The technician Diego DeJesus and the technician operating the camera were both very professional, thorough and efficient. They were honest and upfront about the price with no surprise fees. I Called with a backed up main line at 6pm on a Saturday they arrived in about an hour and the job was completed by 8pm. Other companies I called wanted to change a significant fee for coming out on a Saturday Night.

Diego De Jesus was fantastic! He came 40 minutes out of his way after hours when we had an urgent leak. He cleared out the leak in a timely manner and took his time to educate us about plumbing and answered all of our questions! He is an honest guy and we felt confident that our issue is resolved. We greatly appreciate his service!

Roto Rooter was AMAZING! We called and within 90 minutes they had arrived and figured out our problem (another company was perplexed). We’re on septic so there are many things that can go wrong. Diego was kind, professional and the price was very reasonable. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you! 10/10

1. Tech provided the estimate up front. Thought it was a bit high for a main line sewer clog removal but did include a detailed camera review and recommendations to help prevent another clog. I will most likely rent a long snake from Home Depot if there is a future clog but hopefully not.
2. Cleaned and secured surface outlet line.
3. Checked clog removal afterwards.
4. When the block surfaced out of the inlet line they told me they would clean up the area, I went out the following morning since they finished up at night and the clog debris was still there so I had to clean it up.
5. One of the techs left their used black plastic gloves next to my mailbox on my lawn on the ground. One of my neighbors pointed it out to me in the morning so I had to throw them away.

All in the service was good, clog is gone and they provided good information and answered my questions during their service.

Roto-Rooter Phoenix/Tempe recently responded to an urgent sump pump issue at our home, and the service exceeded expectations. Diego D. was dispatched for the repair. Although he noted he is a plumber who is still relatively new to sump pump systems, he demonstrated strong professionalism and transparency. He accurately diagnosed the problem within minutes and made a quick adjustment that completely resolved the issue. To our surprise, he did not charge us for what he considered a minor fix.

Trevor, the Site Supervisor, also arrived for the emergency appointment. He was equally professional and conducted a complimentary video scope of our exterior pipes. Fortunately, everything appeared normal. Both technicians worked efficiently and completed all necessary checks in under an hour.

From scheduling to service, the entire team was exceptional. Floyd arranged our appointment within an hour of calling, and Diego and Trevor delivered friendly, fast, and knowledgeable support. Their willingness to help, their professionalism, and their eagerness to ensure the job was done right made a lasting impression.

Diego D. was amazing. He was quick, thorough, and committed. Despite not having the part (or thinking he may not) he called around to find one/solution. He explained everything and made it easy. He was kind and validating to our stress. He checked three times to make sure the repair was solid and holding. Reasonable pricing!

Such awesome service!! My kitchen faucet sprayer house malfunctioned and made a huge water mess. I called Rich at 9:15pm to make an appointment for the next morning. He was very accommodating with my schedule and showed up right when he said he would. Rich and his apprentice were knowledgeable and professional. He didn't have the part I needed on his truck so he went to Home Depot to get it! He came right back and installed my kitchen faucet quickly and neatly. I texted him later in the day to ask a question and he can back my my house to check it out and make a quick adjustment. Highly recommended!

As honest as they come.
Our sewer has backed up twice in a month. So gross!!! Now, it's July 3rd and almost everyone is on a 4 day weekend in a matter of hours.
Rich and Jake were out immediately and gave us the bad news...roots in our sewer line. A LOT of roots which will cost A LOT to repair. After he saw the look on my face, Rich gave me a suggestion. They would grind out what roots they could so we could go about our daily routines BUT considering where the problem was, I should contact the City.
As I dealt with the City, Rich contacted a locating service for me. They were on my property in an hour to locate the problem and record a video of the damaged pipe.
Long story short, the city picked up the tab of $15,000! Rich and Jake could have cleared the pipe (or worse, replaced it!), charged us a ton of money and been on their way. Instead, they did what was best for US. We cannot thank Rich and his team enough for their honesty and we will recommend American Plumbing & Rooter to anyone that will listen!

Rich is very responsive and shows up on time. He took time to understand a unique problem I had with running a separate water line for a pond. Although we ultimately decided the job will be too complicated, Rich spend quite a bit of time with me and gave me all the options to educate me so that I dont end up in a bad situation even if I didnt choose him for the install. I will be contacting Rich for all my future plumbing needs. He also did not charge me the trip charge even after I insisted twice. I really appreciated him being helpful and transparent. Rich was extremely helpful with my plumbing needs. Spent time on the phone with me to address the issue as well was able to receive pics via text to confirm the issue. Scheduling was very reasonable and was reassured that if the need became more emergent to call back and they would see what they could do. He arrived early to the job with a call to me ahead of time, explained each step he was taking, and was great with honest recommendations. 2 jobs completed in one visit. Thorough and cleaned up after. Would highly recommend this company! And would absolutely use them again if the needed. Thx Rich!

Kevin and Rich were great! They came to give us a second opinion/estimate and found the first guys had broken the sewer cap and dropped it down into the pipe! They quickly came up with unique way to get it out! They were able to use their camera to look at the lines/pipes and tell my mom everything was looked great! The estimate was $0 And they didn't even charge to fix the other people's mistake 🤗 these guys are the best I'll call them again next time I need a plumber 😁

We had a blockage in our main sewer line and needed to make a decision quickly. I had already called out another plumbing company (located near our house) to run a camera down the line and find the blockage. They said they would need to dig down in a difficult spot and cut out the area around the block.

The cost was high enough I wanted to get another quote. But I also didn't want to delay getting the work started. American Plumbing answered and I was in contact with a technician immediately at 5pm on a Monday (no wait for call back!).

I explained what I knew from the other company and they confirmed that American Plumbing would likely take the same approach, and that the price quoted by the other company sounded very fair. They also quickly brainstormed and shared a possible additional company that might be able to handle it without having to dig.

I was super impressed with the responsiveness and willingness to listen to my whole story, offer advice, and try to think of any alternative that could save me money. All at no cost, and without trying to "take over" the job from the first company.

American Plumbing will be at the top of my list next time I need some plumbing work done!

I contacted American Plumbing and Rooter on Monday at 930pm, spoke to Rich regarding a replacement for the hot water valve under the kitchen sink. Rich set up an appointment for 7am the very next day! Kevin came out (he arrived on time) and replaced the valve in a matter of minutes! I asked Kevin to take a look at my water heater and he quoted a fair price to replace. We scheduled an installation for the very next day (today). Rich and Kevin both came out and once again, they were on time. These guys were very nice and professional and they took the time to explain the maintenance of the water heater.

Rich was amazing! We recently bought a house and discovered our water heater pump was leaking. Rich came out the next day check out the situation, and gave me an estimate on replacing the pump. He also noticed some bad pipe work from whoever installed the water heater originally and gave me an estimate to fix as well. He came back ASAP with the new pump and fixed both the pump and the piping. He was very very thorough and explained everything to me. Moving to a new place can be stressful and finding people you can trust is challenging. His prices were reasonable and his customer service was rockstar! Rich put my fears at ease and is definitely my go to plumber now.

It's always hard to find honest people you can trust. Your search is over because American Plumbing is a company you can trust. After getting a "reduced" quote from one of the big plumbing companies in the valley for a new water softener, I called another company that refused to give me a quote. They had to come see it. Finally I called American Plumbing, texted them 4 or so pictures and got a quote in about 10 minutes. I ended up spending $1,200 less and the work was done on time and UNDER my original quoted price. We have found our new plumber for sure. The customer service was impeccable. They deserve every 5 star rating they get.

Rich was quick to get back to me with a quote and availability, on time and efficient with the replacement of shutoff valves. He also provided some information about other plumbing issues I had and made recommendations. Definitely will call him again!

I found American Plumbing & Rooter when I was googling for toilet service. American Plumbing had great reviews so we tried them this morning. Kevin Dillon did a great job of installing a new toilet and doing clean outs of the house and city pipes/drains. Guess we didn't realize how pouring grease down the sink (even with hot water) could clog the pipes/toilets up.
Kevin was very thorough and explained and demonstrated everything all along the way. He was on time and did a great job. Thank you, Kevin!

Truly outstanding service! We woke up to 4 inches of water in our garage and a flooded laundry room. Rich had someone out to our house within two hours to repair the problem. The repair tech was professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. The price for the repair was reasonable and they didn’t charge an extra emergency fee. I will definitely call American Plumbing next time I need a plumber!

Great company!! Called at 7am when I discovered my hot water tank had blown, and Rich picked up the phone. They were out in a few hours and did a fast repair! Rich was so professional and courteous, and was also very helpful in educating us on hot water tank maintenence to keep our new tank in tip top shape. I would give 10 starts if I could.
