Preferring to spend money on local businesses, I contacted Dogwood Plumbing to replace a gas water heater.

The assigned tech showed up as scheduled and set to work immediately. Plenty of easy chatting through the job, work went smooth.

As we were testing the heater and water flow, the supply lines throughout the home clogged. No fault of the plumber, Guy. This house was just in bad shape with old metal piping.

He got his boss, Ben, on the phone and set up a replumb of the entire home the next day. Under a tight deadline, they were able to pull off the replumb and even wound up having to replace most of the valves and fixtures in the home.

Job done as promised with extra hours worked with no complaints. They really pulled through for me and I really appreciate the solid work ethic of Ben, Guy, and Hugo.

Price paid was price quoted. Worth every penny spent over two days on short and no notice work. These guys earned my repeat business for all future work.

Mr. Benjamin Simmons, owner of Dogwood Plumbing in Calera, Alabama, received my call courteously and corrected the issues the same day. The plumber telephoned me to state that he was on his way to my residence. Mr. Simmons definitively and completely turned off the faucets in the wall behind the washer and dryer and capped them, then removed the washing machine hoses from the faucets. With regard to the second issue, the plumber effectively replaced the flapper in one of the toilets in my home. Mr. Simmons courteously responded to any questions that I had. Completion of both of these tasks ensured that water would not be wasted. His fee was very reasonable.

Dogwood Plumbing came out to give me an estimate on a Slab leak and busted water heater. Ben was very professional and his prices were very fair compared to the 4 other companies I called here in the Birmingham Area.
