AUX = scam artists. While the technicians explained everything and what needed to be done to fix the issues, AUX only looked to rip me off. They wanted to charge me thousands more than other companies and tried to push me into paying them for a whole new unit under the guise that the part needed wouldn’t be available for over 9 months. That was a complete lie. I hired another company who got the job done in 2 weeks for a brand AUX installed, but no longer installs. Thankfully I had sense enough to file an insurance claim due to the damage being caused by an act of God. AUX didn’t mention filing a claim as an option when giving their quotes. Instead, the technician tried playing on my emotions and needing the AC fixed ASAP. After a painstaking claim process, I finally received fair compensation that fully covered the repairs. I can’t state it strongly enough do NOT trust AUX. Do your due diligence and if possible, file an insurance claim; otherwise, AUX will absolutely rip you off. When I notified AUX I caught them being deceptive, the representative made no attempt to make things right. She offered a hollow apology with hopes of regaining my trust when she should have either given a membership refund or provided big discount for the repairs since they chose not to operate in good faith. AUX deserves zero stars.

I am very appreciative of the service I received. Reed was polite, knowledgeable, professional, accurate and quick. He was able to diagnose the issue and successfully complete the task. I absolutely recommend and if I have any other needs, I will definitely be using this company!!

Aux has a seamless process and are easy to work with. From the scheduling to the service, everyone was so nice. Christian, our technician, was very thorough and helpful. He took the time to explain things to me and answered all of my questions, and I had a lot of questions lol. Will definitely call on Aux in the future!

We paid upfront for the annual memebership. Our water over flowed after turning on the washing machine on 10/17 late Friday afternoon. They sent someone out that could not fix the problem but charged us $700 anyway. They advertise 24/7 and we couldn’t get anyone to come back out to help over the weekend after they promised us they would. Now they will not return our phone calls.

Service man (Christian Wade) was here for a regular HVAC check up covered by our AUX membership. He was courteous and efficient. After completing the check up, he gave us a quote for duct cleaning and replacing the intake register. We accepted the quote and paid 50% down. The date of the work is yet to be determined.

I was very pleased with Aux Home Services. The technician, Nick, arrived on time, checked out the issue and gave me a written explanation of my options and the cost breakdown of each. No hidden fees. I appreciated that.

Adam Alexander has by far been the best technician we have experienced. He found things that previous techs overlooked. He did everything he could to satisfy us. I was driving on I-20 west towards Tuscaloosa on 1/8/26 around 6:30 pm when I drove past one of the company trucks, and the person driving threw their still lit cigarette at my car. All I did was pass them in the middle lane, absolutely disgusting behavior, littering too. License plate number AOCT838. Hope this reaches the appropriate person to have a discussion about how personal actions reflect on the company they work for!

Aux Home Service is a fantastic company! We had the main water line break leading to our house. Cody Stone (who is an outstanding young man) responded almost immediately. The Aux team (Jeff Noland, Kevin Crowley and others with Cody Stone) turned off the water and spent the next three days removing rock and dirt to get us a new line. They even had to deal with the unexpected issue of the city of Vestavia sending us extremely high water pressure! They worked very hard and fixed our issues for the long term. I am very impressed and would recommend them to anyone. Sweetest conclusion, they sent us cookies a week later! Aux is worth every penny.
