I called 2 other companies before Grayson and I must say that they are honest. I’m not an HVAC technician, but I knew that I didn’t need a new AC. Some companies will try to sell you things you don’t need just to make a buck. When Bryce checked my AC and he listened to me as I explained my breathing issues. He found mold in my air ducts and proposed redoing my duct system and bringing it up to code. He told me the truth about “cleaning” a duct system. It’s akin to someone selling you snake oil.
I wanted a UV light to prevent mold returning in my air ducts. Bryce researched the light I wanted and found a better version with zero ozone and air filtration. My system was installed in one day! Last night was the first night that I have breathed well in years! Grayson has been nothing but professional, honest, and kind. Bryce has taken great care of me and always quickly replies to any questions I may have. Matthew, Ethan, and Brad did a phenomenal job with the installation and were respectful of my home while I was away. The new air vents in the interior look great and I’m very pleased with this company’s service. They even called me the next day and made sure everything was well after the installation. Tyler told me to call them if I needed anything or had any issues. If you’re looking for an HVAC company, save yourself time and just call this one. You will get what you pay for.

TJ and Gabe made quick work of the warranty replacement of the fan coil in my attic. As the norm with Grayson ‘s service, everything was top-notch. They even went the extra mile by replacing old insulation on my outside unit and reworking the drain and tubing on my air handler. TJ and Gabe were professional and tidy in their installation and removal of all old equipment and packing materials.

I purchased this unit from Grayson not quite nine years ago and was impressed at the time of the letter that was sent with all of the registration and confirmation numbers. Having this done by them extended my warranty from 5 years to 10 years. Honestly, if it was left up to me, I might’ve forgotten to register them. This is yet another example of why it pays in the long run to deal with true professionals like Grayson.

I moved into my house in the past year and had Grayson come service my unit. They have been very helpful and never pushy. I have complete confidence in this company. I have worked with Lantz and Aaron and several occasion and both were very polite and respectful.

I would highly recommend Grayson and their team.

Bryce was very kind, thorough, and professional. He diagnosed what was wrong with my unit, during my scheduled maintenance, and got everything handled. He also went through and checked the duct system completely. One of the very sweet ladies in the office called shortly after to schedule the repair for the next day. I have been very pleased with everyone with Graysons since we started using them over a year ago. Everyone is so knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help with any of our needs.

This past Saturday afternoon, lightning struck our house, and we noticed smoke and steam coming from our outdoor AC unit. We immediately reached out to the original company that installed the unit last summer, but they informed us it would be Monday before a technician could assess the damage.

Needing urgent help, we contacted Grayson Air Conditioning—and within an hour, they had a technician at our home. Thomas, the technician, was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He quickly diagnosed the issue—a busted copper Freon pipe and a fried motherboard—and had everything repaired the same evening.

Thanks to Thomas and Grayson Air Conditioning, we had cold air again before bedtime. We’re so grateful for their quick response and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Doug was wonderful! He ensured we received the best possible price we could get for the services provided. Additionally, he didn’t oversell us on maintenance needed for the breaker as he knew we could take care of on our own based on the work we had already performed on the unit. We will definitely call them again if we ever need help!

The team from Grayson Air-Conditioning, Justin, Brannon, Clay, Brad, and Daniel, did an absolutely fantastic job replacing my old duct system with the new improved duct system. They also replaced all the grills in the ceiling and wall. They also replaced the attic stairs and put in a tent to keep the hot air in the attic, not letting it come into the house.

This team was very polite, friendly, and professional! They cleaned up everything before they left! I highly recommend them for any of your air conditioning jobs! They come twice a year to check on my air-conditioning system, and my generator, which they put in a few years back. They do an excellent job!

They initially came out Friday to service our old Rheem unit, which we unfortunately ended up needing to replace. They scheduled us for the following Monday (faster than expected) to come out and replace the unit with a new Carrier unit. They even dug up and replaced the old foundation that the unit sits on, didn’t expect that. Justin H., Brannon K., and Gabe were absolutely outstanding! Couldn’t have asked for a better crew to come out and do the job. They did fabulous work, were very respectful of our home, property, and animals. What I greatly appreciated more than their work ethic is how amazing they were with my 2 very energetic dogs and my very chill laid back one. They were so wonderful, an absolute pleasure to have working at my home. They even went above and beyond helping me with the setup of the Carrier app, which my phone was being a bit of a pain with. Additionally I hadn’t had any luck finding a buyer for my old washing machine and Joey Pettis, the installation manager, even took the washer off my hands, getting it out of my living room. This really is a truly fantastic company with genuinely amazing people who work there. Hands down the best ac company you’ll ever find!

I called Grayson last week to repair my air conditioner. I had called them about 2 years ago to take a look at my air system. Both times, they stated my air conditioner was in bad condition and wanted to replace the whole unit. Both times I asked if they would repair instead and if the air conditioner continues to give me problems, I would consider a new unit. The prices quoted were ridiculous so I called Air Of Excellence here in Mobile, Al and not only did they repair my unit but it was less than a hundred dollars each time they repaired it instead of quotes to (repair $900.00 and/or replace $11,500 for a new unit quotes by Grayson). Grayson will rearrange parts on your excisting unit and make you believe you need to come out of pocket with hundreds and\or thousands of dollars for repair and/or replacement. If needing someone to come out and repair your unit, give Air Of Excellence business in Mobile, Al a call. They are honest when it comes to repairing your A/C unit and will give you a fair quote. I accidentally left Grayson's business number in my phone and called them accidentally by not remembering how they did me the first time. I paid $85.00 dollars for them to come and try to run game yet again. I paid Air Of Excellence $75.00 dollars for home visit and tipped the technician $60.00. It was worth it to remind me to erase Grayson Air out of my phone and never call them again!! My air conditioner is back up and running and have no problems since repaired last week. Don't trust these guys to give a fair quote without getting a second opinion to see if you will do better financially with another company. I recommend Air Of Excellence if located in Mobile, Al and surrounding areas.
