Love the plants and flowers. They are beautiful in my yard

Wide variety of outdoor plants. Limited variety of indoor plants. Several small trees and shrubs available as well. Very friendly staff and very helpful and knowledgeable.

Hunting sod all over Bessemer and everywhere is out. Someone reminded me of this nursery off Morgan Rd so I called and they had it in stock. Man working there backed my truck up for me and loaded it right up. It has taken well and is greening up beautifully. Better than the fresh delivered pallets we purchased. Good price too. Asked some customers out of curiosity if they’ve shopped here before. All were regular customers and assured me their stock was healthy. Wide variety of products. I’ll be a regular myself.

Was looking for particular kind of pepper plants, customer I met in Hoover said Pedro had them. He did & was so very nice!! He's my place from now on! It's close to my house, a real gentleman owner, good selection....great combo!

Great selection, Pedro was so incredibly sweet and helpful! I have a bad back, he helped me load up my hay, mums and pumpkins. He refused to take a tip for helping me load up my car! Prices were extremely reasonable- I can't recommend this place highly enough! It's less than 5 minutes from me. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!

What an Awesome company ! Grissom’s tree service really paid attention to detail, and took the initiative to make sure no other trees on our property were dangerous. Owner and employees really take the time and effort to do the removal right! I really appreciated the great communication and could not ask for a friendlier more professional company to do our tree removal. We rent our property currently and they did such A great job I will definitely be call them for any tree needs in my next forever home! Highly recommend!

Jason W's crew did a great job in removing a pine above our driveway today. They came on time, did the work and cleaned up all the debris. We are glad we decided on Gray's.
Also Sammy and Rodney did a great job grinding the stump.

Just excellent work. Did everything asked and more. Price was the least expensive of 5 quotes we got. My home is in Alabaster. I will use again.

The 60 ton crew came out and did an excellent job taking down 3 massive trees at my house across 2 days. While it was not a cheap, below are a few reasons I chose Gray's over others:

1) they were only tree service in the Birmingham area that had their own crane to handle my specific job
2) they not only have liability insurance but also workers comp insurance which most of the other companies don't have
3) I live on a very busy street without much parking, but the crew was able to not only cut the trees down quickly, but they also were able to haul away the lumber same-day which was really appreciated by myself (and neighbors that would have been impacted)

If you have a really large/difficult job, Gray's 60 ton crew is the answer

I have used Gray’s Tree Services at least 4 times over the last several years. They will first send someone to your home to review what needs to be done. John Mark came first to review my needs and Gavin returned later with a crew to handle the work. They clean up afterwards and haul off all the debris. They removed a dead tree today, and while they were here, removed dead limbs from several trees. They are trustworthy and competent.

This was the best experience. If I had a question I had no problem getting someone on the phone. They cleaned up their mess so well and quicker than I thought! In and out. No issues. So glad I used them.

From estimate to job done these guys were awesome. They told me they were 3 weeks out but then became available within a week so the job got done even sooner. Friendly service and quick work. I will use again in the future. Was quoted a few hundred less than one of their competitors who also slandered them when I mentioned who else I got estimates from. Thanks for a good price and great experience and also a professional attitude.

Gray’s did a great job cutting down a large oak tree by my house and trimming another. The 60 ton crew worked at my house and they were all super friendly and knowledgeable and you could tell that they wanted to do what was best for the trees instead of just jumping to recommend cutting them both down. They were quick to get the work done and cleaned up well afterwards. Thanks guys!

Our quote was favorable but the process was a mess. I called Grey's tree for at quote in early summer, I think May, and they said they would come out in a few days. No one came out until a month later (June 27) after numerous phone calls trying to get someone on site. They then said they would contact us later to schedule the removal since they were a "few weeks" backed up. No word so I called this week in September. They told me they would get paper work together and call me back. No one called after a week. I called again and now they said I need to fill out paper work to get the tree removal permit before they can schedule it. Any sensible business would have obtained permits at the time of the accepted quote and actually tried to follow up to schedule the removal in a timely manner. I have never had to chase a business down to give them $1000 in my entire life. The business operation is a complete mess.

Update - tree permit was issued 9/24. of course no one called again to schedule. I called the city myself to get the permit and called Gray's to schedule 8 days later. My tree will supposedly be removed 4 months after the initial quote, and 5 months after my initial inquiry. I'm usually very patient with businesses that make mistakes. We are all human, but this has been a long series of mistakes and I can't fathom how they are so unorganized.

I have used Gray's Tree Service twice now and have found them be always professional and trustworthy. Today the 60 ton crane crew came to my house and removed one very large tree and two smaller ones. The trees were in a challenging location to reach. However the crew had the right skills & equipment to get the job done quickly and efficiently. They explained to me how they would complete the job and kept me informed during the whole process. They coordinated with my neighbor to gain access and left mine and their property clean and in great shape. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.
