Reviews of local pros in Palmer, Alaska

We had unknown damage to our holding tank that did not become apparent until nearly three weeks after the big earthquake. Erwin Plumbing came out immediately and assessed the situation. We believed we would need a new holding tank, and we were prepared to go without water until after Christmas. Erwin Plumbing called back on Christmas Eve, said that he wanted to try another solution, and asked if he could come by. To make a long story short, he saved the day just in time for Christmas, and we shelled out a lot less than we expected to. I highly recommend this company and will continue to call them for all of our plumbing needs.

Google won't let me leave a second review so I have to just edit my original one. I had Landis come over again to finish a job I didn't have the smarts or tools to finish myself. He made it look easy. To reiterate what I said in my original review, I couldn't be happier! Landis is top notch. I highly recommend him!

Couldn't be happier. I had three jobs for him and i tell you what, he knocked them all out in less than five hours. I figured it would at least be a full days work. Will definitely hire again!

Landis is awesome! He was able to fix my problem and answer my endless questions with patience and knowledge. He also was able to give me advice over the phone on a couple of occasionn I will absolutely recommend him to friends, family and anyone else who might need a kind and professional plumber who knows exactly what he is doing.

Landis is a great plumber. He has fixed numerous things in our old house and he is a person of highest integrity! He found a leak in a water heater gasget in seconds after I had searched for the unknown source of the leak for hours. I would most highly recommend him. Bob & Karen Byron

I was waiting on the plumber I contacted yesterday to show up. Finally called Mr. Erwin and explained our problem with the tankless water heater. He showed up within the hour. Took care of the issue quickly and even taught my grandson how to do the repair in the future.

Will definitely call him for any issues in the future.

Landis was able to assess our fairly complex system and quickly determine what was causing the problem. He mapped out a plan and had us feeling secure in no time. Erwin Plumbing has the years of experience to get the job done!

Landis is great to work with. Friendly, responsive and professional. We have used him a number of times and has done a great job each time. We highly recommend Landis for anything you need done.

I called several plumbers over the course of several months to come fix our hot water issues and none of them could do what Landis at Erwin plumbing and heating did in less than a couple hours. We got the runaround from all the previous plumbers. None of them could fix or offer any solutions. Eventually our boiler got completely plugged up and quit working. Cold showers were our norm for a week. We lost all hope of finding someone that knew what they were doing. Well long story short Landis walked in and immediately started solving our issue. Fast Clean and efficient. Amazing! We finally found a good honest plumber and we now have our hot water back. I highly recommend Erwin plumbing and heating to anyone. We will definitely be using Erwin for all our future plumbing or heating needs.

He offers the best work at great rates!! He has always been on time or even early. If for some reason he’s had to cancel, he’s been very apologetic and ready to reschedule. He’s also very timely with his work and does an excellemt job! We’ve had no issues with work he’s done or fixed in our house. I always call him for work to be done or even just for small questions and he is always eager to respond and help. I highly recommend him and his work!!!

Landis came out and took care of a few different items on my home in one visit. He was very respectful of my house, and removed his shoes without being asked.

He patiently answered my many questions as he worked on solving the problems at hand. When he needed to make an extra trip into town for some parts, he was very fair about the additional time required for that travel.

I would definitely recommend Landis, and will hire him again for future jobs.

Prompt and professional. Great diagnostic skills. Seems to have a lot of experience and has a clean and professional appearance and presentation. I've used Erwin plumbing a dozen times for service calls on apartments and work on my own home and other things and I'm happy with every experience. Top notch service that you can believe in and trust.

Thank you for the great job installing our water heating. We appreciate that Erwin was prompt, reliable and easy to work with. The job was done well and in a timely manner. We would definitely use Erwin again.

Erwin Plumbing is the best. Landis is courteous, knowledgeable and a professional. I have used Erwin Plumbing twice in the last couple of years and am very happy with the quality of his work. My go to for plumbing and heating services. I highly recommend.

Really pleased to say that we had a wonderful experience with this company. We had a relatively small job that required coming out twice within a week and they were very prompt and flexible and just all around great to work with.

Erwin plumbing and heating was extremely fast to respond to our plumbing need and had it fixed very quickly for us! He had great customer service and a great rate! We would HIGHLY recommend them.

Best plumbing service in the valley! Well priced! Personally owned with honest service and integrity. The man knew his stuff and backed it up. Can’t say enough great things about Landis. Went above and beyond with no expectations and without being asked. Erwin plumbing is definitely my plumbing business of choice.

I would highly recommend using Erwin Plumbing Heating and Air for your plumbing and/or heating needs in the valley! We live in Big Lake, and recently moved to Alaska from the lower 48. Our experience has been excellent with this team on several different projects including installation of propane heat & piping to our garage and extension/upgrading of our current plumbing/heating needs to our guest cabin. Pricing has been fair, the team has been timely & responsive and has followed through on all agreed upon timelines. Landis has great options for communication- utilizing email/text & timely return phone calls to answer all questions thoroughly which has been very convenient for us. Very reliable company, 5 stars!!!

Erwin is arguably the best plumber in the Valley. A true professional and expert in his trade/craft. He responded promptly, as a matter of fact, showed up earlier than expected. Very reasonably priced and he gives military discount even with his already low price. Will definitely continue business with him and highly recommend to all Alaskans. Thanks Erwin.

Erwin was AMAZING. A total life saver. We called him after our homes furnace went out in the middle of winter. It was -10 degrees outside and the home was quickly getting cold inside. He came to our house within 30 minutes of our call, diagnosed our furnace, and was able to locate the parts needed and get it fixed and up and running the very next day. He saved us thousands of dollars and was very timely, professional, and kind. I couldn’t ask for better service. I HIGHLY recommend his business for any needed repairs. He is honest in his dealings and does not overcharge.

I recently lost heat in my house and decided to give Landis a call. I've never used his company, and I was very happy with his service. He came out right away, and correctly diagnosed the problem. Everything is working great! I would highly recommend using Erwin Plumbing and Heating!

I contacted this company to get work done on my home. We need a new water heater installed, new toilet, shower plumbing, a washer dryer box installed and a few other minor tasks. All things that this company can do. I was told he was scheduling 3 weeks out to get an estimate. Ok. After sending him an estimate I received from another company so that he could get a better idea of the work that needed to be done, he decided to pass on the job without any explanation. We never discussed cost or anything. He comes so highly recommended and has so many great reviews. Wish I had something positive to say. :(
