Extremely Unprofessional Service from Preston at G1 Plumbing

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience with G1 Plumbing, specifically with a technician named Preston. I reported a faucet issue to my home warranty company on June 29th, and G1 Plumbing was assigned to the case.

Initially, an appointment was scheduled for July 3rd, but it was rescheduled last-minute to July 8th. Preston arrived on July 8th around 12:30 PM, removed the faucet, and said he would return after getting a replacement part. However, he returned claiming the part wasn't available and had to be ordered. He said he would reassemble the faucet temporarily so we could use the shower, but after an hour of unsuccessful attempts, he left the handle and cover undone, leaving the shower unusable. I had to fix it myself just to regain minimal use.

I followed up multiple times over the next week. On July 17th, he confirmed the part had arrived. When I asked about a service date, he didn’t respond. On July 18th, he said he could come at noon, but I had another appointment and asked to reschedule—again, no response. After several more attempts, he finally promised to come on Friday, July 25th at noon, but never showed up. Worse, he blocked my number and only answered when I called from a different line—then hung up when he recognized my name.

At this point, I don’t even know if Preston is an employee or the owner of G1 Plumbing. The company’s phone number is also unreachable, which raises serious concerns about their legitimacy and reliability.

I’ve now asked my home warranty company to reassign this job to a different plumber. This level of unresponsiveness, unprofessionalism, and disrespect for a customer’s time and basic needs is unacceptable.

I had a water heater leak I called G1 plumbing they gave us a reasonable price , the tech came out He was on time and respectful , I don’t have any more issues with my water heater he installed he also preferred me to get a expansion tank and a pressure reducing valve , my pressure is great and my hot water is working absolutely fine I highly recommend this company.

I had a busted water line, I called G1 plumbing company , they sent out their technician Preston , he came right away and found the leak and fixed the problem , put everything back together the way it was I am satisfied with this company and happy with my results no more leaks , I highly recommend this company!

They know a lot about septic tanks but will destroy your yard and landscaping and not think twice about it.

My experience with this company is because the owner doesn't make sure paperwork is filed correctly. I came home to my yard covered in spray paint because the owner put an online work order to 811 to have the WRONG ADDRESS line surveyed. My neighbor has to have some work done and he entered my address instead of the neighbor's address. I called this company to ensure that my yard wasn't going to be permanently damaged because of the paint and The receptionist, very nonchalantly stated, oh it was just a typo. Well that typo means I have a painted yard, the neighbors will have to wait to have the work they needed done, and lost production from my city gas and water department having to track down who can't do their job correctly. My confidence in the service would be shaken if a keyboard can't even be used correctly.

Just had our septic tank pumped. The guys that did it were great and very professional. Would recommend this company for any job.

Wayne and his staff are very friendly. Honest people to deal with and extremely fairly priced. My husband and I have had a great experience and will only be doing business with Wayne going forward. We highly recommend his company!

These people are not only professional, but they are honest and good people! We have an issue with field lines in our new house and after having our septic tank pumped (it flooded BADLY) Wayne came out and explained that having the field lines replaced for US would mean extending them to an area that doesn’t flood as easy and would cost THOUSANDS of dollars. He said, “I’m gonna shoot straight with you. We’ve had an unseasonable amount of rain and that’s the cause of the septic tank backing up. If you have the money to go ahead and have the lines extended and replaced, you can do that, but if I were you, I would save my money and just wait out the rain. The tank is drained and it would take awhile for it to back up that badly again.” I SO appreciated his honesty! He could have easily said that I HAD to go ahead and spend (I think he said around $4,000 or $5,000) to have the lines extended to a different area, but he opted to tell me the truth, rather than just take my money.
I will ONLY use this company from now on and they are who I will always recommend to anyone who needs those services!!

I received excellent service today. The technicians called and gave me a time to expect them, and they were there on time. The technicians were very knowledgeable and professional. My property was left neat and orderly. I would recommend them to anyone needing their services.

My parents was loyal customers to this company but not anymore. My experience was way last than great. Mater of fact I never got an experience because of their unprofessional unorganized schedule who schedule our appointment wrong the first time then canceled and after talking to her again to reschedule she tells me a date and time once again so my husband takes off work a second time to wait for them and once again they dont show because she fails to put us on their schedule. She then proceeded to call us liars and say we never spoke to her yet she gives us the numbers back that we called her from. So for those reasons they have lost about 5 customers.

One of our bathrooms started backing up the Sunday before Christmas. Having family visiting didnt help things. I called Wayne Pickle Septic Tank and they came out first thing Monday morning. Their crew was on time, friendly, and professional. It turns out that my septic tank didnt need cleaning (it was cleaned out just a couple years ago) and that the problem was a clog in the pipe going to the tank. Apparently flushing makeup removal or baby wipes down is bad even though the package says they are flushable. They dont degrade and can clog pipes which is what happened to us. They were able to get the pipe unclogged quickly and only charged a small fee to do so. We are very thankful for their help and will definitely recommend using this company!

I do not recommend Pickle Septic Tank and Plumbing. We had them come out for a job, that was completed and has had no issues, that is why I give it 3 stars. They did however, break the steps on my deck, left a huge hole under my deck that I was not made aware of, they showed up unannounced the second day. Never called and said they were coming or that they were there, we only found out because of our security cameras. They also proceeded to leave all their lunch trash and bottles under my deck. It also took the front desk a considerable amount of time to find us in their system every time we called. They never had heard of us or didn't have us in their system... we called two days in a row and she couldn't remember or find us. Just not professional in any way.

Provides great service with competitive rates. Offers discounts for elderly and military. Locally owned and operated. Very professional guys that came out to service our tank. Highly recommend.
