Excellent quality and pricing for the services they provide. No hassle, no nonsense, just top tier quality professionalism. I've hired them three times for a drain cleaning, faucet replacement, and water heater replacement. Each time they were responsive, on time, and did great work at a fair price. They even taught me a few things on proper maintenance for these products. Couldn't recommend these folks more.

I had American Plumbing and Rooter install my water softener in 2022. I had some loud banging sounds in my house that I thought were coming from the water softener. I called AP&R to come out and take a look and instead of doing that and charging me the fee, he diagnosed over the phone that the issue was with the irrigation and not the water softener. He saved me money and time in getting the issue resolved quicker without charging me a dime. And he was right! After replacing the timer for the irrigation, the banging has stopped.

Great experience with American Plumbing. Rich and crew were great to work with. Had them hydro jet a kitchen sink drain line. They explained everything, showed me the camera view and cleared the line. Excellent customer service, would highly recommend them!

After being given the run around by my home warranty company and the plumbers they recommended I decided to give American a call since they had good reviews and were local. Great decision. Rich listened patiently as I explained my situation with water heater. He had me send him some pics and quickly put together a plan which the home warranty company accepted. Rich came out himself and installed a water heater in about an hour. I'm very happy and impressed. After a week without hot water my wife is ecstatic, lol. Thank you Rich.

We were having a problem with our two year old water heater (it was already in our house when we bought it in 2021) pilot staying lit. I was dreading the thought of trying to find a reliable person that would be able to come out and not rip us off. Luckily, there was a sticker for American Plumbing and Rooter on the heater already, nicely labeled with the installation date and a “wait! You might still be under warranty!” sticker so we went ahead and called. They were very friendly on the phone and able to get out to us the next morning! It turned out the part (gas valve) on our Rheem was known to have problems and was covered under our warranty so we only had to pay trip and labor. Very prompt, considerate, knowledgeable and helpful. Explained the issue to us thoroughly and gave us some tips. I feel confident in the work done and will be sure to contact them if need be again! Rich and his Team are phenomenal. I have used his services on a couple of occasions, once in an emergency type situation, and they did not let me down. Very knowledgeable, not there to sell you anything you don’t need, bottom line up front and very reasonable prices. Most of all, peace of mind- they take photos as needed and walk you through everything so you can make an informed decision. I recommend this team without hesitation and will continue to use them to care for my home.

Rich from American Plumbing and Rooter responded very quickly to a call for an issue I was having with my outside hose bib. He told me when they would be out (which was very quick given it was a holiday weekend!) and communicated regularly prior to the job. I had a fair priced estimate and no surprises in cost. He was on time and very professional and I was happy with the work. Will definitely use American Plumbing and Rooter again for all of my plumbing needs!

Needed to replace an unusual style of gas water heater and I called two companies- Company A and American Plumbing and Rooter.

Company A had way more google reviews and what appears to be a large marketing budget and a lot of employees. They came out quickly and gave me a really high quote and immediately pressured me to both give them a good review and to follow through with the very expensive work.

I then called American Plumbing and Rooter for a 2nd opinion. Rich was really easy to deal with and literally saved me thousands of dollars on the repair. I might have a plumber for life now. Thanks, Rich.

Rich and his team were quick to check out the hot water leak in our foundation. They were transparent, professional, knowledgeable, and I never felt like they were pushy or trying to pressure a sale. We had a baby coming home from the hospital in a few days, and Rich and his team went above and beyond to get all the repairs done before the homecoming. Plus, the work was all reasonably priced. I highly recommend American Plumbing and Rooter. They will be our go-to in the future.

We had a leaking sink supply valve. I called Rich, based on their excellent reviews, and he said he would text later with a day and time, and he did just that. Exactly when promised, Kevin showed up and made quick work of both the valves. Kevin is professional and works quickly. I've not had plumbing work done since the government's crazy over-spending spree (higher inflation) so I don't have a current comparison, but if guessing, I'd say their pricing is fair.

Rich came out and installed a new water heater and water softener. I'm very pleased with the install and would recommend American Plumbing. Rich was very open and honest on what type of equipment we should install. He was very responsive in email and text while we negotiated the deal, and he was very punctual and communicated clearly before arriving to our house. The install was very high quality. Rich explained how to operate our new equipment and also advised us on the upcoming preventative maintenance we had to be aware of. Finally he explained the warranty and what kind of longevity to expect. Overall I'm very satisfied with Rich and the product he delivered.

My hot water heater pressure relief valve had a steady stream of hot water coming out. Later on, I also found out that I had a faulty ball valve preventing me from being able to flush out the tank. It was Labor Day and I reached out to American Plumbing and Rooter and a few other plumbers via Yelp. Rich responded very quickly. Out of the 3 responses I got on Labor Day, Rich was the only one who started a dialog with me and went through specific questions to really understand what was wrong with my water heater. He also went through the trouble to look up the serial number and figure out that my water heater was still under warranty.

Rich gave me a couple of options and his quote for replacing the pressure relief valve was very competitive with other quotes I was getting (actualy about $20 less). I decided to go with warranty replacement as it was clear my water heater had a ton of scale build up as I did not have a water softener until very recently and the heater had not been flushed or serviced for 4 yrs.

Rich set me up with an appointment and 2 days later, I have a new water heater and everything is working perfectly. Kevin did the installation. He showed up right on time per my appointment and he did a great job explaining what he was going to do. He did a very tidy job overall and the installation was neat and clean.

Near the end of the install, Rich came out to check and make sure everything was done properly and he explained to me how to flush the water heater and what servicing was necessary to keep it running in top shape.

I was concerned that this was going to be a major PITA. Rich and Kevin made this a fast and easy process. The pricing is very competitive and, most importantly, Rich was the only plumber who responded quickly on Labor Day and actually spent quite a bit of time helping me understand my options instead of sending just a one sentence response or some automated response.

Rich was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. I messaged via Yelp on a Sunday morning and he replied within 10 minutes. He was able to come out on that following Tuesday and was extremely transparent about the whole process. There was a slab leak and the leak location company they work with was fantastic as well. The fix he did avoided jackhammering up our tile and all that remains is minimal drywall repair. We also got a few other maintenance items taken care of as well. I would highly, highly recommend them for your repairs. Very reasonably priced and the transparency on what needed to be done was so key. I will definitely call them again for any future repairs.

Another 5-star review, well deserved I might add... Rich came out this morning, diagnosed the problem, and saw another two in the same area that were coming soon. Gave me a price, I accepted and 3 hours later the reason I called was fixed and the other 2 festering issues were taken care of too. Good honest guy not out to get us to buy him a ticket for a trip on SpaceX... Reasonable and very knowledgeable. Thanks!

I found American Plumbing through Yelp and am sure glad I did. Rich (owner) was easy to work with and delivered as promised.

Rich responded to my Yelp inquiry fast. Was able to text him pictures of the water softener which needed to be replaced and explain what I was looking for. Rich proposed a solution which met my needs at a reasonable price and we agreed to move forward.

Kevin, the technician assigned to my job, was on time and very professional. Kevin performed the service efficiently and hassle free. Rich came by towards the end of the installation to ensure everything had gone according to plan. Rich also inspected a few other plumbing concerns I had about other non-water softener items while on site.

Will definitely be giving American Plumbing the first look at any future plumbing needs I have.

They did an awesome job replacing my very old corroded water main. They were very professional, quick to respond and were on time. They definitely earned my business and will use them again for any plumbing needs.

Rich and his team are amazing to work with. I had a new water heater and whole house water softener put in last year. They did an excellent job. Everything has been working great. He diagnosed some other issues we should look at and charges a fair price for his work.
Almost a year later I had an issue (not his fault) with the water heater. They came out same day and resolved it at no charge.
The guy runs an honest business does an excellent job and takes care of his customers. There’s no reason to look anywhere else for your plumbing needs.

I discovered a water leak just off the water meter on the main line towards my house. I contacted Rich and we exchanged a few pictures and description. One company came out and wanted to jump directly to an expensive replacement, but after the conversation I'd had with Rich, I wanted to get a quote from him. He came out the next day and inspected it and based on the location, he recommended a spot repair rather than a line replacement, which means that it was not work that he normally does. He recommended a company who knew him and they sent someone out that same afternoon and they agreed with Rich's diagnosis and performed the spot repair for 10% of the first company's quote. Rich even followed up with me to ensure I was getting my issues addressed . . . on a job that was not what his team does daily. I cannot say enough how much I appreciated the honesty and professionalism and care to make sure I got water back onto my house very quickly. If you're looking for a plumber, you will not find a better choice than American Plumbing and Rooter.

I contacted American Plumbing because of some damage done to a pipe by the town when they came to swap out my water meter. From the very beginning I was impressed with Rich’s communication with me. He took the time to listen to what happened, asked for pictures and was able to help guide me in my response to the town for my claim and approval. Once I received approval for the work, I contacted Rick. He got back to me quickly and was able to have a repair man out within a few days. Kevin arrived Monday on time and ready to work. After looking at the repair more a weird pipe was discovered so Kevin contacted me about the pipe and walked me through next steps. He then called Rich who came out to also look at the pipe. Both Kevin and Rich were very professional and honest of their assessment and next steps. We decided to hold off on the repair and we would do some more digging to see what we were working with. Once the hole was dug, I sent Rich pictures and once again we were ready to move forward. Kevin was back out a few days later to complete the repair. Same thing as before, arrived on time and was very professional. Throughout the entire process both Kevin and Rich took the time to speak with me about the issue, our potential options, and the repair itself. I am very happy with the work done and the level of service we received. I grabbed a few cards and will recommend them to anyone who needs a plumber. 5 stars all the way!!

Rich replaced our water heater last spring. We had an issue today with no hot water. He quickly did some troubleshooting and found that we have a leak either under the slab or in the wall. He referred a restoration company and they came within a couple hours. What felt like a daunting and difficult process now seems like we will have this resolved soon. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this company for your plumbing needs!

Found this company on Yelp. Long story short, eggshells are not a good thing to put down your disposal! Rich's quote to hydrojet was the lowest I could find and Jake did a great job of breaking through a mound of eggshells in our sewer line. They billed me at the low end of what they quoted after spending 2 hrs on the job. This is a great, small business in our community! PS - They are also the lowest price for running a camera down your sewer. Thanks Jake and Rich!
