Had them come out today to install hot/cold water in my garage. He was done in about 2 hours and work seems sturdy. I'll amend if something explodes over the next year or so, but for now... 5/5. No Complaints.

I used these guys twice so far. The first time they drained and cleaned the air out of the pipes, fixed the bladder immediately, cleaned up and talked to me about other possible problems I might be having. Then when the heat wasn't coming back on, they came back immediately and fixed the situation free of charge.
The second time wasn't the best experience but they did fix the water heater. He showed me the problem and that my water heater filter needs to be vacuumed periodically or it will not get the oxygen it needs to keep the pilot light lit. I was not so happy to pay the big bucks to watch the man vacuum for 5 minutes then leave but such is life. Now I know what to do. At least he showed me the problem and how to prevent it from happening again. That's why I gave them 4 stars. -
R and S did fast and effective work for us when we were out of town and our house sitter discovered our high-efficiency boiler had quit. They were at our house with the boiler working by the following morning. Would recommend!

I wanted to give a shout out to R & S for taking the time to attempt to help me solve an immediate issue by telephone since they were unable to fit me in until the following day. Despite the fact that I was able to find someone else to do the job (very poorly and frustratingly I might add) the representative on the phone took 20 min exchanging pictures of my business' furnace to help me try and get it temporarily working. Thanks R&S for your professionalism and kindness:)

We had a hot water heater installed a little over a year ago by R&S; The water heater became erratic a week ago and I called three times since requesting to speak with Don (The Owner) Only to be blocked by a person who identified himself as Trent. This individual was rude and unprofessional and said he would relay my request for the owner to call me. We never heard from the owner, and after a week I called again and Trent said Don was "busy". I explained we were without hot water and Don had NOT returned my calls. Trent then said he would make an appointment for a week out! When I reiterated that we were without hot water AGAIN, he said they could come out sooner for time and a half and indicated that We would have to pay for the defective part as well!
So a warning to shoppers, If you purchase a unit from R&S, don't expect any support after that unless you pay dearly for it. Do NOT recommend! -
Beginning in 2003, I hired R&S for all my heating work & repairs. On a particular job, I noticed threading on bolts securing the thermostat into my boiler, had been stripped. The following season, I hired R&S to repair a diaelectric coupling, at a cost of $125. I came back from a trip to the lower 48, and immediately noticed the coupling was leaking. When I called back, they sent a different plumber out, who stated it appeared the work had never been done. When I commented I was going to call the owner and ask for the work to be done correctly, the plumber walk his statement back. The owner refused to honor the warranty. After numerous of calls back, the owner relented to refund half the cost of the bill.

So my boiler/furnace was dripping water and I called R & S. They showed up on time, figured out the problem but the part was tough to find. Yet, 2 days later they found the part locally saving us from a shipment from Italy as it was a rare part. Installed it hours later. Leak fixed...Then, my Heater stopped working later that night. The technician came back, and my pump went out...he had a spare pump, installed and got me up and running in a matter of minutes. Knowledgeable technicians. Big shout out to Jeremy for the amazing service. Very professional service and at a good price. Would recommend to everyone.

We called about a small leak in the pex line in our crawlspace. They came out the same day took a look and fixed it on site. They were so courteous and very efficient. Jeremy took the time to explain what he was doing.

Normally don’t leave reviews, however Jeremy did a great job on our shower repair! Not only was the service quick and done to standard, Jeremy was courteous and personable. 10/10 do recommend

I called R&S when I realized my in-floor heat boiler quit working sometime over the summer. They were quick to diagnose a defective heat exchanger, order the part (which was obtainable two weeks earlier than estimated) and installed it way ahead of schedule. So grateful for their quality and quick service just a week or two before freeze up! My house is toasty warm now. I’ve been using them for many years and will continue to do so.

Had been out of town and arrived home to a Boiler emergency, house was 40 degrees and it was 8 degrees outside. Jeremy at R & S was awesome! Arrived less than an hour after we called, he was professional, personable, and informative. Got the job done and had us back with heat as quickly as possible. Highly recommend.

Woke up Thx Giving morning to a leaking and broke Hot Water Heater with luke warm water, took a quick shower and called up R&S the Owner Don walked me through it how to get it lit temporary since it was the Holidays he put me on the schedule for the following week, i ran a hose from the leak to my garage drain, he said they would be there by 0900 hrs and they actually showed up at 0850 hrs, within 45 min's he had 1 old one out, and a new one on the way, he put the new one in within 2 hours total time, completed by 1100am. Price was about 500 cheaper than i expected. I will DEF use them again. I wish i would've known about them for my Boiler Replacement, but they were swamped and couldn't get to me on New Years for at least a month and i needed heat. Love the new Bradford & White 50 Gallon they last twice as long as the Box Stores. Thanks R&S Plumbing!!!!!!!!! D.

Felt as though they tried to take advantage of me. I have used them is the past and had positive experiences. In this case there was an inspection for home sale. I was told I had to replace the water heater or it wouldn’t pass inspection because the water heater was 20 years old. I opted for a second opinion and the results were different. The certified home inspector did not note an issue with the age of the water heater and it was actually manufactured in 2007 (less than 20 years) but that isn’t a factor. There is no requirement to replace a water heater at a certain age. My estimate was over $6000, I requested it to be emailed to me for review and I never received a written estimate after a second call. My invoice with other company was less than $1000.

My family has used R&S in the past for boiler issues. They have always been responsive and professional. We recently had a pin hole leak in one of our pipes. R&S was prompt in scheduling us and getting a tech out to us to fix the issue. Jeremy, the tech who performed the work, set clear expectations of the damage he would have to create in our walls to access the pipes. He also went above and beyond by working well around our 9 children and explaining what he was doing to my interested 13 year old (almost as if Jeremy was providing an apprenticeship class for plumbing). I am very impressed with Jeremy's work; his interactions with my family; and the interest in handyman work he instilled in my son during the short time he was at our house.

We have used R&S several times for our shop at Door Systems Of Alaska and they always come through for us. This last time our shop was without heat and they arrived within a few hours and got us back up and heating in no time. They are our go to and we won't be calling anyone else!

Joe arrived within the projected time, listened intently while wife & I discussed the system, did a thorough job of trouble shooting possible issues, and the problem is complex enough to require another visit. We were both pleased with Joe's work, demeanor and professionalism.

Robby got us fixed up when our upstairs tub started dripping and also leaking into downstairs. We were originally scheduled about 1.5 weeks out, but they were able to get to us a week early. Thanks!

Our furnace went out during negative temps. My old unit was hard broke and needed to be replaced. They were able to get me a new furnace installed the very next day. Install technician was professional and explained the whole process. Highly recommend!
