I was hesitant when I first called A and A Cooling and Heating, but their team showed up on time, diagnosed the issue quickly and fixed my air conditioning service problem at a fair price. The technicians were reliable and responsive, answered all my questions, and completed the work efficiently. I was impressed with how prompt they were and how reasonable the cost was. I highly recommend them for any hvac repair or maintenance needs.

I had a great experience with A and A Cooling and Heating. Chris was reliable, responsive and on time. He serviced our 2 units and gave us recommendations for an after market part that extends compressor life. We have used their services for years and appreciate their good work and reasonable prices.

We had 2 rooms that were split off from the main AC unit and weren't ducted to get adequate airflow. A&A came out, did an assessment of the rooms, provided a quote, came out on the 2 days they scheduled me for, and installed both mini split systems within the time they said. The techs were great to work with and respectful of the items in the room. The finished work looks very good and we are very happy with the results!

Jason has worked on our units for years! We have ac/heat and a swamp cooler. He was always on time and ready to work. He explained everything in easy to understand terms. Pricing was always upfront and never changed. The work was always done correctly the 1st time. And when we had our ac unit replaced, he had several recommendations for us- not just a "you need this one" attitude. He was licensed to do all of the warranty work and did our seasonal maintenance as well. Nothing but great things to say about this company and Jason!

We’ve had them out multiple times over the past 12+ years for all kinds of different HVAC issues w our old system, and they took care of us immediately and efficiently each time. We finally had a new Night&Day system installed and like the brand name suggests, it’s that much of a difference from our former brand.

2 years later and had a small issue w our Nest therm, where only fan would work…one call to Jason at 8am (in May no less) - on what was a crazy busy day and shorthanded for him - he was here, found the culprit, and out the door w everything working perfectly barely 7 hours after I called. Always fair, honest, and does immaculate work - don’t research any further, you’ve found your next HVAC company for life - promise.

Very responsive returning my message I left on a Tuesday night calling wed morning and was out wed afternoon. Jason serviced our aging ac 2 years ago and it, unfortunately, finally broke down. Jason and his associate installed a new ac punctually arriving at 630 and it took the entire day for installation. Very pleased with the service and looking forward to using a more efficient ac unit. Called for service on Saturday morning and my call was answered very quickly. I was informed that a technician could come out within 3 hours, but they arrived in less than 2 hours and completed the repairs in less than 2 more hours. During my initial conversation, the company requested my cell number. They used it to text me that my service call was scheduled as well as to let me know when the technician was on their way and they included a picture of the technician as well so that I knew who to watch for! When the tech arrived, he introduced himself, asked me to describe the problem with the air conditioner and I showed him where the outside unit was located. He got to work diagnosing the problem quickly and was very descriptive in telling me and showing me what he found as he identified three different problems. He made sure I understood why each item he found was a problem and why that part needed to be replaced. He had all the needed parts on his truck so was able to very quickly replace everything needed and get our AC running again quickly. I was very pleased with his attention to detail such as making sure to clean up after himself very well, replace all screws and even improved on a couple of previous things from the original install. He provided a quick estimate before beginning the actual work and his bill at the end of the service call was spot on that estimate.

Bonus item: The technician identified and replaced one component that likely would have caused a fire had it not been replaced. It is very likely he saved us from having a house fire!

I would HIGHLY recommend Competition Cooling and Heat for any of your HVAC needs. I will definitely do business with them again and they'll be back to do our annual checkup on the HVAC system in our home. Huge shout out to Jason R. who answered my call very quickly and scheduled my Saturday service with ease. Jason installer my new AC a few years ago did amazing job. We use them each year for our annual service checkups.

Last year Mike showed up to provide our service. We had just received some devastating news about our puppy Sadie. Mike was so kind and understanding and as I sat there and sobbed he shared some personal experiences, that really helped me out.

Mike came back this summer and i let him know we lost our Sadie. He had so much empathy for me and again we shared stories of our puppies.

It’s this kind of personal attention, that makes this a great company. He took the time to listen and share and still provided amazing service.

Jason, the owner, is a straight shooter. Had me on the books same day my A/C went out and even got here before the ETA! Jason and Aaron are knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They were in and out within 20 minutes for a bad capacitor! Now I'm back to comfort and I couldn't thank those two enough! Competition Cooling and Heat will be my go to from here on out! Jason and his team at Competition Cooling did a great job all around. They first inspected the old unit at the condo I was buying, provided a detailed summary of recommendations and then helped to recommend a unit that fit the size and specs of the condo. I never got the feeling they were trying to oversell me, rather, they wanted to make sure it was the right unit for the size of the condo. They were knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. Jason spent some time talking to me about the unit options so that I could be educated on my decision. A few months later I am loving how great the A/C is working. It blows very cool throughout the house and is energy efficient. The price was fair and they were great to work with. I would highly recommend them to friends, family and others.
