Pool pump was not operating. Called and they came out same day. Same day repair, now up and running. Quick, polite and knowledgeable.

This is not a good company. I am not even sure they come out to check our pool. We never see a pool technician. They are supposed to come the same day every week. NOT TRUE. We gave them a chance to correct and it was not corrected. We will take our business elsewhere.

I've previously used them before this repair and have always been extremely happy with their work. Ric, the owner, completed the repairs in short order for a fair price. I would recommend them without reservation.

Worst customer service that I have dealt with. They expect a pool with perfection because they are not capable to deal with old functional equipment. They quote new equipment at large pricing.

They are even proud that have had numerous court cases for service issues.

I had clean algae from walls that is a not over night build up.

*******BUYER BEWARE*****THEY ARE HRASSING ME TRYING TO GET $99.00 for doing a bid. I inquired about their "pool school" on the phone and I never told the woman that I wanted it I was asking what it was. Then the tech showed up and talked to me for 15 min about what repairs were needed and that the pool needed to be drained and then I get an invoice for $99.00 for this "pool school" that the tech never told that him talking to me about the pool system was the "pool school". BUYER BEWARE!!!!

I would not use this company they are not reliable at all. I sent them out to clean and put chemicals in my pool the day after they were there it started to show allege. I asked that they make sure this does not happen and they decided to cancel my agreement with them. Obviously they have no skilled pool people that can do this properly.

Very unprofessional company. They charged before coming out and evaluating the pool. Never showed up. called the next day to confront company. Said they found the error and would call back after it was corrected. They Never called back or solved the issue.

We have been using their service for almost 5 years now. I could not be happier, our pool guy is extremely knowledgable and very friendly. He is always on time and is very through. I highly suggest Gilbert Pool Service!

Let's start with 'they called me'. The phone clerk is angry and rude. When I explained my issue they demanded to know what they could do. When I told them to calm down I was hung up on. Remember, they called me. This company is a joke. If I had read the Google reviews first I would never have done any business with these clowns.

They were terrible. They didn't clean my pool for 6 months while I was out of the country. Never emptied the filter baskets, only threw chlorine tablets into pool, didn't even put them in floater. They also threw chlorine tablets into my planter beds. Save yourself big headaches and do not hire this company. I am taking them to court because they insist they did the job, even though I have several video sources that show they did not do the job they were hired to do.

Our jacuzzi step had a 24 inch by 6 inch chunk of pebble sheen come off of it. Raphael, the pool technician, went out of his way to fix it. He had to first match up the pebble sheen by having it be recreated because our color was no longer available. He then did a terrific job repairing it. It looks great!

Surprised this company even received 3 stars, which is still extremely low. I honestly couldn't even give 1 star, but unfortunately in order to leave a review you are required to at least provide 1 star. There were so many issues that I can't lose anymore of my time which has already been wasted on this company. Alexis is the worst ever when it comes to so many things. They also have a person answering phones and dealing with customers on the front end who speaks VERY little English and moreover doesn't UNDERSTAND English. I'm having my credit card company reverse charges.... THAT'S HOW HORRIBLE THIS COMPANY IS!

I asked for an estimate. When their service tech came out. He insulted me by saying I was not maintaining my pool and I was backwashing too much. 2nd he carelessly looks around and leaves without giving me too much detail about why he denied me service. Then the guy leaves. This is the 5th pool company we've called and it seems most of these so-called great comanies want large sums of money and are too afraid to do real blue collar work to get the job done for their company name sake. If you see my post, keep looking for a real honest pool company because these people surely are not it !

Great service! Highly recommend. Joni in the office and our tech Brandon are professional and great to work with. Lots of problems with our 20 year old pool/jacuzzi. Quotes to fix are reasonable, and work done is always A+. Thank you for all your hard work!

NEVER, EVER, USE THIS COMPANY!!!! Called this company to begin servicing my pool. ended up needing a drain, chlorine wash, and refill. Told it was going to be done on wednesday, "technician" called and said he would be out Thursday to set up the pump. Showed up at my house, was on the phone for 45 mins in his truck while I waited. Was having a full on personal conversation on the phone during set up, couldn't tell if he was talking to me or the person on the other end of the phone. Finally acknowledged me and told me he would be out after his first call of the following day. Which, would put him at my place at 830 ish. Didn't show. no call to communicate when he would show up. We have dogs so we want to keep them from going after him. So we lock them up during that time. finally showed up at 10 unannounced. stayed until about 11 then left without saying anything to us at all. left the back gate unlatched. dogs could have gotten out. didn't arrive back until about 5pm and explained that 1) he rant out of chemicals and 2)he had been at the courthouse all day filing some sort of papers. Finishes, and tells me he will be back first thing monday morning to put chemicals in. Calls me at 230pm on monday to tell me he forgot chemicals and will be out tuesday. We call to complain. he shows up unannounced and walks right in the backyard. Dogs are not locked up. Double parked in our street. Ive written more than enough...
Zero communication, zero professionalism, not responsive. This company is AWFUL!!

I got a 2 page mailer when I bought my new home. One entire page was devoted to describing how other pool service companies are inferior to their service. And, if that was not enough, on the bottom of the second page it says, "Use caution when searching us on the web, many services are illegally stealing our name". Why would anyone want to steal their name, when their primary focus of representing their services is to degrade and demean all other pool services? I would never use a company that cannot stand on their own merits. If they are as good as they claim to be, simple word of mouth would get them more business than they could handle. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

quick to charge the initial inspection fee and schedule a service call for the next day 12-5. Next day they were a no show, and I gave them a second opportunity and rescheduled for the next day again 12-5 with 30 min courtesy call.

Again, failed to follow through on their representations. As a business owner any protentional customer has to be able to receive quality customer service in any competitive market is crucial. I will give not them my business.

So I tried to use them twice the first time was a extremely overpriced $300, 15 minute repair to fix a coupler with $8 of Home Depot PVC and $6 of PVC glue the second time my pool pump was having a hard time building pressure in the sand filter and my pool is green. When I got home after the service guy treated my wife like garbage my pool was worse... it looked like a toilet with green brownish foam on the top and my pump was barely circulating any water and the pressure was still at zero and they charged me a hundred bucks. After a few minutes I performed the repairs myself, which lets me know that Gilbert Pool Services does not know anything about pools. They are a fraud and a Rip off. Avoid this scam company at all costs.

Obviously the owner is using "special" glue... That no one else carries, and apparently he's the only guy in the world with 2" piping... Defending the indefensible shows the character of the owner....

ONCE AGAIN AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

The lack of communication from this company is mind blowing! We are never informed the day our tech would be coming, they just randomly show up. We have a pool cover and absolutely need to know I’m advance. Good luck getting a proper heads up let alone a call back. The tech that didn’t show was fired Monday and they didn’t inform us about this at all. The lack of communication and response is not worth it. Find another company!

These guys are great. I was out of town longer than expected and came home to a dark green pool, and a broken pool filter/pump. They are very responsive, professional, polite and did a great job. They made a point to not only tell me, but show me everything that was wrong and gave me different options, pros and cons. Their pricing was also very fair. If you are looking for a pool service you can trust, has great service and fair prices, look no further. Couldn't be happier.
