The Carden team responded in a lighting fast response time, diagnosed the issues and offered a couple of solutions for resolution. The in house team researched a question I had about comparing several systems and followed up as promised.
Super friendly and knowledgeable and I am very comfortable dealing with Carden Heating & Cooling moving forward.

We were planning to replace our air conditioner system in our home, and we contacted this company three – times, and asked them for a quote. They told us we would receive a call back but never did. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Cardin came out for the bi-annual maintenance. Tech called when he was on his way and he arrived in time. He was professional and thorough. He reviewed the service completed and all that was checked. He was Helpful with all my questions. Outstanding tech and service. I highly recommends these folks.

Technician came out on short notice on a Saturday. He was prompt , informative and very professional. Even took his shoes off every time he came in the house. We were very pleased with the service provided. We will continue to use call for any HVAC concern.

I have used Carden Heating and Cooling for over 15 years. From yearly service checkup to installing a whole new Central Heat and air system. Recently I called them with a issue of my HVAC system blowing fuse and transformer. I am pretty handy with these type of issues and ordered 2 transformers off Amazon for $18. I installed them and they would immediately blow fuse. Long story short, Carden came out and replaced my Thermastat, that was the issue why it was blowing fuse and transformer. My wife had called other HVAC companies and they said they would charge around $59 for a service call. I told her no, I had been using Carden for over 15 years. To my suprise, when the technician was finished, the total bill was almost $700. I was shocked at the price. The transformer i paid $18 for, he charged me $151 for his replacement transformer. Also, cost of a simple $49 thermostat, was over $150. I was expecting a 2 hour service call to be $200, but almost $700 bill, I am still in shock of that price and having to budget some other things around for this unexpected charge. Next time, I will listen to my wife and shop around. This price was NOT fair, especially for a long time repeating customer like myself!

So, with the above issue, Owner never called or contacted me with my concerns. Now here we are just a little over a month later and guess what went out, the $700 Thermastat Carden installed and sold me. I called today to let them know thier Thermastat, they sold and installed went out! I was furious that just over a month the part has failed that I paid $700 for.
I was told since it was over 30days( barely over 30 days) they would not warranty it and they would have to charge me again for a new Thermastat and a service call and labor. They wanted another $500 to fix a part they sold and installed a little over a month ago! This was unacceptable and I will NEVER use Carden Heating and Cooling again! Stay away from this company and find a Company that will stand behind thier product and services. The Owners name is Simon Carden and at one time he was a Honest Christian man with good values and intent, but I guess money has changed him. Simon I will be praying for you! Hope that you see the error in your ways and refund my $700! But, seeing you will not even warranty work done just a little over 30 days, I'm sure I will not hear from you( even previous review you did not reach out to me) or you even care since you already ripped me off with the previous $700 bill. You have lost a long time repeating customer and I'm embarrassed to say I used to recommend you to all my church family, friends, and relatives.

Been using Carden since 2019. Very Professional and great service! Beyond the typical maintenance every year, if I do have a problem it’s been resolved very quickly without a lot of money. My system is almost 15yrs. old but, is maintained. This place I do trust!

I was impressed with the young man (unfortunately I didn't catch his name) that came out to do the bi-annual service of my air conditioning system. He was polite, very thorough, and explained his findings thoroughly. He took care of some issues that he found and my a/c system is working better than it was before his visit. I'm extremely happy with him and Carden.

I was having my family for Thanksgiving.
My son was on a flight on his way when I noticed there was no heat upstairs where he was going to sleep.
I called Carden Heating.& Cooling, within an hour a professional, courteous young man came and fixed the problem with a new thermostat.

Amanda went extremes to have preventative maintenance on our units at a time that was convenient for me. Austin, our technician arrived on time and was most courteous, polite, and clean. Performed PM and explained everything in detail AND did not attempt to sell me repairs that I didn’t need.

Carden replaced my heat pump on short notice at a price I consider fair. The techs seemed competent and were polite. I am unable to inspect their work for a few weeks but trust it is acceptable.

I can’t say enough great things about this company!! Our furnace caught on fire and they came out on a Saturday when other companies wouldn’t. Found the problem gave me a quote on fixing it and replacing the whole system. We decided to replace everything. They had the job done three days after I originally called them. Great people and great prices!! Every Single person I talked to from Amanda, Tom and Tim were very nice and helpful. Thankful we have heat and not worried about waking up to a fire in the middle of the night again.

I got quotes for a new HVAC system from 4 different companies in the Hoover/Pelham/Alabaster area. Carden was the 2nd lowest but they provide a better brand (Carrier) than the other quote. I accepted the bid on Friday and they were here Monday morning installing my system. The installation experience was great and I'm enjoying my new system.
