I called Hansen to fix my electric water heater. I got a plumber instead of an electrician. At that point I was upset because I knew it was something electrical. Any Skyler came out and he worked it as best he could. But realized this is an electrical issue. You would have thought he would have given up but he called his boss and he got it back working. He did suggest that I get their electrician to look at my breaker box in my house because of the age and the condition of my box. I appreciate him for not giving up on my situation. He has excellent customer service.

Really disappointed in Hansen Electric. They’ve maintained our generator ever since we bought this house in 2019. They came out in July for the yearly maintenance in preparation for hurricane season, which cost us $525. The following weekend our power went out without the generator coming on. I called Hansen the following Monday and was told they only maintain generators, they don’t service them anymore. I asked for a call back from their manager Ashley Loper to no avail. I called again and left her a message, still no return phone call. Call someone else for your generator service. Update: power all through Theodore just went out. Every time my power goes out without my generator starting, I’m going to fuss about the $525 I paid Hansen Electric to service my generator in July!

Didn’t actually use them. Only leaving 5 stars because I was stuck in traffic on I-10 for like almost 2 hours total, and one of their trucks was one of the few interesting things to look at.

Spent thousands of dollars within a short period of time. Full house generator. Full house heating/ac unit. Full house duct work replacement. Dish washer replacement. They offered a service to come out and test/check water heater. Dude hits drive way lights while coming in. Doesn't say anything. Leaves out in same direction and then rips them down. Instead of coming in and saying anything. He flings them over the line and leaves. When Hansen was contacted about this, we were told managers would review the video and get back to us. They had no problem in scheduling and calling for maintenance costs around our home, but never reached back out in regards to replacement of a string of lights or even info for the "water heater tests" performed. (Video and contact info and replacement info was sent Jan 7th with still no answer or follow up. Not even a apology or anything)

My generator did not come on in the storm. I call Hansen the next morning and Gary the technician came out an accessed the problem. He explained everything to my husband and I. He got us back up and running.
PS it’s important to make sure your battery is working!😂

    Thank you Gary👍🏽

Worse experience I ever had with anyone. The technician did not fix my problem. Charged me a service call, told me my fan was bad, and could not get the fan anymore. I found the fan and had it changed. The fan wasn't bad. The compressor was bad. These people are jokes. Don't ever use them. If I could give them a negative rating, I would!

We had all of the hard and flexible AC ducting under our 1910 Midtown house replaced in 2022 when Hansen had different ownership. It was a big and expensive job that they amazingly completed in one day; they sent so many trucks someone online wondered if a movie was being filmed. Just before Thanksgiving 2025, I noticed several of the flexible ducts appeared to full of water, and we were generally unhappy with the efficacy of a system that had new ducting and then all of the other equipment replaced. We called Hansen, and after a full inspection, they concluded the duct work was done entirely incorrectly; the ducts were the wrong size, the flexible ducting was attached incorrectly allowing condensation to seep into the ducts, and the system needed another register to allow for more air flow. When I asked how much, they said they would correct it at no charge. I would like to thank Mr. Brooks for identifying the issues, and Brandon and Kagen for doing the work. While they were under the house, Kagen heard water flowing, and realized our ancient copper water main had disintegrated. That night at 6pm, Grady and Denver from Hansen's plumbing division came out to start the repair, and by the end of the following day, we had a new water main from the street with a WiFi connected leak detector valve. I cannot say enough about the professionalism and work ethic of all of these guys.
