We hired Gurr Brothers Construction LLC for a full interior remodel starting January 29, 2024. We paid $43,198.82, and the project remains unfinished more than a year later.

No work has been done since February 2025. Our kitchen is incomplete with cabinet and island issues, cabinets are missing in multiple areas, bathrooms and paint are unfinished, the garage was never completed, and there are workmanship problems throughout the house.

Communication completely stopped. Our last contact was May 23, 2025, and despite repeated calls and messages, no one has responded. We were told Gurr Brothers hired K&E Construction LLC to handle rework, but they also never showed up or returned calls.

At this point, the project feels abandoned. We only have basic functionality in our home because we had to install appliances and hardware ourselves. Extremely disappointing experience, especially given the amount paid and the length of time involved.

I would not recommend this company.

Daniel and Tony provided amazing service. That said, Daniel and his crews on site was phenomenal. White glove service all the way. Communication 10, Punctuality 9, craftsmanship 10. If you can, request Daniel and his crew to work on your project and your expectations will be exceeded!

We recently went through a full home remodel, and I cannot say enough about how incredible John and the team at Gurr Brothers Contractors were throughout the entire process. From start to finish, John was right there every step of the way, always communicative, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly.

One of the things I appreciated most was how comfortable John made us feel when it came to asking questions or voicing concerns. Remodeling can be stressful, but he always took the time to explain things clearly and never once made us feel like we were bothering him. His patience and professionalism really set the tone for the whole project.

If there was ever an issue (and with a remodel, there are always little hiccups), John had it handled quickly and effectively. He’s the kind of person who brings a sense of calm and confidence to the situation, and you just know you’re in good hands.

The quality of work from Gurr Brothers Contractors speaks for itself, our home looks absolutely beautiful, but what truly sets them apart is the way they care for their clients. Having someone like John as our point of contact made the entire experience not only manageable but enjoyable.

I highly recommend John and Gurr Brothers Contractors to anyone considering a remodel or build. They are professional, reliable, and genuinely care about doing the job right. We are beyond grateful for the hard work, communication, and kindness that went into making our dream home a reality.

I just want to say Gurr Bothers is the company to go with. They are the best around when you need help with fixing your home. Ronald is the best to work with and helps in all aspects from start to finish of the job. He made me feel so comfortable in knowing everything was getting done correctly, and in a timely manner. The easiest process I’ve seen yet. I would use Gurr Brothers every time.

I had an awesome experience working with Koy Herrick. Koy is an outstanding project manager — extremely professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. His communication was always clear and timely, and he kept me updated throughout the entire process.

Koy went above and beyond to make sure everything stayed on track. He was proactive, detail-oriented, and made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. It’s clear he really knows his stuff and cares about delivering great results.

First of all - ASK FOR RONALD! He’s been nothing but awesome, kind, real, and he consistently FOLLOWS THROUGH. If he says he is going to do something, you can guarantee he’s going to do it. If he says something is going to get done or will be started on a certain day, trust that it WILL happen on that day. He’s been honest, he’s been fair, he’s been down to earth, and we are exceedingly grateful. We had a big leak issue with our AC and working with insurance was a nightmare. The demo process was so, so, so stressful and slow. But, ever since we started working with Ronald, it’s been a breeze and the rebuild process has gone so quickly and it finally feels like we are soooo close to being able to go home! About 90% of my stress with this process has been eliminated because of how easy it’s been to work with Ronald and his team at Gurr. The remaining 10% is because of Allstate which is an unrelated issue and not Gurr Bros’ fault at all. I asked for samples - he got them immediately. I asked for pricing - he provided it immediately. He’s clear, concise, knowledgeable, and I cannot express enough how valuable that is in a contractor. Good contractors are valuable so when you find one, KEEP THEIR CONTACT INFO! Also - a shout out to Ronald’s team of hard working people who were very respectful of our home, our belongings, and even our packages. (They always bring any packages that got delivered inside the house for us before they leave, which is so very thoughtful). Thank you guys for making the second half of this process so much more stress-free!

I know nothing about roofs, but when I called Gurr Brothers, they took the time to explain exactly why my 50-year-old commercial roof needed to be replaced.
I called at least 10 different roofing companies, and I chose Gurr Brothers, not because they were the cheapest, but because they had outstanding communication. They followed up promptly, explained everything in detail, and made me feel confident in my decision.
Tyler kept me informed throughout the entire process, and the team was absolutely amazing to work with. If you're looking for a roofing company that treats you right and does quality work, I can't recommend them enough.
10/10 - would use them again in a heartbeat.

Pool remodel went very well. Top grade craftmenship throught the process. My wife and I where amazed at the final product. project included increasing pool deck size. renovation of pool deck, rebar repair, and cleaning of tile, pebble tech and waterfall.

I had gone thru 5 different pool cleaners before I found Wolverine. They are wonderful, always here to do any repairs quickly and a reasonable price. Plus they know their business. Experienced and professional. My pool is kind of a problem but they always know what it needs and take care of it.

Excellent resurface remodel. Thank you Trent and Leslie for taking care of us, Trent was always on time, communicating with us thru the entire process and most of all monitoring the progress and quality of work. Our pool is beautiful.

Trent and Wolverine Pools have been maintaining our pool for over a decade. The staff is always professional, on time and high quality work!

This last month we had them resurface our pool with pebble Tec and new tile around the top edge. The work was beautifully done. He was able to get it done quickly and all the workers were highly skilled and professional. I love our pool and Trent has been amazing at helping us take care of it, and now I really love the new updated look! It looks like a resort pool! Thanks Trent! Thanks Wolverine Pools!

They did a decent job, and their price was good but Justin never finished the job. He did 95% of the job and since I was managing the project from my home in Chicago, I never saw the missed details until after all payments were made. There were rigged tiles by the slimmer that were never grouted. They also got grout on other tiles and didn’t clean it up. They could have spent another hour on this job and had a 5 star review. We recently got back into town and set up a appt for him to finish the job…then he was a no show. Now, he isn’t replying. He also left all the old tile, and (2) 5-gallon buckets of garbage on the side of the house. A total eye sore for our Airbnb guests.

Nothing short of a restoration miracle. Hank and crew brought our travertine courtyard back to splendor. Cleaned, sanded rebuilt, filled, replaced, sealed, and polished. Showed up each day on time and kept us informed about every step and what to expect between processes. Highly recommend!

Had the owner out to quote a project, he came looked at the project and said he would have to think about how he was going to do it. He took a picture of the project and said he would provide a quote in a day. It’s been two weeks and nothing a word back from them. I would not recommend them.

Excellent work!!! Ron repaired some caulk and grout issues we had in our shower and bath bowl counter area. He also recaulked/sealed around the kitchen sink. He is very meticulous and even grouted some areas in the shower that we had not noticed needed repairing. Those additional areas were not included on his proposal, but he did NOT charge us for the repair of them. After he left, we noticed some caulk residue on the bath and kitchen counters that we were unable to remove. We called the office and within 1/2 hour he returned and removed the residue. We would highly recommend him for caulk and grout repair. Since we did not have him clean our floor tile, we cannot vouch for his work in that regard; however, if we were to need him for floor tile cleaning, we would not hesitate to contact him.

I had a fantastic experience with Grout Lines USA! Ron and his wife Connie were both incredibly professional, punctual, and friendly throughout the entire process. Connie made scheduling easy and convenient, and Ron did outstanding work. He repaired some floor tiles and completely redid the caulking in my bathtub, making sure everything was sealed properly to prevent any leaks. The quality of the work really shows, and I appreciate his attention to detail and care. I highly recommend Grout Lines USA and will definitely call them again for future projects!
