Excellent experience with this company. Matthew Craven was so communicative and kind and really helped us out. Would 100% use his tree services in the future should we need it. 5 STARS!

Update as of May 2025:

I only trust Gray’s Tree Service with pruning, trimming or removing trees from my yard. This call was to remove “sucker branches” from two oak trees. William Browder was so helpful, polite and knowledgeable of what needed to be done. Since I’m elderly and have trouble with mobility, he helped me walk to the back of my yard to see the work the men did. Gil Gray explained to me what sucker branches were, and why they needed to be removed from the trees. William went right to work, like a surgeon with a scalpel, to remove the branches without harming the trees. William wanted to make sure I was pleased before his men left. Below are “before” and “after” pictures of the work done! I highly recommend Grays Tree Service!

I have used Grays Tree Service several times and have never been disappointed! I had a small pruning job and they came on time, prepared and ready to prune my cherry tree. Keith, Thomas, Derek, Rogie and another young man came. They were respectful, professional, and did an outstanding job. Thomas amazed me how he got up in the tree and went to work. And Keith was staying on top of the crew seeing that I was pleased. I would recommend Grays for any size job! Outstanding crew!!

We bought a new (to us) house that had a very large and very dead pinetree in the backyard. Gray's provided a reasonable quote and delivered on their promised timing and taking away all evidence of the work. The team worked efficiently and left the area pristine.

I needed two very tall, overgrown spruce trees cut down in front of my house followed by grinding of the stumps. The price was very fair. The job took only about 20 minutes. The guys were on time and left the place spotless. I highly recommend them.

Our home was in the path of powerful straight-line winds, and we woke yesterday to an enormous pine of ours dramatically leaning over a County HWY (and power/phone lines). John Mark from Gray’s arrived the same afternoon, determined the crew/equipment needed, and scheduled us for first thing this morning. Gavin, Ned, and two other professionals arrived with a crane, special riggings, and all the reassuring safety equipment needed - including directing traffic during the fell. Tree was down in under 90 minutes, and I’m still in awe of their skill. Gray’s will remain in my phone directory. Thanks you, Guys.

I honestly can’t cannot say enough GREAT things about this company. From the day I met my estimator John @ our home to discuss our trees to the ladies in the office and Greg in the office!! I honestly have been the most annoying I guess you could say customer with many phone calls and yes last minute changing our minds!! Today Devin came out with his crew to do one part of the job that we did not cancel and he was so kind, professional and respectful of our decision.. however I informed him I would see him in a few weeks after the Arborist comes out to our home.. I don’t think there is a more professional company as Gray’s … like John said it’s ok we just want you to be happy!!!! Why why would you not let Gray’s Tree Company be the ones for your work, don’t hesitate to give them a call.. Thank you everyone!!

Gray's did an outstanding job trimming and removing trees for my forested lot in MB, and for a good price. I've hired Gray's several times (every time but one, when my neighbor wanted to use someone else for a tree on our property line), and have never been disappointed. Gray's is the best.

I had a good experience with Gray's Tree Services when they removed a tree that had been growing too close to my house. They offered a fair price to remove the tree, dispose of the debris, and grind the stump. They were quick and efficient, and they stayed in communication with me when they had to reschedule my job due to storms. I will definitely use Gray's again for any future tree removal needs.

Bobo's crew was professional they did an amazing job were very professional and the clean up they did was incredible. Super reliable friendly and courteous. Gray's crew was very good to communicate when they would arrive and how long it would take. They quickly cut down 6 trees in my yard and the debris was removed in a timely fashion. They were kind and very professional.

Mr. Gray and his team are phenomenal. I had a tree leaning over my garage that was rooted in a creek next to my home. I gathered quotes from other tree removal companies and Gray's beat them by far! The team is very polite and professional, and they went the extra mile to ensure that hauling was easy. I was impressed by their care for the little things, like my grass, to ensure that I didn't have any yard damage from moving the tree to the street. I highly recommend them!

Gavin and his crew could not have been better! They pruned two straggly looking pecan trees just the way we had talked about. Even went back up and got a few branches that I wanted more taken from. And now the trees are clean, healthy, and ready to leaf out in the Spring, and no danger to my house.
These guys are so polite and respectful, and take pride in what they do. No need to call anyone else for your needs! Highly recommend this company.

After a storm earlier this fall caused a very large pecan tree to drop another limb which caused damage to the neighbor's carport and my garage, I started calling around because I knew it was time to bring the tree down so no further damage could be caused.

After getting estimates (price and time) from several companies I decided to go with Gray's. Not because they were the cheapest (because they weren't) but because I basically had a good feeling about them. Sometimes you can't go cheap. This was a good call.

I was advised, and agreed, that the cost of the job would be $3,000 and this cost would cover bringing the tree down, stump grinding, and hauling away the debris.

When the crew arrived they came with a huge (I'm assuming 60 ton truck) with a small crew and immediately got to work. After a couple of days the tree had been brought down to the stump and all the limbs and trunk debris had been removed. Soon afterwards the stump grinding crew came and ground down the stump then that debris was removed a few days later.

All-in-all, the crew was very professional and they work very fast as soon as they arrived. I am very pleased with the outcome.

You did a great job overall, and I really appreciate the care you put into everything. The only small issue I ran into was the limbs pickup — it took a few days and required a follow‑up before it was completed. I just wanted to mention I’m grateful for the work you did and God Bless!

After my post, I got a call and Gray’s fixed everything to perfection. And on a Saturday. Thanks for being attentive to my concerns!

I’ve been less than impressed after being referred to Gray’s. I’m honestly tired of having to call them to finish my project each step of the way. Additionally, I had an expectation that Gray’s would come in and complete the work such that I wouldn’t have to find/pay someone to finish and clean up. This has been beyond frustrating. The pictures don’t do justice for how bad everything looks in person. I have my thoughts as to why I’ve received such poor service, but I hope I’m wrong and my location is not a factor.

Kudos Gray's Tree Service for a job well done. The 60 foot crew were both professional and entertaining. These guys took great care in removing the fallen tree off of my home, as well as removing the extraneous debris with it. Highly satisfied with my experience with you and your fun professionalism.

I had a tree fall during a storm; called and received prompt service. John Mark walked and listened to my concerns and gave me a very reasonable quote. Official quote arrived within a couple of days and the team, headed by Devin, arrived a couple of days after that. The team was efficient and thorough and worked until the job was complete. Grapple workers were careful and diligent to ensure that the area was thoroughly cleaned. I had stumps ground and shavings were spread to make the areas esthetically appealing. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and attention to detail provided by Gray’s. I will definitely use them again. Much appreciation to Karen, John Mark, Devin, Willie, Julio, Leon and all the others involved.

I contacted Grays late in the week and I believe they called me back on a Monday. They had someone out in a day or so for a quote. When I called to schedule, the date was given to me for about two weeks out. The week before I received a text saying that they would need to move my appointment two days later due to emergencies with a storm. That wasn’t a problem, but they didn’t know what time they would come to start. I had already taken off for the day originally scheduled, so that was a bit frustrating because I could not be home anymore.
On the day originally scheduled, I received a call that they actually could do the service on that day. I was at work already, but I agreed anyway.. I had one small issue with the branch that is currently touching my neighbors tree and it’s hanging over my driveway. Mind you this is the same tree that was included in my quote and service already. No one addressed after I emailed instead said they said they would give me a new quote. I explained that it was already the same tree that was within the quote but I just didn’t like that one branch. I never got a response back. They sent me the bill and I paid it immediately. I also had debris in my yard for two days. I was not as frustrated with that as I was that my request for the one branch was ignored. No one has contacted me since I’ve submitted the payment. I probably won’t use them again.

JohnMark with Gray's Tree Service came out to give us a quote on removing 3 large trees in our backyard, two of which were fairly close to our house. We also wanted stump grinding on 2 of the trees. He was professional, friendly and very knowlegeable. He worked with me and we landed on what I feel was a very good and fair price. (that was less than another company had quoted me) He let me know up front that it would be about a week out before they had an opening for the trees to be cut and that stump grinding was running a couple of weeks behind that. That wasn't a problem for me but I appreciated knowing that ahead of booking and that I would not pay a dime until the entire job was complete.
The first crew that came out realized they couldn't get the crane down my drive to access the trees...we have a challenging lot/driveway and told us that they'd need to come back another day with a bucket truck. The job was rescheduled a few days later. Andrew and his crew came in and did a fantastic job safely removing the 3 trees. It was amazing to watch them work! They cleaned up the yard and besides there being stumps there- no other signs that we'd had any tree work done! It did take a few days before the truck came to pick up the debris from the curb in front of our house, but when it was picked up, it was left completely clean. We weren't home when the stump grinding occurred but also, no issues or complaints. The next business day, I called to confirm their office address and hours and went by to pay by check to not incur any extra fees for credit card use. I appreciated this option. Overall, very pleased with the work done and the price. Would recommend Gray's to others and would use again!
