DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY CHARGED US 8,234.00 AND DIDNT REPLACE THE WOOD BECAUSE TODD MCCOOK SAID IT WAS ROTTED SO THEY TOLD MY GRANDMOTHER THAT SHE WOULD GET 300.00 BACK NEVER GOT IT SHE CALLED AND TODD SAID YOULL BE GETTING YOUR MONEY BACK BUT DONT KNOW WHEN SO THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Professional installation from a knowledgeable technician was appreciated. Rained the next night and everything looked great.

Extremely poor service and a total bait and switch company. I received a quote April of 2024 at the price of $500. The company stated that we would receive discounts for the cleaning, installation, and repairs due to my husband's military service and him being a police officer. We decided that it wasn't the right time, but always kept it in mind. This year we decided to purchase the service. We called and the employee stated our previous quote was still valid. We asked if it was a quote for the cleaning and installation and we were told yes. They scheduled us an appointment yet when the appointment time came nobody showed up, so we called and they stated that the appointment was never booked. Another appointment was booked and same thing happened, we have to call to ask where someone is and get told "so sorry we didn't have you down." Each time we called we confirmed the appointment was set for a full install and were told yes. Well we get forwarded up to management and told we would get an inconvenience discount. A different manager called us back and informed us the quote was only for a cleaning and the install would be 2K. We were also told that the manager knew nothing of the inconvenience fee.

I was originally under the impression that this was a good company that cared for our military and first responders, but after this experience it has been made clear they do not.

I was hesitant about having someone come to my house due to high prices, but I took a chance And John from the Pelham office came out to my house. A very wonderful guy did my measurements and quotes and I ended up signing a contract on the spot to have my gutters done. This was a awesome experience with John.

After doing business with Alabama Gutter Company, it showed me how there are levels to great companies and not so great companies. LeafFilter could be a really good company but the representation that they sent to me was poor. I originally was getting a quote from Leaf Filter to get new gutters installed on a newly built house a while back and they sent a former car salesman to give me the quote. After receiving a sky high quote, I told the salesman how that was way too much ($15k for gutters and installation) just for basic gutters that I was looking for. He was becoming a bit pushy of course trying to close a sale and after I finally told him that I couldn’t afford and wasn’t going to finance that amount, he told me he would follow back up with me for a better rate. Of course I never heard back from him, however I did receive a text message from maybe a manager or GM with getting unused material from a leftover job that would cost a couple of grand for something similar that the salesman offered. I told the person that I would be interested in that even with leftover unused material. The person said that my salesman would get back in touch with me for a follow up… I never heard back from him. Fast forward and after contacting Alabama Gutter Company, it was the complete opposite, excellent professionalism, no pressure and excellent pricing. I even asked if I would need all or some of the things that the person from Leaf Filter recommended and he was honest and told me how I would not need all those extras for the area that I was in and explained why I wouldn’t. The company offers the same extras that leaf filter offered so he could have easily tried to up-sale me but he was honest. Completely different experience and the work itself was excellent and quick! Leaf filter could be a great company but the person, or the representation sent my way basically pushed me to do business elsewhere. I hope they can improve their approach but after that experience I wouldn’t recommend LeafFilter.

Installation scheduled for the day after deciding to go with Leaf Filter. Installers did a great job replacing damaged gutter portions, cleaning entire system and installing new covers.

Best determined salesman ever, Scott McCook. Very informative, friendly and personal. I've made my decision to join the leafFilter family because Scott made me feel very self assured with my choice.

This is a fraudulent company and I do not advise anyone to deal with them. When they come, they tell you that there are many problems. When I signed the contract with them, they came to my house and worked for two hours, doing very simple work, and they asked me to pay $4,400. These are fraudsters.

Per contract, gutters and downspouts were to be repaired/aligned as needed. I have multiple downspouts that were not attached to the wall. Gutters and downspouts were to be cleaned during installation. Gutters were cleaned as evident by the debris left on roof and hard surfaces around house. Downspouts...don't know. According to contractor salesperson sold me the wrong size guard. Would that have affected the price? Did anyone offer to correct? No! Should have went with a local company. I will end up have to spend more money to fix what LeafFilter was paid to do. ALA18703

UPDATE 10/25/2022
Let me start by saying Yes it is raining pretty heavy when pics were taken. Only significant rain in 2 months to verify the "PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION OF LEAFFILTER SYSTEM" . Should I have more issues than before LeafFilter? Customer service sent a rep out. Took pics and I quote" I'll talk to contractor about your concerns". Like I said previously, should have paid more money and went with somebody else to have gutters that work. I have new pics and a video to show the professional work performed. I will continue to update with pics and videos until issue is fixed.

Just an after thought I have a lifetime no clog guarantee in writing.....guess that will never be an issue since water is not going in gutters. Smart move LeafFilter. Genius.

UPDATE 07/17/2023
So I call customer service. I was told by customer service Regional and/or Local Manager would be onsite COB 05/19/2023. 2-3 weeks later local manager sends a text. No phone calls ever. He must have it saved because word for word the same from previous text. All the rain has them behind is why I haven't heard or had anyone show up since Feburary. I removed a section of this wonderful system to see the difference. Last 2 pics. Water that looks like it is flowing thru a colander, Leaffilter. Other pic, section removed because of constant overflow soaking everything in a 10 ft radius under screened in porch. Thanks again Leaffilter.

Installation crew arrived on time and went straight to work. I spoke with the job foreman for a minute or two with questions we had for one another. Work proceeded quickly, indicating to me these guys were true professionals. After everything was done, the foreman showed me around the finished work and places where some woodwork (fascia) was repaired. The crew meticulously cleaned my yard of any and all debris. I gave them each cold bottled water, shook their hands and they left.

At the first heavy rain, I walked around the house and marveled at the beauty and efficiency of the product and the workmanship.
