I paid $150.00 for delivery of two ocotillos and one is missing 1/2 the dirt. I called the office and the girl did not care and was not interested in hearing about my concerns, or offering any hints/tips for ensuring the plant will survive. She said “ocotillo can survive almost anything and are sold barefoot sometimes”. This is so very disappointing to be treated this way after spending over $300 on two plants and delivery. I liked the healthiness of your plants at the nursery and wanted them professionally delivered, but that was not what happened.

I will never use your nursery and completely regret using your delivery service. I will make sure everyone I know hears about this experience and I will post this on YELP and Google so that other prospective customers realize they cannot trust the quality of your delivery service and there is no customer care after the sale.

Went there only looking for a monstera adansonii, and left with way more! Great selection, helpful staff, and they have cute chickens risking around too lol but they definitely had more options here then other places i checked out!

Beautiful place! High quality plants and well-taken care of. Worth it just to walk through and feel the serenity.

They require masks for entry, there is a quaint set of signs to show the way, and a fantastic greenhouse of indoor plants! I even had an educational encounter with staff, who told me about indoor plants that clean the air! I will absolutely shop here again.

This place is over priced and cluttered. Went into the tropical are and was followed by the employees thinking we were stealing. Wouldn't recommend to anyone as they profile you and over charge.

Overall I enjoyed my trip here. Plants were mostly all in great health. Loved the greenhouse shack were we got a philodendron red Congo, a monstera, fiddle leaf fig, and a calathea to add to our collection. Also went and picked out a nicely sized desert rose which is doing wonderfully. The main issue I have is with the dragon wing begonia I purchased. The begonia bush was full and looked good with quite a few flowers however it did have a few brown translucent spots that were on a couple of leaves. I thought maybe it had been overwatered or was just some weird sun damage with that species. Nope ended up being Erwinia Blight. Which for those that don’t know is untreatable or incredibly hard to treat even with antibiotics (then the fungus grows resistant). I tried removing the damaged leaves and when the plant was watered to water it from below the leaves in hopes to not spread the fungus from top down watering. I’ve left now two different contact messages through their website (no response) and even called the nursery to get someone to talk to and got an email that didn’t work. So overall my experience was good based off selection and pricing but customer support on the back end when they sell a plant that has fungus that can wipe out anyones collection if not dealt with properly is rather not kind. At least I learned what Erwinia is and how to avoid it. Pictures for reference

Our family loves this nursery, we’ve purchased a a bunch of hopseed bushes and a tangelo tree a number of years ago. The tree is doing really good with a lot of TLC and the hopseed is now almost 6” tall. We plan on planting some more hopseed for privacy and to replace one that didn’t take as we hoped.
Super friendly staff and great customer service.

Really lovely place with very helpful employees. I went there after listening to the owner's radio show (Sunday mornings on 92.3 KTAR) and got the answers to what is plaguing my citrus trees.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. We saw a cactus we wanted. And they said they recycle alot of pots so that's the wrong price so they changed the price in front of us. Under under arizona statue: A person commits false advertising if, in connection with the promotion of the sale of property or services to be made or makes a false or misleading statement in any advertisement.

I'm one of those indoor jungle sort of people, so I explore nurseries first thing when moving somewhere new. Of all the nurseries I've found in AZ, this is my favorite! While they have a great selection of trees & shrubs & native plants, my favorite is their tropicals.

Their houseplant greenhouse is a magical place and the prices that they put on them are so good it makes me wanna cry. I stop by every time i drive past just to see if something catches my eye. I'd say 9/10 times something does haha

I’m honestly confused how this place has such glowing reviews. Both times I’ve been in, the customer service has been… let’s say, less than welcoming. The employees act like helping you is some kind of personal offense. Smiling? Saying hi? Responding to “how are you?” Apparently not part of the job.

This last time, I walked back to the greenhouse and got a death stare from an older guy like I was about to light the place on fire. Super inviting. At checkout, I asked about a plant I couldn’t find which is a totally normal question, right? The cashier didn’t know, so he asked someone else, who looked like I’d just asked her to donate a kidney. The attitude was unreal.

They have a great selection and it is a beautiful place and I really want to support local nurseries as opposed to big box stores, but I’m not about to spend money at a place where it feels like I’m inconveniencing people just by existing. Do better.

Incredible nursery with happy plants. They don’t use pesticides which I appreciate. The birds that live here are so beautiful too!

One of the better nurseries. It's worth stopping by if you're in the area. I don't know as if I would go out of my way to go there.
Update: I have indeed gone out of my way to return to this wonderful nursery. Seemingly acres of plants and trees. Very good & broad selection. You can walk around in there for an hour and still not see it all.

Stopped at Whitfill Nursery on Cooper Rd to look for some Italian Cypress trees. Gabriel helped us select exactly what we were looking for. He was extremely helpful. Whitfill’s selection was less than 50% of the cost compared to Moon Valley’s trees. $20 to plant each tree was a bargain considering the hard ground we have. Three workers planted and staked seven trees in an hour. We are very satisfied with Whitfill Nursery.

Adventure awaits! This place is enchanting! Homeschoolers will love to make this one of their fieldtrips. Chickens, chicks, turkies and guinea foul roam free amid the plants and statuary here. On a rainy day there are puddles galore that you are welcom to jump in at your own risk. Cacti, house plants, trees, shubs and even water plants are sold here. There are so many different creative brands of mulch to choose from, such as 'Happy Frog', What a fun name.

Got a dino saur lover in the family? try to find them all at this nursery. A visit here is such an adventure. You will love it here.

Great plant nursery with an impressive, packed indoor greenhouse! Plenty of flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, but most importantly: houseplants galore. Prices were extremely fair, from what I looked at.

Selection for days. You want cacti, citrus, small to large trees, outdoor or indoor plants to garden plants I'm sure you will find it here. Had a nice experience walking around and taking it all in. Stop by & say hi to Jack & Dianne. You'll find them in the indoor plant greenhouse.
