of service, lack of insight, and excessive pricing for 15 minutes of something, honestly I could've done myself. Won't be using them again.

This company overcharged me for work and did not supply an estimate for approval. After several unanswered emails, I called to discuss this was met with very unprofessional and threatening language. Then I was hung up on. Be aware that this company charges $166.00/hr for travel time and they also tack on "material" charges for maintenance of their equipment. I was charged 2.25 hours for a simple sewer clean out that required 50 minutes of labor. In addition there was a $45.00 material charge that is included in every job. I will not be calling this company again and I feel mistreated.

Our kitchen had this slow leaking, like a week a coffee cup leak, nothing major. I asked them to take a look. Tech came over, took 2 seconds and told me I need a new disposal. I told him our house is only 5 year old new house. Ask him can he just replace the strainer. The guy said no. Then I told him leave it, told him I will call my builder to replace it. I can tell he was upset. The guy stayed on our drive way for more than 20 minutes calling people. Today, I got a $152 bill in the mail for their 1 minute "service", I called the owner and was told I agreed when I first called his daughter for the price. I guess one of us is a liar. Before you call this contractor, think twice!

Our hot water heater decided to go on a Friday evening so I called Vince Ingrilli and left a message telling him the situation and to set up an appointment to have it replaced. Vince called back within 10 minutes. He was very pleasant, gave us our options for replacement, and we set up an appointment. I later received a call from Vince saying they were going to be able to come out two days earlier than our original appointment. Very impressive. Certainly will call on him for any future plumbing needs!

We had a problem on a Sunday with a clogged drain. They were very helpful, quick and did great work. We were very pleased.
However, we were misled on the cost. We were told that it was double time. Nothing was mentioned that we would have to pay for travel time. When we received the invoice we were shocked to see we were charged for 2 1/2 hours when he was only here for 1 1/2 hours tops. We called and they said travel time was added. LOL! Their shop is 4 minutes away from our home. We have always had good service from them. This was very disappointing this should be discussed upfront. You would think as a return customer they wouldn't cheat you.

Hot water heater was leaking on a Saturday afternoon. Called Vince Ingrilli and Sons Plumbing at 3:00pm, Tom arrived at 4:30pm, and finished with new install by 6:30pm. Extremely professional and courteous from the first phone call to the time he left. Would highly recommend to anyone needing any plumbing done. This is not the first time we used Vince Ingrilli and Sons Plumbing, and will 100% recommend to anyone.

Since the 1930s water heaters have had a replaceable part called the sacrificial rod that can be purchased for ~$65 and replaced by any homeowner extending the life of this essential appliance for many years.

10 years ago Vince Ingilli & Sons sold us and installed a water heater that has no access to that part that all water heaters have; requiring rehiring them to come out and take the unit apart to replace the worn out part --or-- replace the unit entirely due to damage the part causes when it is old and fails without being replaced anew.

I now dread each passing day wondering when the unit they sold me will fail and I will be on the hook for a huge expense. I was niave. I trusted them blindly. My family and I became their sacrificial lamb.

I recently encountered a leaking pipe connected to my water meter, and I must say, the service provided by Vince Ingrilli and Sons was exceptional. I sent them a picture and a video of the issue when booking the appointment. They promptly arrived and efficiently resolved the problem within minutes. Armed with the necessary supplies, they demonstrated their expertise by swiftly identifying and addressing the issue. The pricing was reasonable, making the overall experience highly satisfactory. I highly recommend Vince Ingrilli and Sons for their quick and effective plumbing solutions at a great value.

Too bad the lowest rating is ONE. Called to have a toilet installed. I was told between 11 and 1 and they would call first. No call and they were pounding on my door at 10:30. I am the first to admit my house is not the cleanest, it's pretty disgusting. The service guy looked at the toilet area and said it needed to be cleaned up. I tried, but it needed more. He also complained about the condition of my KITCHEN and a 4 pack of soda on the table that he said needed to be in the refrigerator. Since he said more cleaning needed to be done, he just left. He called my brother to say that they can't work under these conditions. What the KITCHEN had to do with replacing a toilet is beyond me. We cancelled and found another plumber who quoted a price over $300 less.

I have used Ingrilli plumbing multiple times oner the years. A week ago I had a wet spot in the ceiling. Called them and Vince came over and looked at it. Had to open the ceiling. Drain leak. Took pictures. Last week came over with a crew and in about 4 hours did a massive replacement job. Had to move and replace multiple pipes. Phenomenal. Outstanding work by these guys. Not inexpensive, but worth every penny. If you want a cheap job, call a cheap plumber and get what you pay for.

We needed to replace 70 year old water shut off valves coming into the house. One call and we had an appointment in a week, they arranged with the city to have the water turned off coming into the house and showed up right on time. Great manner, good explanations for the work done. Highly recommend them.

VIP was recommended to me years ago when we first bought our house. On inspection the palmer valve in our basement was found to be stuck. Our inspector said not every plumber knows how to work with them and they can be fragile, and gave VIP as a recommendation.

They fixed that, quickly and easily. Guy that came was friendly so I've just used them for every plumbing need ever since. They replaced a leaky seal on a toilet for us. Installed our new dishwasher and garbage disposal properly, with an air gap, cleaning up the DIY mess under the sink from previous owners. Did an emergency fix when our outside hose spigot broke and was leaking, including installing a proper shut off valve so it wouldn't happen again. I always ask their guys my stupid first time homeowner questions and they're always helpful.

Most of the negative reviews on here complain about price. But plumbing is skilled labor. And gross lol. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with some of the nasty stuff plumbers have to deal with. And VIP always does a great job, so to me they're worth it!

I’ve used these guys many times they are prompt and provide honest work. They squeezed me in today after newly installed hot water tank went out due to the Milwaukee flood. I k ow they were inundated with calls. You guys are awesome!!
