The worst experience I’ve ever had with a repair service. My refrigerator was not functioning properly so I called the Appliance Expert in Orange Beach and the owner (Mike Usher) came out said it needed a new main board. He said it would take 2 to 3 days to come in, 8 days later it finally came in. He came out with another tech and changed the board. 2 hours after they left my refrigerator started acting up again. I called and Mike said he would have to contact the manufacturer to try and find the problem. 2 weeks later I called, since I hadn’t heard back from him. He called back Good Friday morning and said he would be out that afternoon. He never showed up or called, he TOTALLY FLAKED on me. I haven’t heard from him since. I paid $550.00 for a board I didn’t even need. I had to call another repair service to come out and they had my refrigerator fixed in 30 minutes!!!! I definitely would never recommend the so called “Appliance Experts “ to anyone I know…EVER!!!!!!

I’m glad I got a second opinion after the technician did not fully inspect my broken washing machine. Not glad to fork up $125 for him to simply press a few buttons and make a false assumption about what the issue was. The following day, another company came out and completed an actual thorough examination of the machine’s parts and determined that it was not just the cold water valve, which is what they were going to replace. I would have gone down a long expensive road with these guys when it really just made sense for me to replace the machine.

We do not recommend. He came out to look at a washing machine in our RV. Spent 10 minutes listening to it and said it was the pump. Charged us $150 and said he would order a new pump. Could not get us a new pump because it was discontinued. So we contacted him again about replacing the washing machine. He never responded. He was happy to take our $150 and not help us.

We use Mike for all our appliance repairs for our business. He comes out quickly, correctly diagnoses the problem and either (honestly) recommends repair or replacement. He has kept our 16 year old commercial ice maker running like new, he's found difficult parts for ovens, washers, dryers, refrigerators, etc. He is always able to quickly repair anything and if the part is delayed, he keeps in close contact to keep us updated. I would recommend Appliance Experts to anyone needing a diagnosis and/or repair.

Came out on Sunday, Mother’s Day to replace a blown breaker. Great service and super fair price!

We were staying at a condo this past week and noticed a few outlets didnt seem to be working. After contacting the host of the property where we were staying, two technicians, Caleb and Sims, from McCord electric came and checked each outlet and resolved the issue. Super nice guys and very knowledgeable.

Caleb and Sims were dispatched to my house in Orange Beach. They showed up at the scheduled time and diagnosed the problem and fixed it within an hour and a half. Very polite very professional. Would recommend McCord electric for any electrical issues.
