I like to catch people doing something right, and Dr. Roof's crew did just that. They showed up when they promised to be there and worked hard to get the job done right.

That's not to say the job had no issues. The roof needed more work done on it than originally planned on, but they pivoted and quickly fixed the problems. We also had a very unexpected sudden downpour during the job, but the crew scrambled to cover the unfinished roof to stop leaks.

Would I use Dr. Roof again? Yes, without hesitation.

The Dr. Roof team was good at explaining options and developing a plan. The roof replacement was finished in a day with the team working quickly and carefully. Everything was cleaned up and there was no damage to anything.

The crew showed up at 5am and finished the house and carport about 4 that evening. Their cleanup was great. I've proudly had Dr. Roof's sign in my front yard for about six weeks now. Have recommended them to several relatives and people at church.

Dr Roof worked with my insurance company to make sure my roof replacement went smoothly and everything was covered. Overall quality of work was very good. One ding however, they didn’t do a very good job of cleanup after the roof was installed.

Tell everybody I live in Huntsville, Alabama. I've recently learned that Dr. Roof from Atlanta moved into Birmingham now in Huntsville. You are rolling the dice with these people. We had a $30,000 HOA roof done. It was a simple roof 80 30 on each side with a simple pitch. After they fix the roof, we had close to 100 ft of leaks in in the building running down the ceiling our drywalls falling in. They refuse to repair it. They said they can't find the problem yet. Every time it rains water pours in. That's a roof problem buddy. I jumped up on the roof and I can tell you they screwed up the ridge vent. They cut it way too wide so every time it rains it pours into the ridge. Vent runs down the baffles on the roof and because they pulled out plywood probably 20 sheets to repair it as part of it they didn't put baffles back in. So wherever the baffle stop is where it just pours onto the ceiling and rots and it caves in. They know this but they refuse to repair it because they keep saying they can't find the problem. These people are in my opinion con artist. They want your money and they talk a big talk but they will not follow up. If they have a problem they will blame it on you. They will blame everything on you and they will try to dodge and they will say they're going to be there. They'll say they're going to do something. We do absolutely nothing we're having to sue them in Atlanta because of this.
Update: In reply to their "inspection" Dr Roof is the very company that installed the Ridge vent incorrectly from Day 1. So, their inspection found a faulty Ridge Vent. When are they going to tell us this and fix their fault. Answer: Never. Again, their word is you have to sue us because we refuse to correct this. Take all this to heart before you let this irresponsible company (that has branched out to Huntsville to grab some of "Huntsville action") even get up on your roof - you have been warned here. I can also say with absolute conviction and zero fear of recourse because it's completely true: They are trying to paint a sympathetic picture, and it's all lies in our case. There was zero follow through or documentation. Not once in the dozens of times coming out did they bother to provide feedback other than we can't find the leak it's your fault. No doubt they are on good behavior right now; however, old dogs learn new tricks with difficulty. You will be happy with them until your not then expect zero follow through and nothing but misdirection.
We hired a roof investigator. He stated the roof was not done to code and as a result was leaking all over its extent with a majority of the problem focused near the two major leaks - he still found issues over the entirety of the roof. The inspector also was shocked it passed inspection as it was supposed to be inspected because they removed significant structural elements. I can tell you with certainty Dr Roof did not have the roof inspected by any authority. The pictures added are from the inspector. He said it's not coming through the ridge vent but rather in areas where the roof was not repaired according to code. One of those is identified with chalk in the photo.

We contracted with Dr. Roof for a total roof replacement after tornado and hail damage. The crew arrived early the morning of installation and worked until well after dark. They wanted to complete the job in one day but because of the size of the house it was too big a job for a single day. The shingles on the edge of the roof are very warped and uneven and even though they picked up the major pieces of debris the night they finished the roofing they left a ridiculous amount of debris including nails. Even though I called multiple times stressing that they needed to come back and finish cleaning up I got very poor response. Finally after hours of complaining they finally sent one man, who did not speak English, who came with a bucket and tried to manually pick up the leftover debris. I expected him to at least run a magnet to pick up nails which he did not. A crew who was installing windows several weeks later did run a magnet and found hundreds of nails left behind by Dr. Roof even though it was so long afterwards. All in all, I would not recommend.

Storm damage required us to replace our roof. We spoke to several roofing companies and in the end decided on Dr. Roof. From the initial inspection of the roof to assisting us with filing our insurance claims, Dr. Roof was engaged throughout the entire process. Their crew arrived at 5:30 am, were hard working and completed the entire job in one day. Cleanup was great and they protected the landscaping around the house. Dr. Roof did an outstanding job for us. I recommend you consider Dr. Roof for your roofing needs. If the need ever arises again, we will use Dr. Roof.

Dr. Roof sales team was informative and experienced. Described everything and we talked about problem areas around my fireplace and low slope sunroom. They had solutions other companies did not. Dr. Roof provided much longer service warranties. Installation was on time, by a quick experienced team. Payment was easy and accounting responded to my questions which gave me great confidence in their warranty. This company has been in continuous business long then others with very few compliant which were handled to the customer satisfaction. I recommend using them to my friends.

Dr Roof went above and beyond when helping me with my roof replacement after hail damage. They had expertise with dealing with my insurance company and answered all of my questions/concerns. They had a professional crew that was respectful and did a great job with the installation including taking care of items around my house to ensure they weren't damaged. I was very pleased with everyone I worked with and I'm happy with the finished product.
