The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently to remove 3 trees and trim another that was damaged in a recent windstorm. The were friendly, introduced themselves and made sure they understood what we wanted. They protected some existing landscape lighting with traffic cones and went out of their way to avoid cutting drip irrigation lines nearby. When they were grinding the stump and surface roots of the dead mesquite tree, they held up large plywood sheets to stop any stray rocks that might get kicked out during the grinding process. They cleaned up after the work was done. I have already booked them to come on Friday to do some additional work on our 4 paloverde trees. Highly recommend Heartwood Tree Care.

A great experience - from the arborist who came out to inspect my trees, to the crew who trimmed my mesquite. The crew was polite, professional, and didn't add anything to the quoted price after work was completed. Nice clean up too. My overgrown mesquite looks so much better! I'm looking forward to doing my other 4 trees soon.

Have used Heartwood for tree trimming in the past. Had them out to remove 3 sissoo trees. The removal went smoothly using cables and ropes with the team climbing the 60 foot trees and precisely cutting them down. Clean up after was great. Can't say enough positive things about them.

Heartwood trimmed our olive trees and other trees at our home. Their communication was great and their work was excellent. Howard is not satisfied with the job until the customer is delighted with the work. We will definitely use them in the future and have recommended them to our neighbors.

It was important to us that our big and beautiful desert trees be trimmed and thinned in advance of the big monsoon winds. Heartwood’s crews were prompt, courteous and expert. They listened to me, then kept us updated throughout. They were tidy and efficient, at a very competitive price. We’ll reach out to them again next year.

I had two very large dead pine trees adjacent to my home removed by Heartwood. These people were incredible. Their price was very competitive, the workers were professional, extremely safe, equipment was top notch. Dangerous job they handled in a professional manner and when they left everything was cleaned up. When a guy comes to your door saying he’s a tree trimmer working down the street, slam the door and call Heartwood.

I was referred to Heartwood because of his great service. They cancelled the first appointment and we rescheduled. Howard the owner came out to my home to inspect the work needed on a Friday afternoon. Let me know that I would see a proposal / estimate on Monday. After a week I called for a status on the estimate. Was told by the receptionist that she did not see it in the file but would message Howard. She stated he was behind and was probably still working on it. Two weeks later I sent an inquiry through the website for an update. Received a response that someone would get back to me the next day. Now another week has gone by, still no estimate which I need to asume is my answer. Howard just does not want the work. To give you an idea, I have 20 plus trees on my property.

Heartwood is an incredible company to work with. From the initial discussion of the work to be done, to the completion of that work, they are extremely caring and competent. My trees retain their shape between prunings since Heartwood has done them for several years now. Heartwood does not stub your trees or over prune. They understand how to integrate the tree shaping with the home architecture. I really cannot recommend them highly enough!

I love my ash trees, so I did a lot of research before choosing Heartwood Tree Care. They did an amazing job with my 3 ash trees. They were easy to communicate with and they came out quickly to look at the trees
and give me an estimate. They were very knowledgeable and explained their plan of action and how they were going to trim and prune the trees.
Kelly worked hard and diligently in the summer heat and cleaned up, as well. He also advised me on tree care for the extreme summer temperatures. He even remembered to close the back gate when he left which is always a big thing with me because I have dogs. I will call this company again whenever I need tree service. I had a great experience with Heartwood! Howard and Randy both provided an assessment and estimates, they were both clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. I had a tree removed, soil conditioned and a few trees trimmed. Will and his crew did a great job, they were early and fast! They left my backyard cleaner than when they got there. I’ll be using them again and would recommend to anyone!

Heartwood’s Jesus and Crew 2 just finished up a two day job trimming and cleaning up our 4 ficus trees. They also cut down one of the ficus trees that was dying and stumped it. They were absolutely outstanding! First of all, they were timely and very efficient. Their friendliness and professionalism was very well noted. Had another great experience working with Heartwood on a project to remove some oleanders at my home. Randy did an excellent job assembling the bid. Brittani did a great job of communicating project related news. Day of the job, Randy and Casey arrived on time, did a fantastic job with the removal and left the site clean as a whistle.
